Chapter 4
After running home and locking the door, both girls hid themselves under the bed.
"Rebecca, will the monsters follow us?" Anna said, shaking with fright. Rebecca assured her that they would be safe. After a while, both girls looked at each other, thinking about the body floating in the river. Is it alive?
Remembering their parents' teachings about helping those in need, they felt like they let their parents down.
In a world devoid of anything, a young man was seen floating around, trying to figure out what was going on. He felt like he had been floating for eternity. Then he saw a speck of light in the distance.
He tried moving toward the light, but it wasn't easy. After much trial and error, he finally succeeded. Entering the light, he saw everywhere was blood red, and he found out that his skin was getting really hot, making him start thinking, "Will I die here? Where am I? What's going on?" Later, he saw different beasts manifesting from mid-air, jumping at him from different angles.
He was scared, but he realized that all these beasts were the ones whose core he absorbed. Without waiting, he started running, but those beasts caught him. They turned into specks of light, entering his body. He closed his eyes, waiting for the pain of his flesh being torn apart, but the pain never arrived.
When he opened his eyes, he saw the sun's rays entering his eyes through a window, blinding him. Trying to use his hands to block the sun rays, he saw herbs covering his hands. Shocked, he looked all over his body and saw herbs glued to his body.
"Where is this place?" he wondered. Trying to leave the wooden bed, he felt a sharp pain in his body.
Initiate healing process. (Healing process started.) (1%... 100%) (Host is fully healed.) "What? How come you started healing this fast?" (Due to the host's body changing from human to a beast.) (Beasts have the ability to heal more quickly than humans.)
Alex understood but was baffled. He threw everything to the back of his mind, looked for his tattered clothes, which he couldn't find anywhere. He took the lead bed sheet, tying it around his waist.
He stood up, looking around the wooden house, and finally knew that someone was living here too, which made him facepalm. "How did I get here if someone didn't find me and bring me here?" He went out of the door, located the nearest river to wash up.
Through the help of Nexa Core, he finally found it, checking to see if it was safe to wash up. He looked at the water for a long time but found it clear. He jumped inside the river, soaking the herbs, which made it easier to remove.
After a while, he was relaxed, but all this was cut short when he heard hurried footsteps getting close to him. He hurriedly left the river, tied the leaf back on, and jumped to the nearest tree with his ridiculous strength, which left him amazed. Looking for the source of the footsteps, he saw two young girls being chased by a group of men.
Alex was very excited about this. He shouted in his mind, "At last, I found humans! Hahaha!" He was very happy but watched what was going on. Finally, the men caught the two girls.
The younger girl was shivering with fright while the older girl was putting on a brave front, although scared. The leader of the men came out proud and said something. Alex, who was on top of the tree, was puzzled.
He couldn't understand the language, so he asked Nexa Core. Nexa Core started breaking down and processing the language.
After some time, he heard, "The prompt language of the lesser tribe (human) has been processed successfully."
Alex was glad, and when he tried listening again, he understood everything they said, which made him happy. So, with his full concentration, he listened to their conversation.
"Rebecca, just because of your foolish bravery, you and your sisters were chased out of the village. You thought you were free from this young master? You are too naive. Although you and your sister hid yourselves well, I still caught you, and right here, I can do anything to you, and nobody will do anything about it. This is my power," Klaus, the young master, said all this with pride on his face.
"If you and your sister submit yourselves to me, then I'll forgive you and let you return to the village to be my plaything."
Klaus: "Although you caught us sister trying to buy clothes, we won't submit to you even if we die." The two girls were thinking of ending their lives when they heard an angry Klaus screaming.
Staring at him, they saw Klaus with their bag, throwing out the contents and saw they were all male clothes. He became more angry, shouting, "Bitch! Who is the man who dares to sleep with my playthings? Haaaaa, frustration can be seen in his face."
Seeing his face, the sisters were happy. "Rebecca, we found a man who is much more handsome than you, and he is very good at handling us. Even if we die right here, I will really miss him and his gentle touch.
" What Rebecca said was the straw that broke the camel's back. Alex wasn't a fool. With this little information, he figured that both girls are sisters who were chased from their village because of this young man. The girls are also his helpers who found him, treated his injuries by using herbs on him, went out to buy him clothes, where they were later found out by the village head's son, who considered both girls his property.
"Foolish girls! The young master favored you by taking a liking to you for your beauty, which is your lifetime luck. But you refused and went out to look for a gigolo. You both need beating," a man said, trying to curry favor from Klaus.
