In Aiden's room
Aiden finally woke up from his sleep.
"*yawning* Good morning, Aria- HUH?"
Arien said as he saw Aria, who was bare naked watching TV.
"WHAT EVEN IS THE CONTEXT OF THIS?"
Screamed Aiden.
Aria turned around with her bagged eyes as if she hadn't slept at all the whole night.
"Ah master its becouse my mana had worn out and I cant make clothes. Please belive me I am not a pervert and i don't go to night clubs, please belive me master."
Said Aria as she started to cry, clearly traumatized by her childhood memories.
"Huh? Master?"
Said Aria as she saw Aiden, who had a blank expression as he was watching straight into her.
His eyes were an abyss, his expression non-existent. His face literally yelled nothing. He was watching straight at Aria as if trying to peek into the depths of her soul. The intensity of his gaze, devoid of any discernible emotion, created an eerie atmosphere, leaving Aria feeling as if she were being observed by an arcane force. The silence that accompanied his stare spoke louder than words as if Aiden's attempt to see beyond the surface held a mysterious force.
"What did you say?"
Aiden had finally come to the world of the living. The reason as to why Aiden was like this was because he took a mental image of Aria, just like a camera taking a photo never to be deleted.
Aiden got to his wardrobe and pulled out a black hoodie and black sports shorts that he gave to Aria.
Aria wore the outfit and then told Aiden about his training.
"I had gathered enough information now lets put it all into practice."
Said Aria as she smiled.
IN THE MANSION'S UNDERGROUND STADIUM
"WHO EVEN HAS A STADIUM IN THEIR BASEMENT?"
Screamed Aria.
She asked Aiden about a small room that they could use to train, but she didn't expect him to show her an underground stadium as big as a normal village.
"When I was young, I asked Dad to drive me and my friends to the playground so we could play football but he said that he has no time so he build this."
Said Aiden, not finding anything unusual.
"Is this so. . . well, I expected something bigger. . . but I guess that this will make the job."
Said Aria as she bid her finger, trying not to sound like a poor, unholy forest girl.
"Now Aiden tell me everything you know about magic."
Aria got serious.
"Magic is a super natural power in the air that you use to cast spells and stuff."
Aiden could only say what he knew from books like Harry Potter and his Harem Novels.
"*Sigh* So you don't know nothing."
"First Magic is not supernatural at all. Magic or mana is a life force that exists in every single human with different individual properties just like genes."
"Second, you don't use your surroundings as fuel to "cast spells". You need a generator, and this generator is your very own soul."
Said Aria as she pointed her finger towards Aiden's chest.
"Third, saying "casting spells" is the wrong word. . . It's more like translating."
Said Aria.
"What? Translating?"
Asked Aiden in confusion. What could the white-haired woman mean by "Translating"?
"Let's say that Mana is your thoughts. Now Aiden try to say what you think but not translating your words to any language."
Aiden waited for a few seconds.
". . . I couldn't."
Said Aiden, confused.
Aria smirked, lifted her hand above the air, and opened her palms.
"That's right if you only use mana as a thought then you could never succeed in using mana as a wepon, you need a language and this language is your ELEMENT."
Said Aria as she screamed in the end and blasted a little hot air with her hand.
"If I had mana I would've summon a big fire ball."
Said Aria with a sweating face.
"So you are saying that I need an . . . language?"
Asked Aiden with an excited face.
"You don't need an element. You already have it. Just like your hands, you get them at your birth. You first need to learn how to create thoughts or how to generate mana."
Said Aria.
"First, before I teach you how to use states and your named and unnamed techniques, you need to acquire mana."
Said Aria as she added Two more words that Aiden didn't know about.
"Named and unnamed techniques?"
Asked Aiden in confusion.
"This is a lesson for another time. First, we have to make you generate mana. There is two ways someone could generate mana."
"The first is by bringing the human body to its absolute limits, it's like creating another muscle or growing another organ, but for you . . . "
Said Aria as she took a look at Aiden's short and skinny body, wondering how the air hadn't already blown him out as if he was just a piece of paper.
Aria twisted her head in a slight disappointment.
"The second way is through a trial."
said Aria.
"Trial? You mean like a challenge? From who?"
Said Aiden in confusion.
"From your alter ego."
"???"
"There are two types of sorcerers,"
Aria explained, her voice carrying the weight of mystical knowledge.
"The first type is from a divine lineage. Elders pass down techniques and ways of obtaining an alter ego, guiding their successors in the intricate paths of magic. The second type consists of commoners, born outside of the Sorcerer Society, who unexpectedly awaken an alter ego through accidents or extraordinary circumstances. This is exactly how your superheroes got their powers,"
said Aria.
"??? But there are superheroes who use powers that have no connection to nature or something close to nature,"
Aiden said, expressing his confusion, thinking that elements could only refer to something like fire, water, and wind.
"You understood wrong. Element is just another word for 'concept,' something like flying, super strength, and even gambling can be considered an element,"
Clarified Aria. The broadening of the term "element" to encompass various concepts highlights the versatility and diversity of powers that can exist within the realm of sorcery, transcending traditional associations with natural elements.
She continued, delving into the essence of alter egos.
"An alter ego is a manifestation of an emotion within a person that is brought to the absolute limits and evolved into a distinct entity. It's a magical reflection of the intense emotions that define us, taking on a life of its own and serving as a conduit for powerful sorcery."
The profound revelation hung in the air, unravelling the mysteries of the sorcerous world for Aiden.
"You are from the second type Aiden. You already awakened an alter ego."
Aria disclosed.
"Then?"
Said Aiden, his voice tinged with anticipation.
"We just need to enter your domain and ask your alter ego for a trial."
Said Aria as she pointed at Aiden's head, indicating that they needed to enter his domain, which is located in his brain.
"If we want to enter your brain, you need to learn how to surround yourself in mana while maintaining a specific level of force output."
Aria explained. The use of more straightforward and modern language clarifies the instruction, making it more accessible for Aiden to grasp the intricacies of the magical process.
"Won't I need mana for this?"
Asked Aiden.
"It seems that you are starting to get the situation,"
said Aria with a small smirk.
"If we were in a normal situation, it would be impossible. But luckily, we already have a generator."
Aria added, pointing at the majestic white onehanded sword. The revelation of the sword as a mana generator added a new dimension to their capabilities, presenting a solution to the potential hurdle of mana requirements for the journey into Aiden's Domain.
