Asha paused just long enough to assure herself that Xarakas understood her instructions, then pressed one more scorching kiss to his lips before leaving the closet.
Once she'd gotten her shirt on and made sure she was presentable, she left as she'd said she would, making her way back into the castle and up to her room, where it hit her that she had maybe ten minutes to figure out what she planned on doing with Xarakas, whom she hadn't particularly seemed to please.
Shit. Shit shit shit.
And so, after panicking for much too long, a thought formed, and Asha sprinted for her private bath. It took up a whole room on its own, the bath itself the size of a small pond, and as she reached it, Asha started the water and added her favorite, sweet scented oils. Then, upon contemplation, she ran from the room, making her way to a maid's closet where she gathered every candle she could find.
And so, when Xarakas at last arrived, she was seated at the edge of the huge sunken bath, carefully arranging candles around the perimeter.
Xarakas was about to reassure her that it was fine, that he would be fine to take care of himself and that he was just happy that she'd enjoyed herself, when she tugged him into a scorching kiss, his demon nearly leaping to the surface again as he returned her kiss before giving her an odd look at her instructions.
He wasn't completely surprised that she wanted to continue this little tryst, given that she'd mentioned thather demon wanted to claim him, but he was surprised she wanted to continue so soon.
But he wasn't about to turn down a princess, not when his own demon was equally calling for him to mark her, so he simply nodded at her instructions, returning her next kiss with a deep on of his own as he briefly pulled her close before releasing her.
He waited a few minutes after she left before leaving the closet as well, killing time by putting away the equipment that they'd discarded earlier and ensuring the space was clean before he followed her directions, managing to find the passageway she had mentioned easily enough and summoning a small light to guide him down it toward the spiral staircase, taking care to shut every door behind him as she'd told him to do.
The last thing he needed was to be followed.
Upon reaching the door at the top of the stairs he hesitated for a moment before opening the door, dismissing the light he'd summoned as he slowly made his way into the room.
The sound of the water running drew him toward her bathroom, which was just as luxurious as he imagined it'd be, fit for a princess, although he was surprised to see her going through the trouble of arranging candles around the bath, watching her for a moment with a faint smirk.
"So, you invited me here to help you wash your hair?" he teased, leaning against one of the pillars as he watched her.
Asha nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard Xarakas speak, the sound of water running having covered his arrival completely, though she did her best not to look like he'd almost given her a heart attack as she turned to face him.
"Do I look like someone who needs help washing her hair?" she countered, adding before he could respond, "Actually, don't answer that."
It took her a little longer to search for what she really wanted to say though, mentally willing the candles to light as she contemplated the demon standing on the other side of her bathroom.
"I really don't want to beat around the bush," she finally sighed, pushing her hair back away from her face. "There's something going on. Beyond our demons making us extremely horny for each other, I mean."
