...At Salford Hospital...
Through the help of the people that witnessed the accident, we finally found out about the hospital Sebastian was admitted to.
I hastily drove to the hospital, because everyone was very worried about Sebastian"s welfare.
I wasn't happy at all, because it was the same hospital I gave birth to Zoey.
Getting inside the hospital, we bumped into Liam. Liam got to know about the accident through a close friend of his, that also witnessed the accident. He was very worried about his dear friend.
"Liam." I called out his name surprisedly.
"Are you also here because of Sebastian?". He asked.
I kept quiet for some moments, before responding to his questions. It wasn't time for me to act stubborn. I looked at Liam, nodding my head. Zoey walked up to him, while we all waited to here what she had to say.
"Where's he now?". She asked Liam with pains in her voice.
"He was rushed to a theatre. I heard he lost so much blood."Liam revealed.
We were all shocked to hear that, especially Zoey. She couldn't control her tears. Her memories with Sebastian started hurting her the more she flashbacked on them. She knew that he was in so much pain inside the theatre.
"What do we do now?". Zoey asked Liam.
Liam exchanged glances with me, while I approached them. I turned Zoey to my direction, cupping her face. She was very sad and there's nothing that I would say now, that will lighten up her mood.
"This is not the time to cry my darling." I said to her with a sad smile.
She turned away her face, wiping off her tears with the back of her hand. She was so hurt. She really cared about Sebastian so much. While we were still talking, we overheard footsteps that came from Liam's back. It was a male doctor. He tapped Liam from behind, while we directed our attention to them.
"How's he doing now doctor?". Liam asked him worriedly.
"He's still in a very bad condition. He needs blood. All the bloods at our blood bank didn't match with his. He needs a blood donation, and the donor's blood must match with his." Doctor Fredrick revealed to him.
"I will be the donor." I hesitatly said.
They all looked at me, surprised that I volunteered to save Sebastian's life. The doctor shook his head, leading the way. I followed him behind, as we went into a ward. My blood was collected for the donor and it was tested with his, through a blood test. His blood didn't match with mine at all.
Twenty minutes later, I arrived back to Liam and the rest. The doctor revealed that mine didn't match. There wasn't enough time for Sebastian at all. He was slowly giving up inside the theatre.
"Hers didn't match. The patient in there, has minimum of six hours to love, if nothing is done immediately." The doctor opened up.
"No, no. We can't lose uncle Sebastian. I'll donate my own blood then." Zoey said to the doctor, very frightened by his words.
"You'll do no such thing." I stopped her, panting out of fear.
"Why? You heard the doctor. He would die if nothing is one immediately." Zoey panicked.
"Zoey should go. She's the only one that can save Sebastian's life now." Liam said confidently.
Zoey held the doctor's hand, urging him to take her to the ward where her blood would be taken for the donation. After they had left, Jasmine walked up to me. I was very scared at the moment. Liam knew the truth, so he obviously understood the reason behind my fears.
"Are you hiding something from us Bianca?". Liam asked me.
"Why would I?"." I answered him back with a question, giving him a suspicious look.
The doctor was out of the ward within few minutes. He returned back to us, to finally spew the result of the donation. I was surprised to see him back alone. I wondered where Zoey was at the moment.
"It was a success. Her blood was the only one that matched with his."Doctor Fredrick said to us with a smile.
"Thank you almighty." Liam said to himself, doing the sign of the cross.
"So where's she?". I asked him worriedly.
"She's resting. She's on a drip. You can head over to ward 511 to visit her." The doctor said to me, leaving.
Jasmine held my hand tightly, while I took in a deep breath. We headed over to the ward to see her.
Liam waited at the waiting room, to receive any new information about Sebastian's health.
Getting there, we entered inside the ward. Zoey was fast asleep on a bay. Some drops were injected into her viens through a syringe.
I sat down next to where she laid, smooching her hair gently. I already knew that her blood would obviously match with that of Sebastian's. Jasmine sat down next to me, watching Zoey's face.
"She really cares about that man." Jasmine said to me.
"She's also on this situation because of him. My poor daughter." I said, looking at her face.
While we were still talking, we heard footsteps at the entrance door. I looked up, and it was nurse Rhoda. I was shocked when I saw her.
"Bianca Mowers." She called out my name, after recognizing my face.
"Nurse Rhoda?". I asked to confirm if it was really her.
She nodded her head in confirmation, walking up to us. She was wondering why was I was here at the hospital. She looked at the young girl that laid beside me. She couldn't guess wrong at all.
"Is she your daughter?". She asked me.
"Yes. She's all grown now." I replied her.
"So she was the one, whose blood matched with the patient at the theatre room?." She muttered to herself.
I gasped out of frustration, rolling my eyes away. She folded her arms, looking at me. I wondered why she was staring at me now. It really made me feel very uncomfortable than I already was.
"That young man looks very familiar with the man on the passport that you gave to late Doctor Florence Eleanor." She revealed.
"What are you talking about?". I asked her surprisedly, pretending like I had no idea of what she was driving at.
"The man at the theatre is your child's biological father. I already knew this from Doctor Florence. She told me everything before she passed on." Nurse Rhoda revealed to me.
I exchanged glances with Jasmine, while we directed our looks at Nurse Rhoda now. I was shocked that she knew the truth all these while. That was a secret between I and the former doctor Florence Eleanor. I felt very choked by this revelation of hers. Jasmine was also surprised like me.
"I'm sure everything that happened today was fate and it was bound to happen." She added.
"All that happened today had nothing to do with fate at all." I shunned her angrily.
"Lower your voice, Zoey is asleep." Jasmine cautioned me.
I shook my head, already irritated by nurse Rhoda's words. My ears had heard enough, and I just wanted her to leave immediately.
While we were still in a tensed condition, I heard a tap on my shoulder from behind.
I turned my head backwards, and it was Zoey. She heard everything. I was shocked to see her awake. I was very doomed at that very moment. Everyone inside the ward was also shocked. She kept looking at me, directly into my eyes.
