As one of the countless employees of Anderes worldwide, Benjamin's grievances were inevitably unknown to their superiors. And the company's executives, apparently, showed no interest in the thoughts of such an unimportant person either.
Amongst the top ten floors of the skyscraper, Fang Ye sat in his expansive boss chair, pensively surveying the vast international city of Los Angeles through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
"Old Fang, how have you been recently?"
On the computer monitor on his desk, the real-time video window of Feng Li suddenly appeared.
"Hmm, I'm doing as usual, while you... Things are going well in France, right?"
Fang Ye turned around, showing no surprise at Feng Li's appearance.
"Starting work in a new place can be quite difficult."
Feng Li shrugged, a slight smile on his face: "But Paris, France, is really quite nice... you know what I mean?"
"Old Fang, be careful with your health. I'm sincerely worried that the ladies of Paris might suck you dry..."
