Anna found her way out of the mansion. She had nothing on except her nighty and her phone. She wanted to be anywhere but where those two shameless people were. She still couldn't believe what she had heard.
Nari was pregnant for Mack, one tear dropped from the corner of her eye, then came the next and the next as she cried silently on the cold road.
She started running, she needed air, she felt unable to breath. In the past when she felt this way she always ran and would calm down but tonight, her tactics was not working at all.
Maybe because she's never experienced heartbreak before. Nothing hurts more than the man she gave her all to betraying her like this.
Just how long have those two been together? Did Mack really mean what he said? Did he not love her as he had said, after all this years?
Even if Anna had heard everything he said, she still somehow wanted to believe he was lying. She wanted to believe it's all a dream and when she wakes up tomorrow everything will be back to normal.
They'll still get married as planned. She was willing to forgive him for cheating. Maybe he said those things to convince Nari he was on her side when in truth he cared less about her. And maybe Nari isn't pregnant, if there's one thing she knows Nari of is her lying tongue.
Her aunt Kathy used to say relationships we're always like this. 'Men will always be men.' She would say and that it is the job of every woman to endure their bullshit. Your endurance will determine if your relationship will last long or not.
She was ready to forgive Mack for the sake of her family. If she doesn't, no one would marry her anymore and that's her grandfather's greatest wish. To be married.
Anna was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't see a car coming at her in high speed. When she saw the light flicker she screamed closing her eyes tight as she squat to curl herself on the floor at the same time the car screeched as the driver turned his wheel in an attempt to dodge from the person and then...
CRASH!!!!
Anna opened her eyes slowly to the dreadful sight before her, "Huh', She gasped walking slowly towards the car that was stuck to a tree trunk. Her body trembled at the sight of the shattered glasses splattered everywhere as heavy smoke evaporated from the engine of the damaged car.
What has she done? This is all her fault. She has killed someone. She thought as she stepped closer. The driver was trying to dodge from hitting her and then he hit the large tree trunk. Was the person dead?
She tiptoed closer to the now damaged car, "Hello, A... Are you alright?" She asked to see the car window wined down and the face of a man appeared.
Anna held her lips from screaming. His forehead was covered in blood, "Sir please step out I need to take you to a hospital." She said for him to open his car door. He stretched his arms for Anna to take and when she did, he dragged her into the car and locked the door.
The man reeked of the strongest of any alchohol she has had in her life and as his lips crushed hers the strong and overwhelming substance got into her mouth. It was intoxicating.
One moment she was herself and the next she fell unconscious.
When Anna got up the next morning she was welcomed with the sweetest most refreshing scent. The morning sun sipped into the room through the light cotton curtain dancing to the movement of the wind.
Anna couldn't understand how she got here, the last thing she remembered was trying to help that man and then she turned unconscious after he...
She gasped recalling that little detail and tried standing but felt something heavy on her waist. "Hmm." She heard a deep groan and someone pulling her closer. Anna froze.
Was she on another man's bed? Did she sleep with a stranger?
She tried squeezing her thighs, checking for any signs of pain or discomfort and there it was, the slight ache between her thighs.
It had been one hell of a wild night cause Anna could see her night dress littered everywhere, thorn into tiny pieces. She had indeed slept with this stranger.
She didn't know what to feel about this. She wanted to help this man but he had taken advantage of her. Anna got up immediately, tiptoeing to his closet to pick his shirt and trouser as she wore it quietly. She couldn't stay here any more minute for this man to know who she was. It'll be another bad record to her already bad records.
What would her family say if they found out she lost her chastity to a stranger?
The door of the closet opened immediately and a pair of grey eyes stared back at her. His face was cold, his eyes held no warmth as he watched her.
He had a bandage on his head, it must have been from the result of the accident he had. Anna felt bad it had happened because of her. But even with the bandage on his head it didn't make him less handsome.
He looked so handsome and devilish. Something about him screamed danger and she didn't know why she loved every bit of the danger. The devil really did a good one creating a beauty that can only be found in books.
"Are you trying to steal from me?" He asked and Anna's eyes went wide. She wasn't stealing, she was trying to leave. Maybe if he didn't thorn her clothe all around she would have gotten something to wear now.
"W... Why would I do that sir? I... I have nothing to wear since..." She blushed at her words seeing the marks decorated on his body too. She must have done that to him. Just what did they do and why can she not recall a thing?
"Why are you wearing my clothes? I can ask Lurch to get you new clothes."
