Chapter 19: Sisters' Reunion (3)

The fresh couple returned to the shrine.

"As you can see, there's a need for re-introduction," Benjamin faintly smiled, his hand behind Estelle's wolf ear, scratching it with content. It was so warm.

Standing abreast of him, Estelle glanced at her older sister shyly before plastering her eyes to the floor. She didn't shy away from her boyfriend and tugged on his shirt, but it was another matter with Moon, whose stare held her.

The youngest wolf priestess couldn't directly look into her eyes!

It was embarrassing, after all.

Benjamin continued in her stead, "The past month of living only with Estelle has turned me attracted to her, and I genuinely want to hold her in my arms. Those feelings are still budding, and there are many question marks, but they're not one-sided, and we have much to prove to each other. In this coming time, I swear to take care of her and teach her what she's been missing while locked in the shrine. I count on your help, Moon."

While those words were genuine, there was something clearly lacking in them. Anyone would have been able to guess what it was, but Benjamin believed he was honest and said enough.

Relationships were mainly fun for him.

It was so nice to hold women in arms. It was a part of nature.

Benjamin, therefore, candidly said he was attracted to Estelle and would naturally treat her differently than other women, even if his heart wasn't in such a deep love that he would do anything for her.

In fact, Benjamin hadn't said that he loved her because it was just an affection and natural attraction orchestrating him to take up Estelle as his girlfriend.

Both of them were so young that they could give this relationship a go and then decide later if they were meant for each other.

Estelle was similar. Her feelings of affection were so new that she perhaps must have misunderstood them as genuine love, but in reality, she had fallen into the trap of living alone with another man.

Had Benjamin been a woman, Estelle would have become best friends with him instead.

For better or worse, Benjamin was a man, and she grew naturally interested in him and imagined doing stuff she had read in romance books with him.

The fact that Estelle hadn't thanked him for saving Moon and taking care of the shrine yet somewhat proved this point.

Kindness though may have been written on her all this time, Estelle's loneliness and responsibilities sometimes outweighed her natural disposition, and she pushed more of her selfish desires onto others instead.

Benjamin wasn't so surprised by that and just swore to himself to be responsible in this relationship. She was quite younger than him, so he'd give her free rein for now.

He was also keenly observing Moon and getting more confused about her as she spoke with her youngest sister.

'Was that a fleeting sadness? Yes, it must have been it… Investor's Keen Eye caught it,' Benjamin put a poker face as he studied Moon's reactions to his re-introduction. 'I don't get what her other feelings are… it's something I haven't experienced in my life since my skill doesn't help me… what is she?'

At first, Moon was relieved to have seen that Estelle had returned quite fast to the shrine. Benjamin was with her, too, so she had wordlessly thanked him for taking care of Estelle. Things seemed to have changed a little when Benjamin introduced himself again.

"I can't believe my little fluff is about to become a real woman ahead of me!" Moon wound her arms around Estelle and pushed her little head into her bosom.

Being past her twenties had stuffed more softness into Moon's chest, meaning Estelle needed a lot of determination to survive in her older sister's nest. Since she herself had quite an ample front, Estelle must have sucked a lot of air to go through the soft torment.

It's been so long since Estelle had heard and felt Moon that she pushed aside her embarrassment and allowed her to attend to her.

Meanwhile, Moon and Benjamin once again held each other in glances. This time, Benjamin noticed hesitation, confusion, and even slight fear in Moon's hues.

That translated into him getting so confused about her that he raised his hand and gestured, 'What?', turning Moon into an expressionless doll as she threw her eyes back to the fluttering wolf priestess in her arms.

Estelle then broke the hug and raised her crimson face at her, "M-m-me can't do that stuff yet!"

Moon chuckled, "Ah, why not? You're already an adult, aren't you? I missed your tender teen years, but I won't let myself fall asleep with my little fluff growing up into a sexy priestess."

"S-s-s-sexy?!" Estelle gasped and choked on the air. She then went on her toes and whispered to Moon's ear, "Can I be sexy?"

"Lacking confidence? Just follow your sister's style, and you will have his eyes all on you!" Moon explained and patted her still ashen, emaciated, but bare shoulders. Even in such a state, she was loyal to her style and tied her kimono at the waist while the rest revealed her assets.

Her nape of the neck, shoulders, cleavage, thighs, and long legs must have stirred the hearts of many men and believers back in the shrine's prime.

Estelle put credence into her sister's confidence and nodded.

Although she hadn't trained as much as Moon and had only started building her muscles, Estelle was confident she would be able to sculpt herself to her beloved's preference.

When she had been taken over by the liberated soul, Estelle had heard what Benjamin liked in women, and those were well-sculpted and toned thighs. He kicked a lot, so that made sense.

Estelle was now his girlfriend, so she naturally wanted to cater to his preferences. Her kindness and budding affection were like adrenaline or fuel to her newly found ambition.

"Have you thanked him for saving me?" Moon asked. What Estelle requested was something no normal human would ever be able to achieve, and it could be said that it had been one of many absurd requests.

Realizing her mistake and that she had been only thinking of herself, Estelle leaped from her older sister's side and threw herself into Benjamin's arms, her eyes tearful.

"Thank you, Benjamin!" Estelle showered her boyfriend with the widest smile before apologizing to him.

Benjamin accepted it wholeheartedly, "It was fun, you know."

"Fun?" Estelle tilted her eyes, confused.

Benjamin sneered, "I played some of the football, my younger self's dream."

"What is football?" Estelle asked.

Behind her, Moon recalled Benjamin's game, and her eyes seemed to have received stars as she turned to look at him.

She had been so odd that Benjamin didn't know what to make out of her personality.

Does she have a weak mindset?

What is her weakness?

What drove her to be nearly devoured by the foreign soul within her?
