Julia's POV
I put the wet plate on the rack and sighed. She hasn't eat. Stir the food as if she whined to get something she wants. I'm looking at my back and scoffed. Ironic, doesn't it? You in love with someone, but you can't get her.
She still in love with her ex and wants him back. I griped on the edge dishwasher and closed my eyes. Remember to what your dad told you, Julia. Let her go, come on! You can do this.
"Hey," she's hummed. I turn my body facing her and leaned my back on the fridge. "What if... I help you to get back to him?" She lifted her head, widen her eyes.
"What the..."
I raised both of my hand and approaching her. I cooked fettuccine alfredo for dinner, now the pasta is cold. I'm not expect she will eating it, but it's just a waste. "Let just... get it straight, okay?" There's no other way to motivated her.
"I... accidentally eavesdropping your... conversation with him at that bar several days ago." She widened her eyes, and her face turned to pale. I know they violated the company rules, but it will hypocrite if I said I oblige the rules.
"I-I'm sorry, W-we... we..." She looked down. Oh, God... I know it's already fucked between them. Now, she should decide, resigned or job transfer to another branch. I took a deep breath, and I don't want to do that.
Even thought it will hurt me, at least she's happy. Her happiness is my priority. "Listen to me carefully if you don't want to lose your job," she lifted her head and looked at me.
"How!? Now Jane already know who am I! She..." She covers her face and sobbing. "Now, you already knew my secret! My life is already fucked! Oh, my God... I will lose my job." Marco was right. At least he right for one thing about her.
Her feeling was too sensitive. I close my eyes, clenching my jaw and took a deep breath. Breath out, breath in. Remember, she's a woman. If you don't want to get bad omen, just patient with her.
I sit next to her and pulled the plate. I can eat this pasta, after that wash this dirty dishes and opened a bottle of wine while waiting she's done crying. "You will help me, right?" I'm looking into her eyes.
Her swallowed eyes and dry tears can been seen clear. "It's depend what do you want me to help?" She took a deep breath, sighed. I let he to think because I can't forced her to say yes. At least, I try to make her happy.
She leaned her head on my shoulder and surround her hand on my arms. "Ms..."
"Call me Julia." I said as I take a bite of this pasta. Olive Garden, should be hired me as a chef. Cecilia took a deep breath and whine.
"How?" I put my fork and scratching my hair. Honestly, I don't know how to help her to get back to him, at least...
"Clean yourself up." She furrowed her brow. "I mean... let me be your sponsor. I have a friend, he will help you to clean yourself." We stared to each other eyes. This is the first time I can see clearly what's inside her blue eyes.
A shattered heart, depression, and lost hope. "I-I don't know..." she supports her chin with her hand as she drinks a bottle of vodka. I scoffed and rubbed my face roughly. "It's already over and... maybe I will resigned to my job."
I massaging my temple. Does she knows what happened to my company after she took a leave?! I picked monthly report from Marco, passing it to her. "Read that. Is this all your quality? Rumor said, since you joined this company, you always rewarded at the end of the month, and now... I don't see it in you,"
I put the dirty dishes on the dishwasher and took a deep breath. I want punch my hand at the wall, right now. Argh... fuck!
None of us wants to speak right now. I don't want to lose her because... she's my crush. She's the reason I believe in love again after that bitch ruined my life.
Besides, It's impossible for me to leave this company, then joined another company. My dad already built his company with his blood, sweat, and tears. A billion of dollar spends to safe this company. I took a deep breath and leaned my back.
"Is that true we..."
"You can called him and asked how scared they losing their job." I said. I'm looking at my wrist watch and sighed.
I standing up and tidying up everything. I forgot to pour the wine, besides she already drunk with a bottle of vodka. "Are you want to leave now?" I'm nodding my head as I grabbed my helmet.
"You should get some rest and... think about it. I'm not forcing you to leave or resigned, but... you should know, I'm not available for 24/7." She chuckled and shook her head.
"You're funny." She said. Okay, walking slowly and get out quite. Whatever the choice she choose for, I should accepting it no matter what. "Julia," I'm looking at my back. "Thanks for tonight. I... appreciate it."
I'm nodding my head and try to control my emotion. Glad you like tonight.
Cecilia's POV
She opened the door and leave. I took a deep breath as her steps fading away. I'm looking at the monthly report in front of me. Should I... resigned or not? She wants to help me, but why? Why she wants to help me?
I put the report on the barstool and looked at my surrounding. Quite. I walked to the living room and looking at a half-filled bottle of vodka standing on the table as if called me to chugged it again.
Huff... there's no way she was there, or... I'm looking at her sneakers on the armchair. That shoes worth thousands of dollars, and I... can relate if she doesn't want to lose it. It's Balenciaga! Who doesn't know that fancy brand?
I walked to my bed and lay on the top of my dirty laundry. I took a deep breath and looking at our photograph. Should I trust her? She came alone, cooked me a dinner, and brings me a wine to drink on, but... she decided to not to drink it with me.
She left that bottle and... maybe I should asking her for help to get him back to me. I don't know what's her plan, but... she never mention it's for the sake of the company, right? Argh!
My head wants to explode and now... I'm overthinking about it. I pulled my blanket and covers my body and hugged the picture. I hope I can decide what I should do next tomorrow.
