Jerry Shaw quickly made his way over, and even brought the head of the Investment Promotion Agency, Director of the Development and Reform Commission, and a whole series of other officials related to the investment department with him. For a time, Basil Jaak's little shop was filled to capacity, bustling with high-ranking guests mingling with business and political figures.
In Jerry Shaw's presence, Enoch, naturally, didn't dare to continue being presumptuous and could only watch with wide eyes as the opening ceremony of Basil Jaak's store became increasingly lively.
Once the opening ceremony concluded, it was almost noon.
Basil Jaak walked up to Will Astir and Jerry Shaw and said, "Secretary Astir, Mayor Shaw, it's almost lunchtime now. I've already booked working meals at Food Heaven, why don't you all have lunch before leaving?"
Will Astir turned his head and asked Jerry Shaw, "Jerry, what do you think?"
