The hamster was quick to react. In an instant, it had darted into Yang Gang's pocket.
Yang Gang was speechless.
"Damn it! I thought this monster rat was invincible, and yet it's just as afraid of a cat!"
The wild cat was merely a common creature. Seeing that there were people around, it immediately bolted.
Only after ensuring that the wild cat was gone did the hamster reappear from Yang Gang's pocket. This time, it didn't approach the Flame Rat, but instead started searching around in the ashes.
In a few minutes, the hamster had dug up seven or eight Beast Crystal Cores from the ash. It kept two for itself, and all the remaining ones were given to Yang Gang.
These belonged to the members of Black Glory who carried them. Their ambush on the Flame Rat had failed, resulting in their deaths and inadvertently benefitting Yang Gang.
