Chapter 27 - Club Members and Exerting Dominance

"Now that the mood has gotten lighter, shall we have a good conversation?" When I asked this, one of the princes, Elyas Sevuri, got up with a warm smile.

"I am Elyas of Sevuri kingdom, Sir Caelum. Or should I call you just Advisor?" The blue-haired and-eyed prince asked.

"Either of them is fine."

"Alright, then don't mind if I call you Advisor."

"Sure."

Then the blue-haired and eyed prince put his arm on the crimson-haired and red-eyed prince's, Nedrak Albus' shoulders.

"This here is one of my childhood friends. Give your greetings to the advisor, Ned."

Nedrak pushed Elyas with a disgusted expression.

"Don't get touchy!"

In contrast to Elyas's friendly conduct and tone, Nedrak seemed blunt and cold. Yet, Elyas didn't mind or didn't care about this and continued to act friendly.

"That is not a good manner you can show in front of other people, isn't it Ned?"

"I don't care."

Nedrak once again pushed Elyas's arm and sat right at the green-haired princess, Sera Dalinnor's side. His motion was careful as if he didn't want to bother her.

'Ah right, Sera, Elyas, and Nedrak are childhood friends. I forgot about it for a moment.'

However, the catchy question was how the fourth prince of our Celestia Empire, Gabriel Celestia, managed to get into this group of childhood friend trio.

"Umm..."

"...?"

My thoughts were disrupted by Sera Dalinnor's mumble. My attention turned to her and I directly looked into her emerald-green eyes.

What was special about this girl? Why did these three princes gather around her? Currently, I didn't know the reason for this. As the advisor of this club, I was going to have a sufficient amount of time to observe them and find out what was going on behind their mask.

Observing their movements and guessing their motive was more enjoyable than mind reading. Was there any reason to spoil my possibly only source of amusement with mind reading and find out the reason in an instant?

"Please don't mind Nedrak's tough speech. He is a war—"

"He is a warrior before being a prince. I know and I don't care. What I want is mutual respect and patience. I don't want any kind of fight or argument between members."

Nedrak Albus' red eyes lit like a blaze when I cut Sera's speech in half. And when he heard my words, a vein popped in his forehead and he sprang onto his feet.

"Nedrak sto–"

"Ned, calm do–"

Hastily, Sera and Elyas tried to pacify Nedrak but in my eyes, it was futile action.

"Sit down, Prince."

Thud!

"..."

"..."

"..."

Nedrak sat– no, fell on his chair. His legs lost their strength and cold sweat covered his forehead.

"What I have said just now? It was 'I don't want any kind of fight', right? So, why are you trying to cause a fight?"

Nedrak didn't– no, he couldn't answer my question.

This was kind of a normal development. Most talented politicians and nobles had a tacit understanding of each other and had some kind of special intuition. They understood people and the desires of people more than the average person and acted to benefit from this understanding.

This was the same for the killers.

As Sera Dalinnor said, Nedrak Albus was more of a warrior rather than a prince. He was a killer. So, he needed to learn which one of us was more of a killer than the other.

That is what I did. I showed the difference between us with a slip of my aura — the record of my karma, about how I lived this life of mine.

This was enough for him to be more obedient towards me. Truly, dealing with killers was more easy than with politicians.

"Now, shall we speak about the purpose of the club now?" I asked with a subtle smile to melt the tense atmosphere.

******

When the club members saw Nedrak's obedience, heard Caelum's words, and saw his smile, all of them had different reactions.

'A monster! Isn't he just six years older than us? How many he slaughtered? Did he begin to kill when he was a baby?'

Nedrak was scared and having a hard time believing this man in front of him was just 24 years old. He subconsciously got closer to Sera — this didn't escape from Caelum's gaze.

'Suppression by aura?' Elyas guessed with an intrigued smile behind his hand. 'It seems the rumors about how he suppressed the rebel forces alone and killed many devils wasn't entirely a lie.'

As for the last of the childhood friend trio, Sera, she was just amazed and slightly embarrassed. Because the one who saw her was someone who turned out to be amazing, at least in her eyes.

'He managed to stop Nedrak with just a few words. Amazing! I hope he didn't notice me though...'

As for Estrid, she just nodded after catching a glimpse of Caelum's aura.

[As expected, the Executioner is strong even at this age.]

However, the sister of Caelum, Seraphina's mind was in turmoil.

'Why is big brother here? Why did he even scare one of the male leads? Why did he become the advisor of this club? Why and where did this gloomy girl come out? Why? Why? WHY? WHY?'

The plot she knew already altered and this made her scared of the future. The fear of the unknown began to envelop her weak, immature heart.

Yet, while everyone was having these thoughts, a certain person was still sleeping. At least he was sleeping before Caelum slipped a little bit of his aura towards him.

"Yawn... wha-?"

After yawning big enough to shed a few tears, Lars found himself in the middle of the attention. His eyes wandered around with confusion, especially on the girls and their special parts, until he saw a particular man donned in black with black hair and cold grey eyes.

Instantly, a few lines of thought popped into his mind.

[Oh isn't this pretty famous NPC, Caelum Achard the Executioner, who can become both villain or helper according to the player's choices? What is he doing in this club?]

[Oh, shit why is he looking at me with that gaze? Oh fuck, according to the lore, Caelum Achard can read minds but he was just an NPC of the game, so it wasn't that obvious... But this is the reality now! What if he is reading my mind?]

And, Lars was scared to death with this sudden realization. Again.
