Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

"Aaaaag!" Klaus screamed while jumping on the two sisters, trying to beat them in order to calm his heart. Anna and Rebecca looked at each other and closed their eyes, waiting for the pain, but all they heard was screaming. Looking up, they saw a young man opening their eyes. Both girls saw a young man dressed up in leaves, looking funny. He grabbed Klaus's right hand, which he used to beat both girls.

Klaus screamed, looking at his hand, which could be broken at any time. "Beat him up right now! Kill him for me!" Klaus shouted at his subordinates. "Release the young master for me." The men punched and kicked Alex together, but in Alex's eyes, they were moving very slow. He evaded all their attacks easily while beating them. It was very hard for him because he was trying to control his strength. If he punched them seriously, they would die.

Klaus, seeing his subordinates on the floor wailing, was shocked because only the gods have this kind of strength. He knelt instantly, pleading for his life. "I have eyes but couldn't see Mount Tai. Both girls are the sacrifice we have to offer to the gods. Please take them and spare my life," Klaus begged.

Alex was stunned, looking at Klaus. "Do gods exist in this timeline?" "I am not a god," Alex replied, which made Klaus more afraid. "Envoy, please don't play with me. I know of my wrong. Please forgive me. Which human has the strength like you? No one."

Both girls were stunned, seeing the young man they saved from the river. Is he really the envoy? Both girls doubted themselves, thinking if they really saved calamity, which would later bite them. "Envoy, please come with me to see my father, the village head," Klaus asked. Alex answered, "Go back and don't disturb these girls anymore." Klaus kicked his subordinates and ran away, which made them chase after him.

Alex looked at both girls. "Thank you for rescuing me." Anna and Rebecca were glad and still afraid of him. "Envoy, please let us go, and we won't disturb you, please."

Alex was stressed, looking at the girls who didn't fully trust him yet. He explained his situation to the girls, saying he didn't remember anything; he had lost his memory, which made the girls feel pity for him, especially Rebecca.

Anna squinted her eyes, looking at Alex. "I don't trust you for now." Rebecca hit her and laughed. "She is just a little girl. Don't mind her." Anna pouted, raised her chest. "Which place of mine is small?" Both Alex and Rebecca laughed.

Going back to the wooden house. "These are for you," Rebecca gave him the cloth which they bought. After changing, both girls looked at him while blushing, seeing a handsome young man. "Am I handsome?" Alex asked. "Yes, no," Anna replied and quickly changed her answer, her face red.

The girls explained their situation to Alex, which made him angry. "I would have beaten Klaus up if I had known." "I'm hungry," Anna said, which made them realize that it's late in the evening. "Let's go catch fish," Rebecca said. Both girls left to catch fish. Alex left to the forest, and with the help of his system, he saw a huge pig monster. "I don't know what is happening to my body, but it's time to hunt."

Anna and Rebecca came back. "Alex, where are you?" But no reply. Both girls were sad because they finally saw a man on whom they could depend, but he left. "Did we do anything to anger him?" Anna asked with tears in her eyes. "I don't think so. Maybe he had something to do. Let's cook the fish first and wait for him so he can eat when he comes back," Rebecca said but didn't believe her own words.

Heavy footsteps could be heard getting close to where Rebecca was cooking. "What could make that noise? Could it be a monster coming here?" Anna asked anxiously. Both girls hid themselves, observing the sound, but they were shocked at what they saw.

Alex carrying a huge pig that looks like a school bus to where both girls are hiding. "It's Alex! He didn't abandon us. Hurray!" Anna jumped and shouted, making Rebecca embarrassed. "We have meat! Hahahaha!" Anna laughed till she ran out of breath. "It's been a long time since we ate meat."

Alex cut the pig while Anna cleaned up the pig. Rebecca went to their little garden to get some vegetables to cook up the pig. It took a while, but Rebecca finished preparing the meal. "So delicious," Alex praised Rebecca. "Hmph, you don't know that my sister is the best in cooking. Even the gods want my sister to come and cook for them." Rebecca hit Anna's head. "Stop saying nonsense and eat up quickly. It's time to sleep." Both girls went to clean up the plates. Coming back inside the house, they saw Alex sleeping on the floor with leaves as bedding, leaving the bed for both girls. Seeing this, Rebecca was touched. "Goodnight."

In the village, protected by an unknown barrier, an old man was seen kneeling to a young man with flames on his legs. "Envoy, we couldn't hunt any beast today because they killed all our best warriors. Such a useless waste," the envoy shouted, flames removing from his eyes and hair, showing he was angry. "Please calm your anger, envoy. Although we couldn't hunt a beast to sacrifice to you, we have two beautiful girls which we could offer to you."

Saying that, the old man peeped at the envoy, seeing that he was interested in the girls, breathed out in relief. "Where are the human sacrifice? Let me take a look to see if my master will like them. We will bring them to serve you after the feast." The envoy nodded in a happy mood.

"Dad, Dad, I saw the envoy!" Klaus ran to his father. "Dad, let's go greet the envoy. Come with me. We can't waste the envoy's time." Hearing this, the old man looked at the envoy sitting on his throne. "Interesting. Let's go look at the other envoy," the young boy with flaming feet said.
