Lisa woke up later than usual the next day because she got back home late last night and had a lot of work to do at the office. She quickly got dressed and headed straight to work. Once she arrived, she promptly finished the tasks she couldn't complete the day before.
Lisa sat at her desk, diligently working on the tasks she had for the day. Suddenly, George barged into her office without any warning.
"Lisa, what is this? These numbers are all wrong! You need to redo this entire report!" he said, clearly upset.
"But sir, I double-checked the figures and they're accurate. Is there something specific you'd like me to change?"
"I don't care! Just fix it! And make sure it's done by the end of the day!" Lisa felt a knot forming in her stomach, but she knew she had to stand up for herself.
"Mr. George, I understand that you're unhappy with the report, but I've reviewed it thoroughly. If there are specific changes you'd like to see, I'm more than willing to make them. However, I would appreciate more constructive feedback rather than being told it's all wrong."
"You think you can talk back to me? I'm your boss, and you'll do as I say!" Lisa took a deep breath, reminding herself of her determination and self-worth.
"With all due respect, sir, I believe in maintaining a professional and respectful work environment. I'm committed to delivering high-quality work, and I would appreciate clear guidance on how to improve rather than being belittled."
He seemed taken aback by Lisa's assertiveness, but he quickly regained his composure.
"Fine, if you think you know better. Just get it done, and make sure it's perfect this time!"
Lisa nodded, determined to handle the situation with grace and professionalism.
"Thank you, Mr. George. I'll make the necessary revisions and ensure the report meets your expectations. If there's anything else you'd like me to address, please let me know."
George huffed and left her office, leaving Lisa feeling a mix of relief and empowerment. She knew that standing up for herself was the right thing to do, even if it meant facing some resistance.
Lisa walked through the front door as she got home after a long day at work, feeling a sense of determination to make the house a little brighter because George had fired all the workers in the house and she had to clean everywhere all by herself. She decided to start by cleaning up,
As she carefully dusted the shelves, her hand brushed against George's beloved flower vase, causing it to slip from her grasp and shatter into pieces on the floor. Lisa's heart sank as she stared at the broken fragments, realizing the consequences that awaited her.
George stormed into the room, his face twisted with anger and frustration. He glared at the broken vase, then turned his piercing gaze towards Lisa.
"What have you done, you clumsy fool?" George sneered, his words dripping with contempt. "You've never appreciated anything of value. This vase was a masterpiece, something you wouldn't understand."
Lisa's eyes welled up with tears as George's insults pierced through her. She had always tried her best, but it seemed like nothing she did was ever enough for him.
Feeling overwhelmed, Lisa rushed to her room, seeking solace in the privacy of her own space. She closed the door behind her and collapsed onto her bed, tears streaming down her face.
"Why did my father get me into this marriage?" Lisa whispered to herself, her voice filled with anguish. "I thought things would be different, that I could find happiness. But all I've found is pain and humiliation."
At that moment, Lisa couldn't help but blame her father for the predicament she found herself in. She felt trapped, suffocated by the weight of the contract marriage and the constant belittlement from George.
As she wiped away her tears, Lisa made a silent vow to herself. She would find a way to break free from this toxic situation, to reclaim her independence, and pursue a life where she was valued and respected.
With renewed determination, Lisa took a deep breath and began to think of the steps she could take to change her circumstances. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready to fight for her happiness and a future that she deserved, and with that she decided to go make something for herself to eat.
As she entered the kitchen, her stomach growled in anticipation. Lisa opened the fridge, contemplating her options. She decided to whip up a delicious stir-fry with fresh vegetables and tofu, her go-to comfort food.
Just as she began chopping the vegetables, she heard the front door creak open. It was George returning home after a night out with his friends. He stumbled into the kitchen, clearly intoxicated.
Lisa's heart sank as she saw George's disheveled appearance and the strong smell of alcohol emanating from him. She knew that this wasn't the best version of him, but she remained calm and composed.
"Hey, George," Lisa said, her voice filled with concern. "Are you okay? You seem drunk."
"Don't you dare talk to me you little gold digger!"
He dragged her and she fell on his chest, He started kissing her aggressively, his left hand threaded in her hair licking her from her face to her nipples, he played with her boobs very roughly and then he went down to her navel...
"Put me down this minute, George! She yelled. George ignored her and took her to his room, he started licking her all over again and before she knew it she felt his fingers in her, she kept pushing him and screaming but he didn't leave her until he was satisfied
"Get out of my room right now!" He shouted With tears streaming down her face, she hurriedly left the room, overwhelmed with self-disgust. She cried throughout the night until exhaustion finally allowed her to drift off to sleep.
