The student council president named Katrina, stood at the podium and continued her speech. "I'm sure you all know the troubles you all went through to get to the academy, so you won't want to be caught fighting or bullying each other, if not you will be seriously punished.
Iode remembered the hellish assessment he passed through in the past years and the present one, especially the third part. If he were to be born again he wished not to be born a wizard.
Katrina continued "even if you are from a fallen nation, you will be treated like everyone else".
Everyone in the hall knew she was referring to the people from the kingdom of Turf and people from the tribes of Kobold and Orc. These three kingdoms were defeated by the Stickmen. The Turfs were known as the oldest surviving civilization in the Heaters. When the stickmen invaded them, it marked a new beginning because no kingdom rose against each other and they only disappear either by internal strife or forces of nature.
When the stickmen defeated the Turfs in 1AI, they didn't stop there, they went as far north and west to Cold peninsula island, the largest island discovered, owned by the Kobolds and Orcs of the Magical nation, part of the Kaimaji continent.
"Let's continue". Katrina said. "The academy does not allow students outside its premises after 11pm, also, the academy will provide daily necessities such as food and you are required to be at the dinning hall in the morning by 8am and in the night by 7pm".
Many of the students grumbled hearing this "there isn't lunch? aren't we supposed to have three square meals daily, why are we in a prestigious academy for?"
"You came to learn not eat, it is not an obligation of the school to feed you, the school just felt it should". Katrina replied.
"Leaving that, the school will have monthly assessment either by a written exam, sparing or field exploration. This is to see how much you've grown and have a steady growth".
"After the student orientation, me and my colleagues will take you for a school tour and after that, come to the dining hall for freshmen party". Katrina said in an happy tone.
"The school tour will begin shortly, we'll divide you into 3 groups to cover a lot of ground and make things less rowdy. Lets move out". She said.
All the students moved out of the auditorium and were divided into 3 groups, according to their registration number. Iode and his roommates, Hector and Ceaser, all fell into the third group as Iode's reg no was 1/232, Hector's 1/220 and Ceaser 1/211.
The ones to lead them were Kyle and the Elf Jessica. Kyle spotted iode and went to him.
"It seems you don't need to call us after all". Kyle said with a small smile which is hardly noticeable unless watched closely.
"Hmm, i guess so". Iode replied. Kyle smiled and turned back to give the tour.
"Did he just smile?" Iode said in his mind.
"You know a senior? That's cool and awesome". Hector said.
"Yeah, i kinda met him by luck". Iode said.
"Though he seems to have a gentle side, i really wish it was Ian giving us the tour not Kyle". Iode said in his mind.
