The younger version of Liah deposited him on the sofa, turned on the television and after telling him to make himself comfortable she disappeared into what he assumed was the kitchen. As he sat there, a warm sense of home surrounded him. Yes, Razor's house is huge and well decorated with expensive furnishing but it was also cold, sad, and depressing. This place on the other hand is warm, cozy, and welcoming.
This house he realized was constructed mainly of long rectangular boards and flat boards that Jermaine referred to as ply, even the floors were boarded and it had a beautiful red color. The inside was painted in a cream color and beautiful colored curtains framed the windows.
The furnishings he noticed weren't as expensive as the ones at Razor's but they were beautifully made and gave the rooms he had seen so far a welcoming feeling.
His fingers gently run over the velvet texture of the sofa while his eyes scan the wall covered with many photos of Liah and her family. Liah he realized at a young age was a lot more chubbier in body size than she was now.
Now all the extra chubbiness seems to have found its rightful place, on her breasts, hips, and butt. He thought biting his lips seductively. Her natural hair that was currently braided down her back was mostly in a huge puff on top of her head when she was younger and both styles fit her face perfectly.
He could sense her need for him earlier and also her frustration when it didn't happen, one thing is for certain. The younger version of her is just as dominant as she was.
Liah was about to leave Anthony's room when her mother appeared in the doorway. "I've to leave now, finish the breakfast on the stove will you?" "Okay," Liah grumbles. "Hey, it's not his fault he's here, so you don't have to sound so grumpy about it." Her mother said before walking away.
If only her mother knew that having him there was a dream come through for her. What was making her grumpy was the fact that there were so many sexual things she wanted to do with him but didn't know if she would actually get the chance because she had quickly concluded that being with him was going to be a lot more difficult than she had first thought.
On her way to the kitchen, she saw him lying on the sofa, his head resting on a cushion. The television was on but his eyes were closed. Her mother was gone and her sister was nowhere in sight, so she headed over to him hoping to give those pink luscious lips of his a soft kiss. Wow, this man was gorgeous, with flawless skin, long black lashes that were currently resting gracefully on his skin just below his eyes, and a perfect straight little button nose.
She had just bent down to put her lips to his when her mother came rushing back into the house. "Forgot my phone." She said, then halted in her steps. "What are you doing?" her mother shout whispers. With a frustrated sigh, Liah straightened and then turned to face her mother.
"The room is ready, so I was just about to wake him up." She said sighing again. "No, let him be, go finish the breakfast, then you can wake him up and let him eat something, then he can go rest if he wants." Her mother whispers before grabbing her phone and rushing from the house again. Liah rolls her eyes and with a frustrated growl storms towards the kitchen.
She then took great care to ensure his breakfast was neatly arranged on his plate. She wanted it to be a five-star rating because that was what he deserved. She was admiring her expertise when Zoey entered the kitchen, fully dressed for school. At least she will be gone soon, then it will be only me and my sexy dream lover. Liah thought with a sigh of relief.
"Wow, that looks like a breakfast fit for a king." Zoey laugh. "Thank you." Liah beams with pride. "Now let me go wake up the king," Liah says covering the plate with a big mesh cover. "You go get ready for work, I'll wake him up," Zoey said running from the kitchen.
"Zo...." Liah tried calling her back but Zoey was already approaching the sofa. Liah watched as Zoey leaned down and gently shook Michael's shoulder, without moving an inch Michael slowly opened his eyes, his dark eyes only inches from her sister's brown ones. "Yes?" She heard him ask.
"Breakfast is ready," Zoey says but does not attempt to move. Michael slowly raised his hand and using one finger eased Zoey back from him before sitting up. "Lead the way." He said in that deep sexy voice of his that apparently could even make girls as young as Zoey swoon.
Liah couldn't help narrowing her eyes at Zoey. First, it was Razor that was keeping him from her and now it was her very own sister." She thought with a snort. Zoey walks ahead of him and stops beside a wicker table with a glass top and four wicker chairs.
"Sit," She commands pointing to the chair. "Woof," Michael said teasingly while panting, then with a" mischievous smile on his face he did what he was told. "Good boy." She laughs ruffling his hair. "Wow, your hair is very silky," she says ruffling it again. "Zoey," Liah growls in a disapproving tone. "He's not a dog." "What? no..no...I was only joking, you know I was only joking, right? Besides he started it." Zoey says. "Really?" Liah asks directing the question at Michael.
Michael nodded but said nothing. "See" Zoey snaps at Liah. "Stop taking everything so seriously, jeez man." Zoey huffs waking from the room. "I'm sorry about that," Liah says softly putting the plate before him. "She meant no disrespect." He said looking at the plate before him with a confused look on his face.
"Maybe not but still she should know her place." Liah points out. "What is this called?" He asks. "Oh, well this is Jamaican run-dung. It's originally made from either salt fish or salt- mackerel but since you don't eat either of those, my mother used Salmon instead. Here, taste a little, see if you like it." she says taking a little on the fork and putting it to his lips.
"Seriously Liah, the man has two hands, two very deadly hands, might I add. I think he's capable of feeding himself." Zoey said taking a seat as Michael's lips closed around the fork, taking the food into his mouth and chewing slowly. "It's good." He says licking his lips.
"You like it?" She asks. "Yes, I do." He said taking the fork from her hand and scooping more food into it. "Good, now this is...." "Fry dumplings, I know, I've had them many times before at Razor's house." He said cutting her sentence short. "Aren't you eating?" He asks, putting another spoonful into his mouth.
She couldn't help biting her lips as she watched his lips close around the fork. His lips were so sexy, so kissable. "Liah?" He calls drawing her from her thoughts. "Um yeah." She said softly but didn't move. "Well, don't just stand there girl, go get your food, time is going, and you're going to be late for work," Zoey says waving Liah away. Liah snorts and shakes her head before walking away.
"So, you don't eat salt fish or salt mackerel? Or any kind of meat? Do you drink alcohol?" Zoey asks. "No, Jermaine gave me beer once but I didn't like it." Michael replied making a sour face. "Oh, so you're a pure-blood warrior," Zoey said with her mouth full. "Pardon?" He asks confused.
"I said you're a pure-blood warrior. A pure blood because you don't put anything inferior in your body and a warrior because, well because you can do what you do." Zoey says, a thoughtful look on her face. "Wait, tell me something, have you experienced diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or any other kind of discomfort at any time after eating our food for the first time?" Zoey asks. "For crying out loud, Zoey! that's enough." Liah shouts in utter disbelief at the kind of questions her sister is asking but Michael holds up his palm to silence Liah.
"It's okay." He reassures her. "Why do you ask?" "Well, it would mean one of two things, either you've a sensitive stomach, or you're not accustomed to eating our food, which would mean that you haven't been in our country very long. Actually, I think that when they found you, that was your first time on this Island. I don't think you came here on your own, you were dumped here by someone who really wanted you dead." Zoey says meeting his dark gaze.
"Excellent observation." Michael said nodding his head. "I have experienced some of those, and as for how and when I got here, I think you're right, I don't think I came here of my own free will.' He said biting his lips thoughtfully.
"See Liah, so instead of trying to shut me up, maybe you should try listening, who knows, maybe we could learn something new, you know, get a few more clues as to where exactly he came from, or maybe something I say could trigger his memory. Anyway I've to go, I'll see you guys later." Zoey said raising from her seat, taking her plate from the table and leaving the room.
"So what? Her sister was now the smart adult in the room and she was the hormonal teenager?' Liah thought with an annoyed snort as she leave her breakfast on the table and follow Zoey to make sure her annoying sister actually exit the yard.
As soon as Zoey was through the gate, a broad smile spread across Liah's face. 'Time to indulge in some French kissing.' She thought running to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
