Chapter 154 - 154

Next to a rock, a B-class Iron Tail Lizard was struck through the head and let out a roar before collapsing on the ground.

[Decomposable material found. Decompose?]

"Decompose."

[Decomposition successful. Four attributes increased by 1 point each.]

[Received 130 attribute points, totaling 3570 points.]

Chu Tian took a deep breath. Although the forest was teeming with fierce beasts, he was not yet ready to use S-class beasts for training his martial skills. Killing an S-class beast would deplete too much of his energy and leave him vulnerable to other S-class threats.

After looking at the Iron Tail Lizard, now a puddle of green blood, Chu Tian continued on with his Emperor Overlord Spear in hand. His psychic perception constantly scanned the surroundings for information on fierce beasts.

While leaping over a bush, Chu Tian noticed something peculiar about a 10-meter-high rock about 300 meters away. The rock, partially hidden in shadow, resembled a malevolent face.

As Chu Tian curiously observed the rock, a tiger covered in flame patterns and stepping on clouds of thunder was sniffing the ground. It was a young Thunder Fire Furious Tiger, about 1.3 to 1.4 meters in length, evidently a few months old. Surprisingly, this cub had a C-class strength.

Just as Chu Tian was about to capture the young tiger, the large rock he had noticed earlier began to move, revealing its true form.

"I'll be damned, a Mountain Moving Giant Ape," Chu Tian exclaimed in surprise. These creatures were born A-class and had incredibly potent genetic inheritance. This particular ape, sitting over 10 meters tall and likely over 20 meters when standing, could be over 30 meters in length, a true giant beast.

The Thunder Fire Furious Tiger cub, startled by the giant ape, tried to escape but was quickly enclosed within a metallic cage the ape had produced.

The Mountain Moving Giant Ape roared, beating its chest and angrily yelled at Chu Tian, "Despicable human, come out!"

Chu Tian wasn't surprised by the ape's ability to speak; many S-class beasts could transform into humans, although not as perfectly as those of S+ class.

Chu Tian prepared his sword formation and approached the ape.

"You seek death, interrupting my business?" the ape said upon seeing Chu emerge.

Chu Tian realized he couldn't discern the ape's level, indicating it was likely beyond S-class.

"May I ask the senior to release this Thunder Fire Furious Tiger cub?" Chu Tian asked politely, knowing the ape must have visited human settlements, like the ghost markets.

The ape scoffed, "Why should I give you face?"

"Then, how about on behalf of my half-mentor, Wu Xiuer?" Chu Tian mentioned her name.

The ape's pupil contracted but then he snorted, "You think you can pressure me with your mentor?"

"I wouldn't dare. I only hope the senior might grant me this favor," Chu Tian said respectfully, offering to help the ape with a task within his abilities.

The ape sat down and pondered before agreeing to release the tiger if Chu could bring Wu Xiuer to a treasure hunt indicated on a map he possessed.

Chu Tian asked to see the map, wanting to ensure it was worthwhile before involving Wu Xiuer.

The ape nonchalantly threw a grey-lighted map at Chu Tian. Using his eagle-eye talent, Chu Tian caught it easily, despite it being thrown as a show of force.

"Thank you for your trust," Chu Tian said, smiling at the ape and unfolding the map to examine it.
