Chapter 60 - Chapter 60: Meaty Meat

Behind the manor, a beautiful garden stretched out like a verdant tapestry, bathed in the soft glow of twilight. It seemed enchanted, as if nature itself had woven a spell over the landscape.

The air was heavy with the sweet fragrance of blossoms, and the gentle rustle of leaves whispered tales of ancient secrets. But amidst this tranquil scene, an unsettling discordance lingered.

In the midst of the garden, a young man stood, his once athletic frame now swollen and cumbersome, like a titan risen from slumber.

His jet-black hair cascaded around his face, framing obsidian eyes that seemed to devour the world with an insatiable hunger. Elijah, for that was his name, seemed oblivious to the beauty surrounding him, consumed instead by the voracious appetite that drove him.

Plates crashed to the ground behind him, a cacophony of shattered porcelain amidst the serene melody of nature. Each impact sent ripples of disbelief through the gathered onlookers, their gaze transfixed upon the spectacle unfolding before them.

The chef, a blur of motion, darted back and forth with trays of food, yet Elijah's hunger remained unyielding, a bottomless pit demanding to be filled.

As Elijah continued his relentless feast, the once tranquil garden seemed to recoil in horror, as if even the enchanted atmosphere itself was shocked by the gluttony on display.

Each chew echoed like thunder in the stillness, disrupting the harmony of the night and casting a pall over the serenity of the surroundings. And yet, despite the dissonance, there was a strange allure to Elijah's presence, a primal energy that captivated and repelled in equal measure.

The woman with golden hair stared with a shocked expression, thinking a person could eat this much, along with Julia by her side, experiencing something new to her. She knew that Elijah had an almost endless hunger, but this was on another level really.

Levi just stared with colder eyes, visibly angry, with Adan smiling and stretching his head. A chef came from the house as Elijah finished eating the last of the food he had brought and said, "Sir, we have no more food."

Releasing some air, Elijah inquired, "But I still smell food," his eyes sharpened as he stared at the chef.

The chef scratched his head with a worried expression, "The food that is left is for the young Miss Stella and your friends," he explained.

Elijah just nodded and said, "Okay then." He felt his whole body being heavy, so he lay down as the sound of something heavy hitting the ground sounded.

"That wasn't even enough to fill my stomach," Elijah spoke with a tired voice.

'What!' That was the only thing that everyone thought as they started hearing Elijah snoring, having fallen asleep.

"That's what you meant by 'you will regret it if he keeps eating'," Adan inquired to break the cold silence.

"Yes, but this is on a different level," Julia said.

"He has ...…" Stella couldn't even put it into words.

She heard a sigh beside her before hearing Julia speak, "Sorry for this, he doesn't know manners."

"That's okay, I am the one who invited you here, so it's the best I could do," Stella said.

Adan just shook his head, "Then let's sit."

"Food," Elijah spoke while sleeping, "Meaty meat."

This was the breaking point for the butler, who was always calm and collected, being also cold-hearted to others, but this was just disrespectful, to himself, his master, and what he stood for. Anger was building up inside him.

Levi's killing intent exploded like a tidal wave as his hand rose in a mere moment, and he punched out at a speed to which none could react. He was furious, and he knew it was better to teach this kid his place before doing anything.

But before the fist even touched Elijah, he showed a distorted smile that only Levi noticed.

The pressure of the Fist mark destroyed the table and traveled toward Elijah, hitting his fat body as it sent him flying, destroying the plates which weren't removed, the garden, and finally a small house at the back where they were having their dinner.

BOOM!

Levi almost laughed out loud, not because Elijah flew through the garden and got hurt, but because this young man controlled him like a book. Elijah seemed to have known his personality and worked on bothering him in such a manner. 'You wanted this, didn't you?'

A wide smile appeared on his face as he stared at the woman who held cold eyes like the abyss, as clouds started forming above the manor. Lightning covered her body as she held daggers at his neck, prepared to kill him at a second's notice. Her hair floated behind her, with lightning cracking as her killing intent exploded.

"What are you doing?" Julia's cold voice sounded as she spoke. "I know what he did was disrespectful, but you have no right to do that."

A pressure fell, as killing intent was released, her anger running wild as a fight was about to break out. Adan moved to protect Stella, who just stood shocked. 'Levi, did you lose your cool just like that?'

She found it impossible that Levi, her butler, would lose his cool so easily, even when people were throwing stones, shouting, or disrespecting her; this never happened.

Their plan, which the butler created, would be ruined just because of this.

Adan, on the other hand, was having a difficult decision on his hand. He didn't want to become enemies with Elijah and Julia, but he also couldn't allow them to hurt Levi, who was Stella's father-like figure.

He stood there, wanting to say something, but he knew that saying anything would just mark him as an enemy. But he knew that it wasn't avoidable, so he decided to support Stella before a person's cough started being heard.

"It took you long enough to act. I was getting bored, you know," Elijah's calm and excited voice rang out.

"Why didn't you just act? I would have just followed," Levi said.

"Huh, you know, that would have been a better plan, but I also wanted to see if you also had the same feelings,"

Stella believed it was true. Levi couldn't lose his cool this easily, even if his action held some of his anger. Deep down, his attack was also started because he just wanted to see how strong Elijah was.

"HAHAHAHAHA," Levi laughed as the dagger on his neck lowered.

"HAHAHAHAHA," Elijah also laughed as his figure could now be seen. His devilishly handsome face with black hair and eyes, a body that could only be admired from afar as his muscular figure came back, his muscles being well defined.

Julia just snorted before the cloud stopped forming and her daggers disappeared as she didn't say anything. She didn't even stare at Elijah, being extremely angered at the moment.

'That's a cute expression,' Elijah thought.

Stella and Adan were relieved, but Stella was relieved but also shocked seeing the expression on Levi's face. 'Is that really him or someone else?' She really doubted herself now.

"Okay then, let's move to somewhere much more suitable for a fight then, young man."

"HAHAHAHA," Elijah just laughed, his smile becoming distorted. 'It's been some time, some time indeed.'

The Amazon woman defeated him like it was nothing, and with his now stable power, he felt like he could put up a fight, at the very least. He wanted to test it out, to find a person who could really make him go all out, except for Kai.

But the only way Kai could do that was him entering that form, but he couldn't last long, being less than 2 minutes. So it was useless fighting him, and Elijah was just itching to find someone he could burst upon. "Let's go, old man." Elijah and Levi disappeared.
