The fishing line sunk into the water, Hermione was the one gripping the rod this time. She gripped tightly with her two hands, attempting to steady her hand which had been shaking earlier.
Hermione's head hung low. She could visualize herself in the water. Although the water was clear enough, she still couldn't know if a fish was approaching or not.
She took some steps back away from the water, to avoid falling as it was more than close to her.
Not long after, she felt a pull on the hook. Instantly, Hermione was alert. Her eyebrows raised as she copied the movements of Lloyd. She yanked the fishing rod closer to herself.
Even though the fish had been caught and she was drawing it away from the water, it sunk back into the water before it got to Hermione. Her eyebrows pulled together into a frown.
She turned her head to the side to glance at Lloyd who was watching with a blank expression. He was yet to say anything.
