After leaving the President's office, Wang Chao didn't flirt with the company staff as he usually would. Instead, he intended to find Tang Ruoyan, hoping to invite her to the fifth floor and discuss the profound mystery of life, as well as engage in some collaboration.
However, while he was waiting for the elevator, his mobile phone started ringing in his pocket.
Upon checking the call display, he saw that it was from GAY.
"Why is this boy calling me again? Didn't we agree on the last call that he wouldn't call me unless it's urgent? Has something happened?"
A sense of apprehension gripped Wang Chao's heart; he promptly answered the call.
Upon answering the call, there was only silence on the other end, GAY's usually annoying voice was absent. Wang Chao didn't say a word, fearing to interrupt him.
The silence lasted for several minutes before GAY's voice finally came through the speaker with a noticeable lack of energy, as if he had been through a major ordeal.
