One of the warriors quickly asked.
"Sir Crazy Hyena, we heard that Lord Miracle Child's team has already been decided; it was announced by one of the lords during the gathering."
They want to believe Elcio, but his status is lower than that of the other lords. The title of lord is given only to the supernatural warriors, as they are considered kings in any realm. After all, the existence of the stronger beings has remained an enigma for everyone all of this time.
Elcio smiles, not offended by the question.
"You are right, but my master has decided not to agree with the decision given by the other lords. After defeating a supernatural lifeform with Sir Immortal, he has gained the same status as the other lords." Everyone was shocked.
They believe that it will not take long for Cleo to become a supernatural warrior, but they did not expect that he would reach this strength after just five days of returning to this realm.
What they do not know is that, during these past few days, all Cleo had done was hunt genetic lifeforms from the Advanced Grade and would buy the flesh of the Normal Grade. After filling his normal and advanced genes, his constitution once again underwent a great change, and the true power of the dragon-tiger body tempering technique finally bloomed.
With his two supernatural genes, he automatically gains the strength of a supernatural warrior, and together with Leon's immortality, they are capable of fighting against any primary-stage supernatural lifeform.
"Amazing! Another miracle!" screams one of the warriors.
"I am not surprised! I know that he will definitely reach that stage," says one of the warriors, who was so shocked by the information that he became sober.
"Pick me! I am strong!" Suddenly, one of the warriors shouted, causing the rowdy place to become quiet, then all hell broke loose.
"No! Pick me! I am much better than these pathetic men!"
"Hmph! I am much better! Pick me! Not only am I strong, but I am also pleasing to the eyes," says a rather bold woman.
The warriors present start fighting amongst themselves. The Iron Captain raises his sword once again and slams it to the ground with his entire strength.
BOOM! The ground cracks, and the loud collision startles everyone. They turn to Elcio and his group, who were looking at them with solemn expressions.
"My master will not be the one that is going to pick the candidates, but us, his chosen group; after all, we are not going to be the main fighters but are going to serve as mostly supporters and intelligence gatherers; there are only two additional judges, and they are Lady Phoenix and Lady Star." After saying this, he leaves.
He wants to know which individual would spread this news the most or who would inform the most warriors; according to their leader, they had to pick these individuals.
Meanwhile, deep in the territory of the government army, Cleo was killing multiple genetic lifeforms with every attack he made. He looked like a valiant war god to the soldiers watching him.
'Hmm, as expected, my senses had truly sharpened.' He thought joyfully. He has been trying to discover the changes given to him by obtaining a hundred gene enhancements of normal and advanced genes.
'Unfortunately, the system is in deep sleep.' He did not expect that after obtaining the full limit of his advanced gene enhancement, the system would go offline. After, he felt something within him being unlocked.
The first thing that he discovered is that the increase in his senses—touch, hearing, sight, smell, and taste—has all been sharpened to a shocking level, but because of the sudden improvement, he is still trying to adapt to it.
He senses something, and he turns his head up. His expression turns solemn as he sees his old enemy, the Wretched Flying Eye, who was defeated by him, and Leon is now hovering above him, afraid of engaging him but not reconciled with his loss.
"Lord Miracle Child, should we?" asks one of the female generals after seeing the Wretched Flying Eye; she is afraid that they would burden him.
He waves his hand and says,.
"Do not worry, that thing is afraid to go down; in fact, I would be happy if it tried to attack; unfortunately, it is just a coward."
He raises his middle finger at it before continuing his killing spree. His Malevolent Tiger spirit was growing stronger with each kill; it is now no longer suppressed by the Thunder Cloud Dragon spirit.
'What is this? Is this what they call the sixth sense? ' Suddenly he had a premonition; he opened his mouth and fired his dragon-tiger roar (Dragon Cry) to the sky.
BANG! The Wretched Flying Eye was caught by surprise; it tried to dodge the sonic attack but was just too unprepared, causing it to take the attack head-on, losing a couple of its fur.
He snorts and looks at the exhausted soldiers; their only job right now is to bring the corpses of the genetic lifeforms that he had killed. He sent Glutton to accompany Leon, and the two are now fighting in the designated location of the Diamond Family.
They want to repay Ersha and Chrystal for their help during the raid. That is why, after killing a large amount of genetic lifeforms in their base, he went to the bases of the government and the Diamond Family and helped them deal with the overabundance of genetic lifeforms prowling nearby their territory.
"Goodbye everyone; share the flesh with your comrades; the seven-day time period is ending; I am certain that my sister will not let such an opportunity to attack pass by." He waved goodbye to them before leaving.
The Wretched Flying Eye actually did not follow him, seemingly afraid that he would attack it.
"Wait!" The generals were too tired to say anything, but after his words finally sink in, they realise that they had not even thanked him for all he had done for them.
Inside the base of the government army, a soldier enters a room. He salutes the figure inside the room and announces.
"Commander, Lord Miracle Child has returned to their base!"
The figure that was screening a map with a couple of individuals pauses; she raises her head and asks.
"How many genetic lifeforms did he kill?"
The soldier takes a couple of documents and passes them to her. He wants to answer her, but his words are not believable enough for them to believe the exaggerated numbers written in the reports, so he decided to give them the report papers instead.
"What!?" one of the individuals in the room shouted as his eyes widen in disbelief after reading the report papers; the number was too unbelievable.
"I think we should change his title from Miracle Child to Relentless Demon of Slaughter," says one of the generals present. His words were quickly agreed upon by the rest of his group.
"Do not do that; if we start calling him that, he might not care, but the warriors of the Oriend Family will definitely fight against our own soldier; they worship him as some sort of saviour, the symbol of hope for them," the commander, Ersha, stated.
"Commander, you had done a great job securing his gratitude; with such an ally, we have a higher chance of keeping our base!" excitedly said one of the strategists.
"I think that it is better to increase our relationship with him; he seems to be a person who follows his emotions rather than his desires; he is definitely a good ally, worthy of befriending," says the main strategist of their army.
"Yes, I rather not want to be his enemies; he seems to be unstoppable. Even that supernatural lifeform was driven away by fear by him and his friend. Too bad, the Diamond Family has created a rather strong connection with him; compared to us, they are in a much higher position." Ersha frowns as she says this.
"What do you mean by that commander? I know that you had no prior relationship with him, but so does the Diamond Family; they should be in the same position as us," asks one of the generals.
Ersha sighs as her expression becomes complicated as she thinks of a certain someone.
"You all should know about the two sisters of the Diamond Family; they are considered polar opposites, but both are prodigies. The younger sister is incredibly naive; she might be strong, but against an experienced veteran, she is clearly weaker; her older sister is different; she is equal to Lady Star and me."
Everyone nods; they are a part of the united alliance of government power; they know such information; in fact, this is considered rather public knowledge.
"In order to protect her sister from her family, preventing them from sacrificing her in any political marriage, the older sister starts giving excuses like she is the lucky charm of their family. There are many people who do not believe this, but still, because they are afraid that their greatest prodigy would turn her back on them, the Diamond Family just let the two sisters be." Ersha finished her stories with a complicated expression.
