It was normal for Sophia to always be pushing out her pheromones since she didn't have control over them. He was used to holding back and ignoring the part of himself dying to respond to the silent message she unknowingly sent.
He had figured her strong scent was because the alcohol was relaxing her but her blushing face and heavy eyes were indicative of something else entirely.
Considering she had only just established as an omega, her first few heats could be unpredictable.
Dr. Miguera had offered to put a pheromone tracker on her as well but Luca adamantly refused. The thought of anyone being able to spy on her even if it was his most trusted doctor made Luca feel unstable. He didn't think Sophia would like it either so he declined on her behalf when she was sleeping at the hospital.
"We should get a room here for the night," Luca told Sophia, not wanting to alarm her quite yet.
