★★The Next Day★★
I woke up feeling so different and I couldn't understand my hormones this early morning. I was feeling nauseatic, sick, swollen and an intensed feeling of throwing up. I have been in my bedroom curled up with a fluffy blanket.
Jasmine noticed my absence and was forced to enter into my room to ask about me. She saw me shaking my body beneath the blanket as she hurriedly approached me on the bed where I laid.
"Bianca are you okay?". She asked me.
"I'm fine, just a little fever." I replied her.
"Let's visit a hospital then."She suggested.
I nodded my head agreeing with her suggestions while she helped me come down from the bed. Leaving the bed, I started feeling nauseatic thing again and this time, I ran to the mercies of the bathroom where I knelt before the white sparkling toilet before facing my head inside vomiting. Jasmine entered into the bathroom feeling a bit surprised. She stood at a corner watching me.
When I was done throwing up, I stood to my feet washing my mouth at the washing hand sink. Jasmine threw a face towel to me while I caught it, using it to wipe off my wet face and mouth.
"This is very strange bestie." Jasmine said.
"Jasmine please not now." I replied her with a low tone.
After having a slight breakfast my appetite could carry, Jasmine escorted me to a nearby hospital where I ran some tests and did few check-ups. In a hour's time, the results were ready and we were called into the doctor's office. We sat down on two chairs facing the female old but beautiful looking doctor before us.
"Doctor can we know what the result said?". Jasmine asked worriedly.
"Congratulations to your friend."She replied her.
Jasmine exchanged eye contacts with me, while I looked at the doctor being extraly worried now. The doctor handed the result to Jasmine while she handed a test strip to me which was among the tools used to run some check-ups on me. My heartbeat raced faster and I couldn't stop feeling all sweaty. I held the test strip with cold hands while I stared at it. Oh my it was double lines.
"PREGNANT?!!!!."We both screamed out in unison.
"Yes it is a baby bump on the way." The doctor replied us.
After seeing the doctor, we left her office heading back home. Jasmine couldn't stop staring at me and I already knew her mindset. I was very down and confused. Abortion was the only thing in my mind at the moment.
Returning back home, Jasmine dragged me to the sitting room like she was my mum. I stood infront of her very speechless. She felt like scolding me but I held onto my ground ready to face whatever.
"Why didn't you tell me you gave your body to that beast?". She asked me.
"I'm sorry, I was compelled that night."I said in tears.
"Oh my...I feel so sorry for you bestie."Jasmine joined me crying out.
She pulled me into her arms comforting me and also promising to stand by me during this hard times. I told her about thinking of removing the child but she shunned me immediately. She promised to raise the baby together with me and it was going to be a secret. Nobody will know about the baby or the baby would be taken away from me either by my family or the Kurtz.
"I seriously regret this Jasmine." I sobbed in her arms.
"Bianca there's no reason to cry. It's not your fault, but that of Sebastian." She replied, cuddling me in her arms gently.
★★Birghingham★★
Mother was at our balcony going through the family's photo albums and taking glimpses of my childhood photos brought her to tears again. She really missed my presence so much. I was her only little baby and she felt she was also at fault for losing me. She couldn't save me when I needed her the most. Abrams my cousin from the Wills had been in our home since my departure. He had been the one comforting mum all these while I ran away from home. He could hear traces of noise from the balcony and he knew mother would be there sobbing again.
"I miss my little baby Bianca. Where's my only child and daughter?". Mum asked to the air.
"Aunt June please stop crying." Abrams
said from the entrance.
"How long have you watched me cry?." She asked him.
Abrams approached mother, sitting next to her on a wodden swing couch. He peeped into the photo album staring at my childhood pictures I took with my parents. He really wondered why they sold me off to the Kurtz irrespective of the fact that love once lived here. Mother rested on his shoulder while Abrams wiped off her tears with the tip of his fingers.
"She felt betrayed Aunt. The only people she called family abandoned her when that beast was always beating her. Oh my poor cousin." Abrams said in pain.
"She should forgive us already. I know we were wrong."Mum said.
"With time she would come back." He comforted her.
On the other hand were the Kurtz having a family discussion at their sitting room. Sebastian didn't care about the whole situation 'tchw'. He crossed his legs at the sitting room fixing his eyes on a daily news magazine before him. While his family chatted he blocked his ears with some earpods that played some warmly musics that soothes the soul. Hazel and Oliver siblings to Sebastian noticed he was carried away by the magazine on his hands.
"Sebastian! Sebastian!!." Hazel called out his name but no response.
"Brother! brother!!." Oliver joined.
Mrs Kurtz got very irritated and upset by Sebastian's nonchalant attitude and decided to take the bull by the horns by walking up to him. She pulled out the earpods blocking his ear streams. Sebastian looked up staring at everyone. They were giving him some nostalgic feeling because of how those eyes shot out to him.
"What's wrong with you Sebastian?." Mrs Kurtz asked him.
"What did I do now?".He replied naively.
"Unfortunately this is the heir to my company someday. Someone that takes life very unserious." Mr Kurtz said disappointedly.
Mrs Kurtz returned back to where she sat before while Sebastian heaved out a heavy sigh. He requested to know which topic they were on before. His family ignored him while the conversation was brought up again. This time around, Sebastian decided to listen to the conversation and find what it was all about.
"We have to save our faces at the company." Mr Kurtz said.
"Exactly father. The Mowers need to bring back their daughter." Oliver added.
"Why are you all stressing out on this again?
She did us a great favor by leaving." Sebastian added.
They ignored him making it seem like he was just saying foolish things as usual as his words weren't adding up at all. Sebastian was already getting tired of the whole "Bianca news" already. He had to keep his butt still and just go on with the conversations because it was not like he had a choice but to listen.
