"Guguhaa!"
Groaning strangely, a shadow slowly crept over Enix's small round face, making his heart leap.
"Fria!" Enix groaned, his words coming out as something completely different than what he desired.
As months passed and Enix grew to six months old and still looked an emaciated fresh newborn, while his sister had started to crawl around already, he had noticed a spark contrast in Fria from the babies he had seen on Earth.
She seemed rather sensitive and... remarkable!
The most brilliant change in her, from the babies Enix knew, were her eyes!
He had seen a handful of babies to develop his fair share of ideas and opinions over them... and he could vouch that his sister's eyes had no sort of innocent. Heck, there was no gleaming innocence of a baby on her!
Her eyes seemed deep, as if an expansive world was being ravaged in flames and sealed behind her crimson irises.
Suddenly, as she curiously peered down at Enix, her bald head scintillating under the soft yellow light like the back of a spoon, a silly grin broke loose on her face before retracting.
Her one hand dug into the mattress with which she balanced herself and she started to gently smack Enix's tummy.
Despite being light, she still made Enix winch and showing no signs of stopping any time soon, like usual, Enix started his regular routine.
"Uwwaahhhh!"
Seeing Enix start to cry, Fria paused and quickly tried to retreat.
But the thumping steps zooming in at insane speed made her shiver and her face to go beet red.
Before she could even get a few inches away, the door swung open and Mugam bolted in.
Her hair started to float up as she saw the sneaky rat freezing and flumping to her bum.
"Fria... were you, by any chance, annoying your brother again?" As the words pushed out from beneath the gap in her teeth, Fria started to quickly shake her head while crying.
"There, there!" Mugam took in the timid Enix and started to coax him gently.
While glaring at the Fria sniffing and hiccupping as snot trickled down her nose.
"You silly child." Mugam heaved a sigh and carried her in her free arm.
After a while, she sat down and kissed them both on the head, while muttering, "Are you hungry yet?"
A jolt ran down Enix's spine. While Fria gave a gleeful purr.
'It's that time,' Enix gulped, 'The time of... aw~ the best time of life!'
As she pulled out her peaks and presented them. With utmost humbleness and admiration, Enix closed in on them and began his feast.
A warm liquid flowed down his throat, under the relish of which his thoughts wandered, 'Being a child isn't so bad.'
A little while later, after ensuring both the babies had their fills and had dozzed off, Mugam placed them both in their seperate cradles near each other and left.

Two soft and chubby radish arms flapped at the water, splashing it out and drenching the Mugam getting Enix prepared for the tub too.
Mugam scolded, "Fria", causing a feeble whimper to be uttered out from the baby grinning sillyly.
While behaving timid, Fria stopped playing and just gazed at the tub water, at her reflection, in silence.
She was a miniature Mugam. While her 8 months old brother, despite being weak as twig, took after her father with his dull blue eyes and light sky hair color.
Mugam, with extreme delicacy, proceeded to settle Enix in the tub too.
She gently supported him for a while before letting go. Feeling something strange brimming in her heart as she saw him balance himself on his bum.
She froze for a little before smiling and kissing him on the head, "8 months old already huh? You still just look like Fria when she was two months old though."
"I have a surprise for you today, Enix. Today, we are going for a city round!" Her words, spoken in a hurry, and her head turned towards the Fria who had started to pout and grumble, made stars shimmer in Enix's eyes.
'Finally! I have been dying to know more about this world. Especially... especially after seeing our chef! A person with a squirrel tail!'
His hope was high, and his heart wrenched with the prospects displayed in front of him, 'Let there be furries! Let there be furries!'
Enix chanted in his head. And after his mother had bathed him and Fria, rolled them in overprotective clothing, and made them look goofy pampered kids, Enix, for the first time, was carried outside the house!
His house was a mansion, as expected of a duke, and walking past the vast garden surrounding it, and out from the fence marking its territory, Enix peeked from his mother's shoulder at all the servants standing at a side in line.
They were all those who had cared for him and in front of them a carriage was prepped up and awaiting them.
'I had expected the advancements to be poor... from my time in the house.' His glittering eyes traveled past the wooden carriage and towards the two triangle face, black colored white striped jacked-up beasts drawing it, 'But these are something else.'
They had no ears, and a lengthy jaw with a slit for a mouth. They had a terrifying, menacing aura about them. They had more curves than a sportcars on their glistening metal like flesh.
Fria, noticing the piqued interest of both her children and their eyes sparkling with curiosity as they saw the carriage-beasts, smiled, "Those are very strong beasts, called Jwargers, it's not ordinary for them to be even seen as domesticated labour animals. Much less Wheelie drawers... so don't be frightened. They are tamed beasts of our butler, Gruis, our coach man today."
Gruis, dressed up in full traditional white colored butler clothes, bowed slightly and opened the door, "Please madam."
Enix stared at him, 'Head butlers here wear white suits. While the ordinary servants have red uniforms.'
The jwargers looked back and growled seeing the two children causing Gruis to stare back. As the two beasts and Gruis entered a staring contest, a terrifying black aura seeped out of Gruis, making the jwargers whimper and look away.
'What did he do? What was that black aura... why did it feel so... close? Or maybe familiar?' Enix frowned and his heart fluttered, 'Was that magic too?'
As he was dwelling, Mugam stepped inside and ensconced with both of them in her hands.
Meanwhile Gruis took the reins and with a strong tug, the jwargers started to strut ahead.
Mugam, staying strong on her loquacious habit of chatting with her children, started to talk away as they advanced down the royal area to the commoners' side.
"Your father is a duke. That makes you two royalty as well. Despite owning his own duchy, Juggu typically stays in the royal capital. Nobody objects too strongly as he surprisingly maintains it just fine. But he still has to go and stay for some days a week.
"So that leaves the three of us alone in the royal capital, Wana. The capital city of the kingdom of Hawana!
"It is a strong and prosperous kingdom– a part of the Mutuality Treaty and one of its big leaders too.
"Mutuality Treaty... it has enough of supporters as it has opposers. It's simply..."
The gates of the royal area closed, and the Wheelie, with all its eye-catching features, trod amongst the common men and pulled eyes from all around.
Enix's eyes fell outside, and he saw the throng of humans, beasts, and furries all walking around, wearing all manner of clothing, and in all the shapes he could imagine and more.
Their peaches or watermelon making his mouth salivate, and their beautiful perky cakes making him gasp like a dog.
Mugam, not noticing the drool dripping down his mouth, or his trembling body and his fanatical eyes turning red, continued, "The mutual living of all manner of live... equally!"
Suddenly, the excited Enix, from the rush of fantasies zooming past his head, swooned. And fell down from Mugam's embrace.
The world seemed to stop for a while as Mugam's eyes, peeling further with each second, with her smile frozen in some corner of the arctic, stared at the unmoving Enix.
"AAAAAHHHH!"
