Elijah opened his eyes, finding himself inside a dark space, with nothing but silence. Elijah wondered and started walking. As he reached 10 meters from his current position, he saw a barrier stopping him from going further. 'So it's true,' Elijah thought.
The Physical dimension was connected to his body, but it wasn't the only power it had. The time flow inside this space was twice as fast as outside, meaning that 1 minute outside is 2 minutes inside, increasing his training speed by two times. But the problem is that he doesn't know how long he could last here.
Elijah smiled and opened a slight space outside so that if anything happened, he could return to his body in a flash. "It's time to reach the Expert realm," he moved into a stance before his body glowed with a silver aura.
Outside, Kai was still cleaning his sword. A little time passed as he looked forward and asked, "That staff can control the weather?"
Julia stared at him, a devilish smile appearing on her face. "Look who wasn't loving the silence. Hehehe, now you want to start a small talk with me."
Kai was annoyed, but he didn't show it on his face before Julia replied, "For your question, no, it doesn't control the weather, it just enhances my capabilities. Also, did you ask Elijah where we are going?"
They had been wandering around the forest for some time, and she was getting bored."Yeah, but the monster knows where, so just wait," Kai answered her and thought, 'She did that much damage, how much is that artifact enhancing her?'
"Wait my ass, and if you even think of taking us somewhere your friends are, then you are going to be sorry." Lightning cracked on her staff, making the bear afraid.
At that moment, Kai's eyes became sharp, and his sword was unsheathed in mere moments, covered in the dark element. It cut a bullet in half along with the one that targeted Elijah.
A little part of the bullet injured the bear monster as it roared. Elijah awoke with his eyes open, reading the expression on Kai and Julia; he understood that a fight was before them.
"Thanks," Elijah spoke, already sensing the bullet coming for him and knowing that Kai would protect him. His eyes sharpened as a silver aura surrounded his being. 'That attack had an extreme level of mana control,' both Kai and Elijah thought.
The control reached the point that even Elijah could feel the energy around the bullet, and after understanding that energy could be changed to another form of energy, mana started becoming clearer in his eyes.
Many people now don't even use weapons like a gun to fight, knowing how hard it is to control your mana with it. Only those gifted with the ability to control mana freely could, and this person before them was one of those people.
"Who's there?" Elijah shouted, sensing his ki from afar. 'He targeted us from that far,' he was shocked.
"That damn bastard hit our ride," Julia shouted, anger visible in her voice.
"Wait, what, our food was injured," Elijah stared at the bear and saw a small hole in its right leg. "That bastard." The two dashed forward at lightning speed.
"Wait, wait, wait…" the young man's voice rang out as shots moved in the blink of an eye. But the two were able to avoid and even deflect the bullets before Elijah dashed to the right and Julia to the left.
At that moment, the bear showed a worried expression, seeing how those two monsters saw him, and Kai just sighed, shaking his head. "Sorry, please."
From afar, light struck, and an explosion happened. Kai stared in front, inquiring, "Can you still walk?" The bear started walking and looked clearly at the wound that the bear had just been grazed.
"Good, but if you start feeling any pain, you can stop," Kai advised, but the bear wasn't about to listen to him even a little, knowing very well that the point it gives up…
Elijah would eat him while Julia would be the one cooking him. In his heart, that fear kept him moving, hoping for the best.
The bright, beautiful sunshine struck the land below, making the forest around them shine with a beauty that few could ever comprehend. The wind sang a song that only those of peace of mind could hear, but none of that could be heard by the three.
A young man with black hair and eyes looks to be around the same age as Elijah. We could have said his face was handsome, but at the moment, he was beaten to a bloody pulp, with his hair standing straight like they were hit by lightning.
The young man was tied up, with Julia staring at him with dead-shot eyes. "You're lucky our ride can still walk," she spoke.
"Yeah, you shouldn't have missed. I wanted to eat him," the bear shivered from Elijah's words, praying inside for that outcome to never come to pass.
"So who is he anyway?" Kai questioned and then answered himself. "Never mind, I don't want to know. Just take us to the nearest town, city, or village." Kai was laid on the bear's fur, being much more comfortable. Elijah stared from a tree, his eyes fixed on the young man, and chuckled.
"That aside, I'm impressed by your control. It's on another level," Elijah commented and added,
"My name is Elijah, the scary girl beside you is Julia, and this drunkard is Kai." Elijah joked around, with Julia being the only one who reacted.
"Who are you calling scary? I'm a flower," Julia stood straight, showing off her assets along with her beauty, which all the guys there nodded, knowing that she was extremely beautiful even among their ages.
"Yes, but the one that kills," Kai teased, with his eyes still closed.
"You dumb swordsman, that's why you're a virgin," Julia retorted with a smirk, but what Kai said destroyed her.
"Says the girl who's never had a relationship, or a man who wants to f*ck her." Julia's anger boiled, but she knew that Kai won this round.
"I'm not a hole that has sex with anyone. Either way, the man who will touch me is the one I will marry," she replied and stayed quiet, annoyed, and figuring out a comeback.
"Hahahaha, don't listen to those two. Anyway, what's your name?" Elijah asked, his kind smile making the young, beat-up man open up a little.
"Adan… Adan Winston," Adan answered, without knowing that his fate changed the moment he met the person before him.
The whole galaxy would be turned upside down from his presence alone, and being a part of him, the path he took has now become even more difficult and rewarding. Fate played its game without anyone knowing as Elijah's smile grew.
"Adan, huh," he stopped for a moment and added, "What do you guys think of Adan joining us?"
Julia frowned and spoke, "Are you trying to create some kind of group or cult?" She questioned, to which Elijah just laughed.
"Yeah, seems like our little group is increasing. But can we trust him?" Kai questioned before answering Elijah.
"Yeah, it will be alright, and Julia will keep him in check if he thinks of doing that," Elijah replied with a smirk.
"Wait, why me?" Julia showed a confused expression.
"Because we are too lazy to do it ourselves," a lightning bolt hit them both after finishing their words.
"Idiots."
