The moment that door closed and Solution found herself in an empty white world, her poker face faded; the maid collapsed with quivering legs, biting her lips and recalling all the newfound sensations she had experienced for a whole hour.
"My core is still feeling it. He kept teasing it over and over..."
Her body began to melt slowly and the sense of alarm shrouded her mind, in this white world what would happen if she didn't make it back?
She turned around and the other door towards Nazarick was there, open... everything inside it was white, all she had to do was cross it and yet... her legs felt like they wouldn't move.
Dragging her body across that white world, it began to melt and flicker between her original bluish and deep crimson, a burning sensation engulfed her very soul and although it was not an uncomfortable feeling, it was not the right time and place for it.
"Ugh!" She groaned and crawled.
[How unexpected... for you to have attained a mutation after the session was finished, no... you haven't yet attained it, but if you're a bit lucky... what hindered you? shame? duty?]
That voice entered her mind as the burning sensation all over her body became more prominent.
'S-Shame...? You're right... How could I? How could I let him see me like this?!'
Her biggest sin would be to show weakness and vulnerability in front of her enemies. And until the supreme beings decreed so, that was what Ray was, an enemy.
For dozens of years, she was nothing but a killing machine, that was what she was created to be. That was all there ever was. Even as a 'maid' a member of the Pleiades, her maid duties were almost nonexistent.
Only when someone had to die the most gruesome death... only then would Solution Epsilon be mobilised; until today. Today's task had proven to be the most difficult she had ever experienced.
To keep her composure in front of Godly pleasure was the hardest task of her life.
[It makes sense that you would evolve, Solution. You're a low-tiered being but the session quality was also X2, it should have been enough to make you evolve. You should thank your master, Ains Ooal Gown, for his sacrifice... since you can't keep yourself together, I shall assist you on your way out].
Just when she collapsed a golden aura engulfed her and moved her along the white tunnel when her consciousness was faint enough to enter slumber at any moment.
The colour kept flickering like the palpitations of a heart between blue and crimson red, until she crossed that gate.
On the other side, far away into the skies, the Eclipse was about to finish. The inhabitants of that world wondered what was going on, such an astronomical event wasn't unheard of, but... what was that ominous eye? what is it looking at?
The Supreme Being, Ains Ooal Gown had looked at the sky for the last hour waiting until finally his servant manifested from the door. What he and his entourage saw, however, was something that could be easily misunderstood.
"Ains-sama-" Those were the now red slime's last words before collapsing completely and melting.
"Solution!" The rest of the panicked maids came to her aid, but she had already passed out.
'It felt so good!~' Sadly, Solution's master didn't catch on to that last part of the message she had to deliver.
"They dared!"
Before the door could close, his eyes closed and an ominous aura spread out of his body as well as his floor guardians, Momonga extended is hand towards the portal and used a high-ranking spatial spell.
*RUMBLE!*
A dark portal manifested exactly in the same spot where the other was, overlapping it and yet completely unable to form itself.
CHAA!!
Two mighty laws of space collided manifesting in the form of golden and black lightnings, blocking one another in place. A small shockwave spread across the land and the whole environment turned tense and heavy. The fluttering leaves amidst the wind slowed down and the birds flying in the skies seemed to freeze.
"As I expected. It works the same way. Two spells of the same category can disrupt each other. Albedo, Demiurge, Shaltear and Cocytus... with me. Aura, Mare and Sebas protect the Pleiades"
"Ha!".
The Lich's crimson eyes shone as all of the floor guardians instinctively took their positions in front of him.
[What are you doing, Ains Ooal Gown?]
The voice in his mind no longer sounded amicable, the outraged came out of the eye beholding from the skies but the monarch of Nazarick knew not fear.
"You dared to harm one of my servants. God or not, do you think you can just leave as if nothing happened!?"
[… you shouldn't have done this]
A golden shockwave spread from inside the transdimensional gate, spreading across the land and sending chills down his very bones. With a single sweep, the dark gate that had been deadlocking the golden door shattered like pieces of feeble glass.
*BOOOMMM!!*
!!!
'My spell was defused by a higher-ranked one!?' His gate exploded and he received a minor backlash.
"Ains-sama!" His servant, Albedo, noticed his shock and raised her head only in time to see two bodies coming out of the golden door.
"Oh my… everything was going so well… you had to mess everything up" the goddess with ten tails giggled, looking around this brand-new world before her eyes.
'It must be because of the last evolution but I can leave Japan now… the Leylines aren't holding me back, how wonderful~' having given a brief look to the world, Yasaka's gaze then moved along those present in this place that resembled some sort of eerie mausoleum.
There were plenty, all of them emitting powerful auras stronger than any Youkai she had ever seen in Japan. Perhaps before her two consecutive evolutions, as a nine-tailed fox, some of them could have given her a hard time.
But that wasn't the case anymore.
"Floor Guardians!" Albedo commanded with rage and five of them stood in front of the two goddesses that had just appeared from the door.
Yasaka and Elysir didn't put those floor guardians in their eyes, instead, they firmly glared at the Lich standing behind them. The Egyptian Goddess' gaze moved between him and Solution who was being tended to by the rest of the maids already melted and unconscious.
A simple gaze was all she needed to put all the pieces together and understand what was going on, but still... a simple explanation wasn't enough to make up for what had occurred.
She raised a single finger.
"You are Ains Ooal Gown, Solution Epsilon's master, correct? My name is Elysir and I'll give you one minute. If in sixty seconds you have yet to apologise... I'll obliterate this area. Apologise or run, your choice"
