Shan Tian felt her hand tremble when the single drop of tear flowed into her palm.
Shan Tian stood up and wiped her hands with a piece of clothing as if she had just touched dirt.
She then turned around but after taking a few steps she paused and said, "Lock her up in one of the dungeons. She's going to be auctioned"
Han Jin's eyes widened but before she could say anything, the men dragged her away and threw her into a dark and dirty dungeon. At least, they untied the rope around her body.
"Let me go! You can't do this to me! Hey! Get me out of here, I...I don't...", Han Jin couldn't complete her sentence. She knew that she had to stop screaming, this people didn't seem like good people who would let her go.
She hugged her arms and slowly sat on the floor, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Was she really going to be sold? Did everything have to come to such a state? What if she ended up being sold to a wicked or bad person and ended up dying again?
No... this was a second chance, she wasn't going to just sit back and watch her life get destroyed.
She was going to find a way to escape no matter what. It was better to give it a try than to just sit back.
Han Jin didn't know how long she cried or when she fell asleep.
She woke up the next morning with a headache.
"You're awake", Shan Tian glanced at the tiny girl squatting on th toe floor, she seemed so fragile.
Han Jin heard the familiar voice and raised her head. She could feel her body trembling when she met the woman's eyes.
Han Jin could sense how dangerous the woman was and that was what instilled her with fear.
Even through the darkness, Shan Tian could see the bright eyes of Han Jin. Han Jin had very attractive eyes, her greenish eyes looked sharp and bright.
Shan Tian didn't know why but she seemed to care about this girl who was a total stranger to her. This was a feeling she had not felt for so many years so why had it crawled back into her?
Who was this girl who had managed to make her experience this feelings upon their first meeting.
"Why...why are you going to sell me? Please let me go, I never did anything wrong to you. If you let me go, I promise, I'm never going to show up in your life again!", Han Jin's voice was hoarse and soft, she could feel her eyes brimming with tears.
"I'm sorry, I just can't let you go", Shan Tian then turned around and walked away without looking back once.
Han Jin wiped away her tears, she wasn't going to sit back anyways. She had a plan in mind and she hoped that it would work out.
Later in the afternoon, Black Dog opened the door of the dungeon and walked in holding a tray of a few dishes.
He couldn't help but glance at the tiny figure sleeping in the corner, she seemed cold.
Her face was so delicate and innocent and for the second time in his life, he could feel butterflies in his stomach. The first time was yesterday when he had just laid his eyes on her.
"Big brother...", Han Jin's voice was so soft that Black Dog's heart missed a beat and he almost dropped the food in his hands.
"Were...were you calling me?", Black Dog face turned red when he turned to face her.
Han Jin looked at him, her eyes filled with complete innocence and cuteness. Her long eyelashes trembled and she blinked at him innocently.
"I'm thirsty, can you get me a cup of water", Han Jin stood up and strode towards him. She held his hand and looked at him in the eyes.
"Of course! Right away!", Black Dog run out, his heart racing so much that he forgot to lock the dungeon.
Black Dog returned only to find the dungeon empty with no sight of Han Jin.
"What?!!", Black Dog dropped the cup of water in his hand. He realized that he had been tricked!
'WTF! I have to find her immediately before anyone gets to know that she's missing'
Black Dog thought to himself and stepped out of the dungeon.
Han Jin didn't know if luck was on her sight but she had singlehandedly managed to escape without anyone noticing.
She didn't dare to stop for even a second even though she was tired. She knew that they would definitely have noticed by now that she was missing.
After running for a very long time, she finally found herself standing in front of a huge building.
It was almost evening and the place was getting darker. She didn't know what building this was but going inside would be safer because her kidnappers would definitely be looking for her.
She had not been so sure that her plan would work out but it actually had.
Han Jin didn't think twice before rushing into the building.
She planned on hiding here and then continue her journey the next morning.
Han Jin was almost speechless when she realized what kind of place she had entered.
She could see that most of the men were either royals or rich merchants.
This was a place where this men came to have fun and pleasure.
Han Jin was disgusted and decided to find a quiet place to hide until the next morning.
Han Jin had climbed a few steps but the next moment, she felt someone's huge palms around her waist and she was immediately dragged into a room.
