*Indianapolis, in a large three story mansion*
An angry woman screams loudly, scaring away every bird within the vicinity outside.
"Another one of my inventions turned into worthless scrap! Damn it!"
A butler walks into the angry woman's room ready to assist.
"Is there anything I can do for you Miss Vivian?"
"It's Vivi!"
Vivian screams at the butler as he stands unphased just awaiting her instructions. Her usual sleek black hair all messy from her outburst covers her face. Causing her to blow it out of her way. Then as she starts at a poster that holds several metal skeleton beings, she begins getting an idea.
"James, ready an excessive order for a bunch of spare parts."
"What for Miss Vivian?"
"I've got another plan in mind."
"Shall I inform your father you are unavailable at this moment?"
"My father? What does he want?"
"He wishes to speak to you."
"Tell him I'll be up momentarily."
"At once Miss Vivian."
As James turns to leave, Vivian shouts once more at James.
"It's VIVI!"
Vivian sits in her chair that sets before her large computer system. Before pulling a lever which activates a rising platform under her. As the chair begins ascending the roof opens above her. Placing her into her room on the first floor. Her chair being set in front of her wooden desk. She hops out of the chair and walks over to her bed and lowers to her knees. Pulling out a lockbox from under it.
She removes the key necklace from around her neck and unlocks the box. As she opens it, she pulls out several photos of Max. Picking out a specific one, with Max and her smiling in formal attire. She turns it around revealing numerous amounts of tally marks.
"Today marks one hundred and fifty failed attempts."
Vivian sighs as she marks another tally onto the photograph. Before placing it back into the lockbox.
"I will get my revenge on you on day, Max Dorkins. But it seems today was not the day."
As Vivian walks out of her room, she walks down one of several halls. Passing rooms such as a ball room, a piano room, a theater room and more. As she reaches the entrance parlor she looks up the stairs and travels up them. Before hitting the split paths, she precisely takes the left path as her fathers work study is that direction. After walking through another hallway, she finds herself at a pair of double doors. Vivian knocks before entering.
"You wanted to see me father?"
A sharply dressed man, with lush medium length curtains, sophisticated glasses and a elegantly sharp suit. Stands up behind his desk.
His quiet stare and slightly serious face burn into Vivian's face.
"What is it you need, I'm quite busy you know."
He stood quietly for a moment still staring. Until at an instant, like the flip of a switch his attitude changed.
"Oh! My precious baby girl! You're so rude to your father, and all I ever want to do is show you my love!"
Vivian's father, Victor Vans is what we call an obsessive father.
"Don't you ever want to spend time with your father anymore."
"I have more important things to do these days."
Victor holds his chest like an arrow was shot into his heart.
"W-Wounded by my own daughters words."
Victor falls to the ground with tears in his eyes.
"Will you stop!"
"How can I when my own daughter hates me so."
Victor lays on the ground holding his left backhand against his head and a grip on his chest.
"GAH! Why do you always have to be so dramatic!"
Vivian quickly attempts to leave the room before.
"Are you still trying to deal with Max?"
She stops with her hand on the doorknob.
"No, of course not I've stop caring about him long ago."
She quietly caresses a small scar on her left cheek.
"Well good, I want my daughter to be happy. Obsessing over ones who don't care about you is pointless."
"Yeah... Pointless."
Vivian exits her fathers study as he watches her walk out with a calm look on his face.
As she steps out into the hallway, James her butler is waiting on her once again.
"GAH! James! You scared me!"
"My apologizes Miss Vivian, but I was standing present. May I prepare a new outfit for you?"
Vivian looked down at her clothes. She's been wearing her wrinkled up suit for the last few days as she hasn't left her underground lab for a while.
"Y-Yes James, but once again its Vivi."
"At once Miss Vivian, shall we go with something that goes well with your violet eyes? Or are you feeling something different?"
"You know what..."
Vivian sighs heavily.
"I'm thinking of something other than a suit. I'd like to wear something formal yet casual. I'm thinking about taking a stroll."
"At once, shall I prepare a escort."
"That will not be necessary, I want to be alone."
"As you wish Miss Vivian."
James walks away to prep Vivian's outfit and other necessities.
*Max's House, Two Days Later*
"GRAAAHH!"
Max rubs his hands into his hair in frustration.
"Why is this getting so frustrating I can't think of anything good for this finale. I want something unique! Not already overdone!"
"Why don't you do some sort of-."
"I've already thought of that, but it doesn't fit."
"How do you know what I was already going to say?"
"Because you say it every time. Time travel this, time travel that."
"I mean time travel usually makes things more interesting. What can I say."
Max sits trying to think even harder
"Say, whatever happened to that Emma girl you were with. Did you guys break up or something?"
"Break up? Do you think I date every girl I'm around?"
"Yeah you're right, there's no way you'd even think about dating Jen Jules."
Both Max and Josh thought about Jen for a second before shivers ran down their spines.
"But seriously, where is she? Aren't you suppose to be working with her or something?"
"I don't know ever since I-."
"Oh f***ing hell what did you do."
"Well I, I mean... She."
"Asked you about the bleeding nose thing didn't she."
"Yeah! I mean what was I suppose to do!"
Josh set down his cereal bowl and sighed.
"Look Max, the time between you and Vivian its long over. You don't need to keep-."
"Josh stop, please I don't want to hear it."
Josh sighed once again.
"Look all I'm saying is, give this girl a chance who knows maybe you'll be a dynamic duo or something."
"A dynamic duo? Do you hear yourself right now."
"What! Can't everyone be a dynamic duo?"
"Like Batman and Robin?"
"There you go! Pull out some of that I am vengeance!"
"Where is she!" Max says in a deep grumbled voice.
"To the batmobile!" Josh follow ups with also in a awful deep grumbled voice.
Until suddenly a knock at the door took the attention of both of them.
"Can you get that, I'm too busy trying to think."
"Aw come on, I'm eating right now!"
Max stares at Josh while he continues munching on his bowl of cereal.
"Do you eat anything else?"
"Why would I? You've got like an endless supply of cereal."
"That doesn't mean you can eat it all!"
Max sighs and stands up from his desk. Walking over to open the door as he opens the door he stands there surprised.
