Chapter 177 - 177

Chu Tian took out the space pet cage and released the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger.

After not seeing it for over a month, the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger had grown to the size of a fully grown Alaskan sled dog that Chu Tian used to have.

Upon seeing Chu Tian, the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger let out a complaint-like roar, sounding very aggrieved, as if complaining that Chu Tian had saved it, left it some food, and then ignored it.

The tiger, behaving like a cat, ran to Chu Tian's side, nuzzling him with its large head against his chest.

Chu Tian, feeling a bit guilty about the tiger's cat-like behavior, watched it affectionately.

However, attracted by the noise, Muketuo and others came out of their tents and saw the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger beside Chu Tian, about to inquire.

Feeling the presence of strangers, the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger stood up and roared at them.

Chu Tian, having a natural affinity with animals and beasts, explained, "I saved it from a Mountain Moving Giant Ape. Its parents were gone, so I adopted it but had kept it in the pet cage, recently forgetting about it due to being busy."

Chu Tian's explanation was simple, but everyone caught the mention of the Mountain Moving Giant Ape and internally raised Chu Tian's level again, knowing that it was a terrifying beast with extraordinary abilities and a fearsome legacy.

Seeing that Chu Tian was fine, everyone returned to their tents. After calming the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger, Chu Tian pressed the cleaning button on the pet cage, washed it, and hung it back on his waist.

Although the system space was convenient, it couldn't contain living things. Otherwise, Chu Tian would have thrown the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger into the system space, as he wasn't very attentive to pet care.

He found a water-element talent martial artist to bathe the Thunder Fire Rage Tiger. The creature, feeling happy, directly crawled into Chu Tian's tent and unceremoniously lay on the soft sleeping bag, leaving Chu Tian to set up another tent.

Just as the tent was set up, Chu Tian felt a breeze and then heard a low female voice singing. Unconsciously, Chu Tian felt the song pulling him towards the source.

In his vision, a tall woman stood in the midst of the Red Lotus Karma Fire, smiling at him. She had willow-leaf eyebrows, beautiful almond-shaped eyes, a high nose bridge, and long black hair fluttering in the breeze.

Chu Tian, captivated, reached out to grab the red figure, the woman who captivated him at first sight. But after taking a few steps, Chu Tian's heart jolted, and the Xuanxin Jing automatically activated, pulling him back from the song's allure.

Looking up at the Red Lotus Karma Fire, there was no red-dressed woman, only the gently swaying flames.

The breeze grew stronger, and the surrounding voices became eerie.

Turning around, Chu Tian saw seven people, including Amina and Sado, walking out of their tents. Muketuo also emerged, his expression twisted, fighting against the strange voices in the wind.

Chu Tian, initially influenced but quickly snapped out of it due to Xuanxin Jing, now used it to slightly enhance his mental power.

He enveloped the eight people who had left their tents with telekinesis, creating a barrier of mental power around them, isolating them from the eerie figures in the wind.

Everyone regained consciousness, surprised to find themselves floating. Seeing Chu Tian and the Red Lotus Karma Fire, they realized what had happened, as the flame flickered wildly in the wind.

Muketuo, first to awaken, breathed deeply and smiled gratefully at Chu Tian. The others looked scared, realizing how close they were to the deadly Red Lotus Karma Fire.

After everyone came to their senses, Chu Tian continued to run Xuanxin Jing and maintain the telekinetic wall, shielding them from the eerie voices.

Two hours later, when the wind subsided and the strange voices disappeared, Chu Tian released everyone.

Sado, relieved, thanked Chu Tian, saying that without him, the last few members of his team would have perished. Amina's team, including herself, had five people remaining.

Chu Tian's Xuanxin Jing had broken through to the second stage's mid-phase, a significant improvement. Although the previous thunder strikes had also enhanced him, those were through physical pain, much less than the direct soul impact of this experience.

Muketuo took a deep breath and thanked Chu Tian, noting that the voices in the wind attacked everyone's inner weaknesses, whether emotions or greed. He was surprised that Chu Tian was not affected.

Chu Tian replied that he was initially influenced but quickly snapped out of the illusion. He suggested they look for a way through the Red Lotus Karma Fire while there was still daylight.

Muketuo regretfully said that they had searched extensively in the past, losing many people
