The system informs him, and a look of understanding appears on Cleo's face after hearing this. It seems that the difference between experience is what sets the two apart.
The mutant lifeform takes the quick attacks of Lank head-on, calmly waiting for his chance to attack; he is too nimble for him to attack without a plan.
Lank was angry that his opponent was not budging from his attacks. He was using Hitman boxing style to attack it from a safe distance, but it seems that his jab was unable to pierce through the thick muscle of his target.
He decided to change style and opted for an infighting boxing style in order to dish out stronger blows. He got closer, but not too much, and entered a middle-range hitting area.
BAM! BAM! BAM! Even though he was hitting his target with stronger blows, it still did not budge. Maybe ticked off by this, he decided to throw a wide hook.
BAM! He was blown away by the mutant lifeform; he feels his ribs cracking. The horns of his opponent were actually incredibly hard, and its attack was so strong that it broke his rib in just one blow.
"HOO!" The mutant lifeform roars in rage as it leaps and smashes itself into him. The additional impact thoroughly breaks his ribcage, and the broken ribs pierce through his lungs, clogging his inside with blood. He is now drowning in his own blood.
"It seems that you are too inexperienced to fight such a veteran." A voice appears besides the two of them. The mutant lifeform was then hit by a strong punch, blowing it away. Even with its large body, it was still blown away.
"Go hide behind Leon and recover; once you can move, start targeting large advanced-grade lifeforms." Cleo orders it before giving it to Glutton, who is now covered with multiple injuries.
Lank does not have a powerful regeneration ability, but he is still a beast-type lifeform. Together with the Gemstone of Life, he can recover after resting for a certain period of time.
"Now then, let us finish what we started, shall we?" Cleo chuckles at the mutant lifeform. The latter shakes its head in order to recover from the dizziness caused by the punch. Even with its thick neck and muscles that can absorb powerful blows, it was still stunned by the punch.
It roars and unhesitatingly charges at him. It knows that it is no match, but it is unable to retreat as it would be killed by the true Supernaturals on their side.
Cleo leaps and dodges the charge; he kicks its head but is unable to take it down; he laughs out loud; and when his foot hits the ground, his figure instantly appears in front of the mutant lifeform.
BAM! A hook hits its chin. As it's head was blown to the side, a hand grabbed its horn and flipped its body before throwing him to the ground. As it was lying on its back, a fist smashed its head, burying it to the ground.
Cleo can see that his opponent is still functioning; without hesitation, he lightly jumps and stomps on its chest. He is taken aback by the repulsion after hitting its chest, and it seems that its muscles are tougher than he first thought.
BAM! BAM! BAM! He continues to stomp its chest while lightly jumping using its body, making his stomp much stronger and sharper.
ROAR! The mutant lifeform rolls over, but it is unable to recover as its face is once again hit, this time with an elbow to its eyes. It then feels someone gently touching it before feeling its body being flipped over once again.
The cycle continues to repeat, slowly but surely. It feels its chest caving in; it knows that it will not survive this fight; it was desperate not to survive but to retaliate.
It's pride as a hunter and fighter is what keeps it going; it knows that it would not be able to defeat its current opponent, but it cannot accept that it was treated like this.
It tried to crush its target by clapping its hand, but a gentle force redirects its hands, causing it to miss. Then, a powerful kick descends on its head, burying it deeper.
"Such a tenacious will! Hahaha! I want you! I want you to be one of my pets!" Cleo roars as his attack becomes more brutal; he just wishes that his current target would leave a soul blessing, preferably a pet type.
[The host does not need to worry; the soul of the current target is undeniably strong, and its talent also does not reflect any type of soul blessing other than special, transformation, or pet type.]
His eyes light up after hearing this. He knows that if he obtained this big guy as a pet, Lank would not only obtain a reliable ally but also a worthy rival, and the two could grow stronger together.
Different from him, Leon was like a lawnmower, cutting genetic lifeforms like they were grass. With each swing of his sword, multiple targets would be cut in half, and almost all the genetic lifeforms are now avoiding him.
His presence made the human warriors scream in happiness; they felt invigorated watching him kill the enemies; it was as if, as long as he was present, victory was assured on their side.
The teachers also noticed his efficiency in terms of killing enemies, and they cannot deny that they might be weaker than him.
His killing rate increased when he equipped the Lizard Suit; not only did his speed become too fast for the majority of the genetic lifeforms, he would also become invisible from time to time, killing unaware Supernaturals.
"Protecting him was worth it," stated Ougen as he watched him reap the lives of Supernaturals, who are clearly born and evolved to take attacks head-on.
Moonlight Archer, besides him, nods her head; she agreed that it was worth it; such a young superior Supernatural is definitely worth them risking their lives.
In a different location on the chaotic battlefield, a group of people were cheering for Leon as he killed another Supernatural.
One of them sighs and says,.
"As expected, sir, no, it should be Lord now, yes! Lord Immortal, he is truly a heaven-defying individual."
One of them looks at the person who spoke and says something that resonates with all of them.
"If only there was no problem with Lord Miracle Child, the Twin Stars of our Hope Family would blossom once again."
They were the Miracle Group, and now that the former mercenaries have shown their worth and loyalty, the two groups are now united.
"It is because we are too weak to be able to share the burden of our two lords!" Wind Sword shouted, killing an Advanced Grade lifeform by decapitation.
"Comrade Wind Sword is right! We do not need to compare our pathetic selves to our lord, but we should at least be able to uphold the reputation of the Miracle Group!" Iron Captain stated after smashing the head of a small Advanced Grade lifeform.
"Hahaha! You are right, captain! We have been too complacent after following Lady Phoenix; after following Lord Miracle Child, I now understand that we are undeserving of her trust," one of the knights said.
There are multiple groups that are envious of their group; not only are they working under two individuals that surpassed the so-called top talent of their world, but their group is also quite connected to groups under the former greatest talents of their world.
Back to Cleo: seeing that the majority of the lifeforms are now paying attention to other individuals, he decided to train his assassination skill. He has experience in hiding, and together with the system's ability to mask his life force, he is born to be an assassin.
Because of his transformation, he opted to fight in a head-on manner, forgetting about this fact, but now that he has had the opportunity to practice his skill once again, he has decided to sharpen his body.
With the Lizard Suit, he would be able to walk the path of an assassin. Also, he has Dragon Flight and Tiger Pounce as his burst attacks, so he is confident that he can walk this path at the same time as walking other paths.
Others might call him greedy, but he calls it confidence. Hiking in the presence of his target, he stretches his hand as his veins bulge slightly, showcasing that the amount of power he puts on it is quite large.
SWISH! He moves instantly, stabbing his hand on the neck of his target. Blood flies as his target panics, but he already pulls his hand and escapes.
As it feels like blood is leaking at an alarming rate, the lifeform freezes and decides to stay at his current spot to recover.
SWISH! A sharp slice hits its nape, causing more blood to flow. Cleo, who was watching everything, sighs inwardly. He uses his hand to attack, but unfortunately, it was no sword, so he was unable to cut through the thick neck.
