Chereads / REUNITED WITH MY EX: My Toxic Ex Fiance / Chapter 20 - "BACK TO BIRMINGHAM"

Chapter 20 - "BACK TO BIRMINGHAM"

My luggages were ready and I was off to the park to board a bus to Birmingham. I had lied to Zoey, that I was traveling for an important project. Only Jasmine knew the reason I was going back to Birmingham. I was going back to my parents, to find out how they have been coping without me. I missed my family so much and I wanted to see them again, after fifteen years of being absent in their life.

Jasmine and Zoey saw me off at the park. They helped me with my luggages and it really helped a lot. The bus to Birmingham arrived in an hour's time, and I was about to say my goodbye to Zoey and Jasmine.

"I'll be going now. Zoey be a good girl while I'm off for the meantime." I advised her.

"I'll miss you so much mum." She cried out, hugging me tightly.

"She's only staying for three days." Jasmine said to her, dragging her out of my arms.

I nodded at Zoey, assuring her that I'll be back soon. She finally allowed me to go, and I waved at them for the last time, before getting into the bus. My mind was all at the welfare of my parents at the moment. It was a hard decision leaving my child behind, but I felt like it was not yet time to reveal her to everyone yet. I went along with the ring Sebastian gifted me, because I wanted to wear the character of a married young business woman.

If my family and that of the Kurtz happen to see a ring on my finger, they would have no right, to question me about my past. They will only call me an ingrate. I didn't have enough time to purchase for a ring, so I had no choice but to go with the available ring, which was Sebastian's.

The ring was beautiful without doubts and it fits my finger perfectly. Everyone inside the bus with me, couldn't stop admiring the ring.

★★Birmingham City★★

Eight hours later...

I was already off at the bus stop, after getting to Birmingham. I boarded a taxi, that took me over to my home.

"Knock, Knock." I knocked on the front door.

"I'm coming." An unfamiliar voice said from inside.

I took a deep breath, waiting for the door to be opened before me. Someone opened the door, while I stared at the strange human before me. It was a young lady within my age grade. She was average height and looked like an interracial. I wanted to see my mum standing before me, and not someonelse. I tried entering inside, but she stopped me from doing so. I was surprised by her swift move, and I tried again, but she restricted from doing so.

"Who do you think you're to stop me from going into my house?". I asked her.

"Is that a joke?, This is my house." She replied.

"You're a clown I must say." I replied her, laughing at her words.

"The people that used to live here before relocated to somewherelse, after this particular house was auctioned by the Kurtz." She revealed.

I bulged out my eyes full of surprise. I couldn't believe my ears. I forced myself into the house, to find out for myself. She was saying the truth, because I could see a different family in there, and not mine. My parents were gone and our belongings too were gone. I got to know about all these by the young lady. I couldn't stop venting my anger out on the Kurtz. Sebastian knew about all these mess, and kept quiet about it. My hatred for him increased, and all I needed was just to confront his family.

I lodged myself in a hotel, where they checked me in. After retiring my luggages into the room I booked, I took a cold bath, before going over to the Kurtz mansion.

I dressed up in a casual dress and I looked so natural. I wasn't going for a party, neither was I going over there to please anyone.

Getting there, I barged into their mansion, heading over to their living room. Luckily for me, they were all present at the living room. My presence was like a shock to them, and they weren't expecting to have me after so many years of hiding from them.

"Bianca?". Mrs Kurtz asked surprisedly.

"Yes it is me. Are your surprised that I won't come to find out about your wickedness?". I asked her.

"You should be apologizing to us." Hazel added.

"For? I guess you all owe me an apology either. You auctioned my home in my absence." I replied with an angry tone.

Mrs Hazel took some few steps towards me. I wasn't afraid of her unlike in the past. Her eyes caught up with the ring on my finger and she wondered if I had moved on so fast. She picked up my hand, staring at the ring on my finger. I dragged out my hand from hers, very mad.

"You're married now? Such a bold step." She mocked me.

"I'll make sure I get back my parents house back which you auctioned."I challenged her.

"Oh finally you knew about that?". Try your best darling." She said, giving out a cunning smile.

I walked out of the sitting room, exiting myself from the Kurtz mansion. I met Liam on my way out, and he followed be behind. He stopped me, surprised to see me again, after so many years has passed. I had nothing to say to Liam at all, and it was sad he was still acting like Sebastian's little puppy. Liam pleaded with me, to visit a cool place, where we would have a good conversation with each other.

Liam was very happy to see me again and no doubts, he was still very much in love with me.

**At a confectionery**

We were served some nice chocolates and sweets at the confectionery. It really tasted nice and it was a nice way of distracting me from the whole frustrating situations.

"It's nice meeting you again Bianca." Liam said to me with a smile.

"I'm speechless Liam. Lots happened in my absence." I broke down again.

"Please don't cry Bianca. It hurts me so much, whenever I see you in tears." He consoled me.

"Where on earth are my parents?". I asked out of the blues.

Liam finally found out the reason behind my sadness. He couldn't watch me crying, so he finally had to help me out by revealing to me all that happened, after my home was auctioned.

Liam lended me a handkerchief, while I appreciated wiping off my tears. My tears were uncontrollable and I couldn't just stop crying.

"Your cousin Abram was the one with your parents, after you disappeared." Liam exposed.

"He took them to his home. I guess that should be London." Liam added.

"Yeah, his parents live there. Thank you so much Liam." I appreciated him, by giving him a big hug.

Liam could feel butterflies in his tummy, and it have been a long time he received me in his arms. Liam wished that the hug was unending. He loved the scent of my cologne and my perfume. Liam rubbed my back gently, and it really helped me so much. I have moved on from poor Liam a long time ago but I didn't know if it was same for him. We rounded up our sweets, and reminisced on the past.
