As Ben, Amelia, and Mariam emerged from the timeline portal into the year 1992, they noticed there was some fighting going on the train. He scans and finds that some mutants were captured inside and the army personnel were fighting some alien species.
"Amelia," Ben said, Amelia understanding his command followed him. And she held both Ben and Mariam, and teleported from the scene and they appeared inside the train.
They found themselves on a train in the midst of a chaotic battle. Soldiers were engaged in a fierce conflict with the Shape-shifters, the D'Bari forces; they are an alien species, not from the earth.
Ben, Amelia, and Mariam found an unoccupied seat and settled in comfortably. Amelia, aware of Ben's preference, took out a bag of popcorn, and they began to enjoy the unfolding battle.
They observed the intense battle between the soldiers and the shape-shifters on the train. No one has noticed Ben, Mariam and Amelia's presence.
The battle raged on between the soldiers and the shapeshifters, but shapeshifter aliens easily defeated them, one of the soldiers quickly released the mutants from their restraints to confront the threat.
Storm, Beast, Eric, and Scott, were eventually freed from their restraints to confront the D'Bari threat. Each mutant used their unique powers to combat the shape-shifters.
Nightcrawler, using his Teleportation ability, sends the aliens to the front of the train, so the train rides on them and kills them.
Storm used her thunder and winds abilities to kill them. Hank McCoy while in his beast form fights them.
Erik uses iron to kill them, but there were still many of them, so Storm, using the wind, sent a powerful gust that sent a D'Bari attacker flying into one of the train cabins.
Eric utilized his magnetic powers to manipulate the train's metal structure. He crushed the cabin housing the shape-shifting aliens, killing all over them.
During the battle, a mysterious girl dressed in a black clothes leapt onto the scene. She quickly overpowered Beast, rendering him immobilized and unable to continue fighting.
Nightcrawler attempted to engage her by teleporting around, but she effortlessly incapacitated him with a single punch, leaving him immobile as well.
Storm tried to combat the black-suited girl, unleashing a powerful thunder attack. However, the girl not only caught the attack but also redirected it, mixing it with her own energy in shades of yellow and orange. The combined force of the attack left Storm immobilized.
Magneto, ready to defend his allies, confronted the black-suited girl. Vuk confronted Magneto, questioning his intentions. "Magneto, I believe you wish to eliminate Jean. Why are you obstructing me?"
"I've changed, Vuk," Magneto responded. He seized control of numerous guns and opened fire on Vuk, inflicting damage upon her skin. However, Vuk's regenerative abilities quickly repaired the harm. She advanced toward Magneto.
With a series of swift gestures, Vuk manipulated the environment and flung Magneto aside, leaving him incapacitated.
Scott, struggling to activate his eye beams, finally managed to unleash them, but they proved ineffective against Vuk. She redirected his eye beams back at him, rendering Scott immobilized as well.
Charles Xavier attempted to reason with Vuk, warning her about the uncontrollable power of the Dark Phoenix within Jean Grey. He reached out and attempted to influence Vuk's thoughts, saying, "Vuk, you can't control the Dark Phoenix power."
However, Vuk remained resolute, replying, "It doesn't matter, Charles. I've already absorbed two-thirds of the power. My goal is to take control of all the power within Jean Grey." With her determination to possess the full extent of the Dark Phoenix power, she left Charles Xavier behind.
As Vuk neared the final coach where Jean was being held, she encountered an unexpected sight. There, in the last row, sat one boy flanked by two girls, calmly enjoying popcorn.
Vuk's shock and frustration grew as she encountered three individuals sitting in the rear of the last coach.
Vuk was in the midst of fierce combat with every mutant on board, and the nonchalant demeanor of the boy and girls, enjoying their popcorn while observing the fight, made her believe they were humiliating her.
"Who are you?" She shouted, her voice laced with anger and curiosity as she sought to understand the purpose of these seemingly spectators.
Vuk's sharp shout resonated, commanding the attention of everyone in the vicinity. The mutants and soldiers on the train, who were baffled by the sight of three individuals on the train.
The sight of these individuals sitting calmly in one corner, enjoying popcorn amidst the intense battle, left many people astonished.
Charles Xavier experienced a sense of déjà vu, realizing he had encountered these individuals back in 1962 during a confrontation with Emma Frost. He attempted to delve into their minds, but to his bewilderment, he found himself unable to penetrate their thoughts.
And he also knows about the event when Eric turned the missile attack, and that time Ben just by releasing some gasses, he saved the humans.
What puzzled him further was that they seemed to have barely aged a day in the thirty years that had transpired since their previous encounter. They remained as they were in their twenties, even though more than three decades had passed.
Beast, Nightcrawler, and Scott, who had been battling fiercely against Vuk, were equally taken aback by the sight of these individuals casually enjoying popcorn while the battle raged on.
The most profound sense of surprise, however, was experienced by Storm and Erik. Nine years earlier, they had witnessed the tragic and gruesome death of En Sabah Nur, known as Apocalypse. He had been rendered utterly powerless in the presence of Ben, slowly reduced to nothing but ash.
Eric, Storm, and Angel had vowed never to speak of that incident and had tried to relegate it to the recesses of their minds; yet there they were, confronted by a stark reminder of that haunting memory.
The memories of these encounters had left a lasting impact on Storm, Eric, and Psylocke. They remembered how Psylocke had been captured by these individuals. Over the past nine years, Storm had maintained contact with Elizabeth, who now lived with Emma Frost, along with her son and daughter.
"I am Ben Tennyson," he said, gesturing towards his two wives, Amelia and Mariam. "These are my wives, Amelia and Mariam William."
Ben's casual introduction and response left Vuk seething with anger. She couldn't comprehend how they could remain so calm in the midst of such a fierce battle.
"Why are you here?" Vuk demanded. "Answer me, or I will kill you."
With a nonchalant demeanor, Ben explained his reason for being there. "Well, the reason is, I arrived here just a few hours ago, saw a massive fight going on inside the train. So, I thought, why not enjoy the show? That's why I'm here, enjoying it."
"Would you like some popcorn? And now that you've finished with your questions, shall you continue with the fight so my family can keep enjoying it?"
Amelia added, "We're not here to interfere with your plans, Vuk. We simply found the fight entertaining and decided to watch."
Mariam chimed in, "And Ben's right; if you're going to fight, start it." This unusual behavior and their lack of fear in the face of danger left Vuk even more furious and baffled.
Filled with rage, Vuk prepared to face Amelia. "I will destroy you!"
"Amelia, why don't you fight with her? You see, every time we engage in a villain, it's good practice for you." Ben said to Amelia.
Under Ben's direction, Amelia accepted the challenge. Standing before Vuk, she taunted her opponent. "So, you want to destroy us? Why not try now?"
"So, you want to get humiliated," Vuk said. She used telepathic powers to communicate. She wanted Amelia to strip naked and dance in front of strangers, and she would be humiliated.
Amelia remained unfazed by Vuk's attempts to use her telepathic powers. "When you're ready to fight," she calmly replied. She was puzzled by Vuk's actions; the girl had been standing still for five minutes without engaging in combat.
Vuk finally realized her telepathic powers were of no use, and she felt humiliated by her futile efforts. She resorted to her Energy Projection, creating numerous energy beams aimed at Amelia. "Feel what it's like to be destroyed!" she shouted, sending the energy beams toward Amelia.
But before they could reach Amelia, she vanished, utilizing her teleportation powers. In an instant, she reappeared behind Vuk. "Vuk, if that's your best attack, then I must say I'm quite disappointed," Amelia taunted.
Vuk saw Amelia easily evade her attack. She used her Telekinesis power to turn all of the energy beams back towards Amelia, but again Amelia dodged it.
Nightcrawler was astonished that someone possessed the same powers as him but had more experience.
Frustrated by Amelia's evasiveness, Vuk channeled her Telekinesis to redirect the energy beams toward her. Amelia continued evading the attack, but eventually got hit by one of the energy beams. She couldn't help it; she wasn't an experienced fighter. This was her first fight.
