Kurenai followed closely, casting a genjutsu that made the enemy see their worst fears. One Jonin, caught in the illusion, screamed and clawed at his own eyes, unable to escape the terror. Horyu used the distraction, slashing his throat in one swift, brutal motion. Blood gushed from the wound as the body fell.

Asuma faced off against a Cloud Jonin, their blades clashing with sparks. Asuma feinted to the left, then drove his chakra blade deep into the Jonin's side. The enemy gasped, eyes wide in shock, before collapsing.

Nejitargeted a Jonin trying to flank them. He closed the distance in an instant, striking the Jonin's vital chakra points. The Jonin collapsed, paralyzed, as Neji delivered a final, lethal strike to his heart.

The Aburame Jonin released a swarm of insects that overwhelmed an enemy ninja, the bugs burrowing into his skin and devouring him from the inside out. The screams echoed through the battlefield before abruptly stopping.

Horyu continued his relentless advance. He faced another Jonin, who lunged at him with a kunai. Horyu sidestepped, grabbing the Jonin's wrist and snapping it. He then drove his sword through the Jonin's stomach, twisting it to maximize the damage. The Jonin's scream turned into a gurgle as blood filled his mouth.

Seeing their comrades fall, the remaining Cloud Jonin tried to regroup. Horyu wouldn't let them. "Asuma, Kurenai-sensei, keep them off balance!" he ordered. "Neji, flank them from the west. Aburame-san, Yamanaka-san, secure the perimeter!"

Asuma and Kurenai pressed the attack. Asuma's chakra blades cut through the enemy ranks with deadly precision. He decapitated one Jonin, the head rolling away as the body collapsed. Kurenai used her genjutsu to disorient another, allowing Asuma to deliver a killing blow to the heart.

Neji, guiding his strikes to their most vulnerable points. He targeted another Jonin, his fingers a blur as he struck vital chakra points, leaving the Jonin helpless before finishing him with a swift strike to the temple.

The Aburame Jonin used his insects to disrupt the enemy's movements, the bugs swarming over another Jonin and biting through his flesh. The Jonin fell, writhing in agony as the insects tore him apart.

With the Jonin taken care of, the rest of the enemy was quickly dispatched. Horyu and his team moved efficiently, each strike lethal and precise. The camp was soon empty, bodies littering the ground.

"We've secured the area," Kurenai reported, her voice steady despite the bloodshed.

Horyu nodded. "Good. Gather anything useful. Burn the rest."

The team spread out, collecting weapons, scrolls, and any valuable intel. Asuma found a stash of explosive tags and kunai. "These will come in handy," he said, passing them to the Aburame Jonin.

Neji scanned the camp for hidden compartments. He found a concealed cache of food supplies and medical kits. "Over here," he called out, drawing the others' attention.

"Take what we need," Horyu instructed. "Leave nothing for the enemy."

The team worked quickly, piling the remaining supplies in the center of the camp. Once everything of value was secured, Horyu stepped forward, his hands moving in a series of seals. He sealed everything in a few dozens of scrolls and used "Fire Release: Great Dragon of Fire" A wave of fire surged from his hands, engulfing the camp. The intense heat reduced everything to ashes within moments, as the flame dragon roared to heavens.

"Let's move out," Horyu ordered. "We've done enough here."

As they left the burning camp behind, the team maintained a silent but alert formation. Horyu led the way, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of pursuit. Kurenai and Neji flanked him, while Asuma, the Yamanaka and Aburame Jonin covered the rear.

In Cloud Village, chaos erupted in the Raikage's office. Lightning flared everywhere, destroying anything it touched. Mabui cowered in a corner, her face pale with fear, as Bee stood in front of her, protecting her from the stray bolts.

"I will kill him!" A roared. The office was in shambles. Papers, furniture, and even walls were scorched and shattered. Not long ago, while A and Cloud were still dealing with the rumors, a devastating report had arrived. Their base in the Rain Country was destroyed. All their shinobi were killed, and their supplies stolen. It had been so swift and brutal that there was no clue who did it. But who could it be but Horyu and Konoha?

Bee held up his hands, trying to calm his brother. "Bro, raging won't bring them back. We need to plan our next move."

A's eyes blazed with fury. "Next move? Those Konoha bastards! Horyu! He will pay for this!"

Bee nodded, staying calm despite the tension. "Yeah, but we need to be smart. We can't rush in and make things worse."

A's fists clenched, lightning dancing around them. "This is an insult! An attack on Cloud! How did they even manage to do this?"

Bee sighed. "They caught us off guard. We underestimated them. Now, we need to regroup and think strategically."

A punched a nearby wall, sending cracks spiderwebbing across its surface. "Strategically? I want them dead!"

Bee placed a hand on A's shoulder, speaking firmly. "And we will make them pay. But if we act recklessly, we'll lose more lives. Let's get our best minds together and plan a counterattack."

A breathed heavily, his rage barely contained. "Fine. Call a council. I want every detail on Horyu. We'll find a way to crush him."

Bee nodded and turned to Mabui, who was still trembling. "You heard him, Mabui. Get the council together. We need a full debrief on the Rain situation."

Mabui quickly left the room, her relief palpable. A continued to pace, the lightning around him gradually fading as he tried to control his anger.

"Bro, we need to stay focused," Bee said, his tone serious. "Konoha got one over on us, but we can't let this slide. We need to be ready for anything."

A stopped pacing and faced Bee. "We will be ready. And when we strike back, Horyu and his village will regret ever crossing us."

Bee nodded, his face set with determination. "We'll make sure of it. But we need to do this right."

A's anger was so palpable that lightning crackled on his muscled body. "I will kill him with my own hands!"

Bee stood firm, trying to calm his brother. "You can. But the second you enter the battlefield, the other villages will stop holding back too. Up until now, it's been skirmishes, not a full-blown war. But if we involve Kages and Jinchuriki, there is no turning back. The Daimyos don't want that. They just want the Land of Fire to know the four villages can still trample them."

A's eyes blazed with fury, the lightning around him intensifying. "So, we do nothing? Let Horyu and Konoha get away with this?"

Bee shook his head, his tone serious. "We don't do nothing. We plan. We hit back smart, not just with rage. Remember, bro, if we rush in, we might lose more than we gain."

A punched a nearby wall, the cracks spider-webbing across its surface grew even bigger. "Smart, huh? I want them to pay now."

Bee placed a hand on A's shoulder, trying to anchor him. "And they will. But think about our people. We can't afford more losses. We'll gather our best minds, find a way to strike back that won't make us look reckless."
