Theron, the name of our nation before it was changed to 'The nation of magical creatures', and also called 'Magical nation'. Few years after the magic plague that caused a catastrophe, it was found out that each and every single person in the nation has high affinity for magic which led to the name Magical nation, though the degrees varies.
Before the magic plague, only a certain people have affinity for magic and do not go beyond the nine star, but now every person in the nation has affinity for magic, there is a probability of surpassing the nine star limit.
Around this time, people with the same physical characteristics decides to segregate together forming distinct groups of tribes within the nation. I and my sister fall within the group that called themselves the Wizard tribe. They_ we have the highest affinity for magic but lack physical prowess. Other groups of tribes that emerged were: the Dwarves, the Elves, Fairies, Goblins, Kobolds, Nekomatas, Orcs, Trolls and Valkyries.
Counting this there were ten group of tribes in the nation. I and Seraph decides to use our new given powers to help whoever is in need and to also find a way to get ourselves back to the way we were.
Seraph wasn't quite at peace knowing that there are three others who got power from the underworld, she was worried that thay might use the power to hurt others.
While I'm not entirely sure, I suspect that we five weren't the only ones that got a link to the underworld so I brought on a suggestion to go on an adventure to search for the other three, even though I have a sub quest to search for other people who might have been like us.
During this time, i was a three star mage and my sister, four. We went on an adventure to to search for the three others starting with our tribes group. We traveled to various district but we could not find any.
Due to the segregation of people, it was difficult to find them based on the names we know of them, moreso we only know their physical characteristics before the plague, it would take considerable amount of luck and miracle to find them.
We decided to rest for sometime to eat before continuing our search. We found a stall selling bread and pancakes so we decide to stay there. As we were eating, i could feel a sudden surge in me that made me aware that there's someone close by that share a connection.
It was like my sister's but not quite. Seraph could also feel it, it seems we are near one of the other three. From out of nowhere, a blue haired woman stood right in our front and smiled.
"If it isn't the Zenivia siblings". She said.
We both opened wide our eyes and mouth, the once blonde woman now blue haired, standing in our front brimming with soft smile and confidence, Barbara Karma. Good for us because she also fall in the Wizard tribes group.
How did she know we were Zenivia siblings? Well the only explanation to that is she could feel a connection to us both, and we were together just like that time we signed a pact with Baran.
Barbara was an illegitimate child of the Karma viscounty. There were a lot of allegations and oppositions on Reiss Karma the father of Barbara from her mother and nobles who hated the Karma viscounty. Should he try to silence her mother and Barbara herself the opposition nobles would try in what ever way they can to bring him down.
So to put an end to these allegations, Barbara had to be taken in together with her mother. But in the house of the viscount, she was maltreated very badly by her half siblings and workers and her mother would often scold her if she ever said anything.
At a point she was already thinking of commiting suicide since she could not run away. It was then the magic dust spewed to the heavens and a portal was opened to her, without hesitation she stepped into it and signed a pact with Baran.
She thought, should she have power to get stronger than her half siblings and workers who maltreated her, she would be free and would disown her parents especially her mother who just wants to live a life of nobility and forced herself a pregnancy of her to rope the Karma viscount.
It was quite a sad story to hear_not like we had any better ourselves but still... We talked with her a bit, telling her our story too.
"So what are you two doing here, though we three all fall within the same tribes group where we live is going to be pretty far from each other ". She asked.
"Well, we are searching for the other three persons who signed a pact together, so that we could form a team ". I said.
"A team?, for what ". She asked.
"To find a way to get us back to our original self, if we join heads together we can find a solution, not relying on the researchers who have made three years pass with no solution whatsoever". Seraph said.
"Hmm, sounds like work but I will join you, I'll do anything to get away from that damned house and get strong too". She replied.
"That was easy, i thought you would reject us and have lingering attachment with your new body". I said.
"Well i do, our new body is just like the old one infact it better, before only specific people could perform magic, now every one can, but this would pose huge problems in the coming years if the authorities don't do something about it, this is also the second reason I want to join your cause". She replied.
"Well it's settled then, join us to search for the other two ". I said.
"Lets go I'm ready".
