Looking at him, Kara saw no trace of shock on his face but a bright face full of smile which only means one thing, that is he knew that she was working here and was going to give him a tour.
" Did the CEO have an agreement with him,... For how long has he been an investor to the point of even earning the CFO as a position",
Kara made sure she acts professional and not get swap by the handsome face she once knew.
'Strictly a business tour'
Kara repeated those words in her mind and walked up to him in a cool and calm manner and hoping to speak that way too.
"Mr Vario"
Kara said in calm voice which she was happy about because of her calm and cool expression.
"Welcome to Ben Digital Based company Inc"
Smiling with one brow lifted walked closer to her which created butterflies in the pit of her stomach, then Vince Vario whispered;
"you would have to save me the pressure of calling me by my last name when we are outside the building"
She wasn't sure if it was the fact that he was so close or the fact that the thought of him being the father of her child was what caused the increase in the butterflies going round her stomach.
It wasn't her fault that she loses control during their brief affair which lead to her condition now, but he wanted her complete surrender in the bedroom. The thought of it stirred a wave of nausea and she felt dizzy for some seconds.
" Mr Ben is tied up in a meeting and quite busy, I was asked to show you around",
Kara said since she wasn't sure of why the CEO will pick her to as his tour guide.
" I was informed which is why I requested that you take his place ",
Vince replied and she became sure of the fact that Vince knew that she was working here and also meant to show him around. The question now is does Mr Ben know about their past. It seems someone was hearing their conversation,because when Kara looked behind him, she saw the Clara the receptionist mouthed an
'oh my goodness, you guys know each other'. "
Well,.. shall we start", Kara said briskly.

Vince said in his thick French accent which she almost got carried away with. Kara turned on her heels and started with the description of the three floor building owned by the company.
The few time she spent with him, Kara knew that Vince was basically an intelligent guy and wouldn't need any of her description,he was the type to investigate before taking any action. That's how good his IQ was and not just his physique.
When they were done touring the the fourteenth floor, they stopped in front of the elevator. Vince made a suggestion of taking the stairs but Kara's doctor warned her of over stressing her self in other not to caused more harm to the baby which was under weight even at seven and half month old.
They stepped into the empty elevator,and immediately the door closed behind them, Vince pressed the hold bottom of the elevator and turned his attention to Kara.
"Mon Cheri,..it has really been a long time",
Vince said in a soft voice, at that point Kara's heart skipped so many beats,but she acted all strong
"Just two or three months, not so long",
She said as if she didn't know the clear estimation of how much time has passed.
Bigger chance,she has the greatest reminder growing in her womb,letting her know how long it has been since the last met.

Vince corrected her, Kara eyes were fixed on the Hold button that was still in contact with his finger.
"its better we start going, before someone will think that we are stock",
Kara suggested but it seems Vince is not ready to buy that as an excuse.
"not all will think that way, majority will think that its slow then others will believe ",
Vince defended his act without letting the button go.

Taking his other hand to her face to stroke her cheek.

Kara looked at him and the strength to remove his hands from her suddenly disappeared.
