Chapter 178 - 178

Chu Tian, observing the surroundings, found nothing after three thorough searches with his mental power. He then turned his attention to the Red Lotus Karma Fire.

Using his mental sense, Chu Tian carefully searched the interior of the Red Lotus Karma Fire.

Muketuo and Sado watched Chu Tian's actions with curiosity but didn't disturb him, respecting him as a powerful talent martial artist in their minds.

After a meticulous search within the fire, Chu Tian finally noticed a circular hole from which the Red Lotus Karma Fire seemed to be erupting.

Recalling the Phoenix Emblem in his system space, Chu Tian enveloped it with his mental power and sent it into the Red Lotus Karma Fire.

Everyone watched in confusion as they didn't understand why Chu Tian was doing this.

As the Phoenix Emblem touched the fire, the flames intensified and spread, causing the eight people present to retreat in fear. However, the explosion of flames suddenly diminished.

Chu Tian used his mental power to guide the Phoenix Emblem closer to the circular hole, and then it was abruptly sucked into the hole.

Instantly, all the Red Lotus Karma Fire shrank back as if in reverse, disappearing underground within a few breaths.

Seeing the flames disappear, everyone was stunned, not expecting Chu Tian to have quelled the Red Lotus Karma Fire.

Chu Tian smiled and said, "Let's go in quickly." He led the way into the area where the fire had been.

Without the fire reigniting, Muketuo and the others followed Chu Tian after seeing him walk safely.

Soon, they all gathered around the only circular stone platform in the area.

"There's no way forward," Muketuo observed, looking around. "Could it be under this platform?" He attempted to push the stone platform, but it remained immovable despite his efforts.

Chu Tian, stroking his chin, carefully examined the platform. It depicted a phoenix spreading its wings, similar to the Phoenix Emblem, with lotus patterns underneath, but nothing else significant.

Realizing the platform was the entrance, Chu Tian said he would study it. After examining every corner with his mental sense, he found a removable petal in the lotus pattern, revealing a circular socket with a phoenix-wing design.

Understanding the need for the Phoenix Emblem again, Chu Tian instructed everyone to stand back. He used his mental power to retrieve the emblem from the hole, which immediately reignited the Red Lotus Karma Fire, sealing their exit.

Realizing the need for a special object to open the path, Muketuo understood why the woman who could freely traverse the Red Lotus Karma Fire had mentioned missing a key. Clearly, the Phoenix Emblem Chu Tian held was the key to the Kunlun treasure.

Chu Tian placed the Phoenix Emblem into the socket on the stone platform. At first, nothing happened, but after turning it to the right, the platform emitted a bright red light, and a phoenix figurine emerged and circled the platform before revealing an entrance.

"Let's be careful and go in," Chu Tian said, leading the way into the hole.

The hole, about fifty meters deep, was brightly illuminated by golden light. Chu Tian discovered thirty-six head-sized yellow gems on the walls, emitting strong spiritual energy.

Muketuo and the others followed, marveling at the sight of the gems and the huge cave. Sado was eager to mine the nine-level spiritual energy crystals but was stopped by Muketuo, who pointed out that the arrangement of the crystals was significant, forming the Thirty-Six Heavenly Gangs formation.

After careful observation, they realized the cave was empty except for the crystals.

Eyeing the crystals again, Chu Tian extended his mental sense, knowing the real treasure of this place was more than just the crystals above.
