Raven hummed to himself as he sat ontop of one of the roofs of the castle as he stared at the rising sun.
He'd cast several diagnostic spells on himself, old and modern, the best he got was insomnia. However that didn't make sense.
He slept plently. He cast some spells for insomnia, but he didn't feel any changes, so he'd just work through it like always till something happened.
"Oh well, I suppose for now though, I can see what sort of disappointment that Lockhart would be as a teacher. Funny disappointment or annoying disappointment. I shall see." He mumbled before letting himself fall off the roof and onto the ground, his wings slowly his departure down to a halt as he gently landed and hid his wings again as he walked off.

"Now, who can tell me how I managed to defeat the yeti in my book, Lockhart vs Yeti! Any volunteers?" Lockhart asked as a girl raised her hand and answered and he rolled his eyes.
That book was so inconsistent that it was nauseating. Not to mention how he was somehow fighting the Yeti while being halfway across the world fighting a vampire with nothing but a stake and his wits.
If only it was real and the vampire won. This man was terrible at teaching.
"Mr. Inanis, why don't you come down and reenact the scene as I took down the Yeti with me." Lockhart said and Raven raised his head to lock eyes with Lockhart and let the annoyance show in his eyes.
Raven had his pride, and he wouldn't be used for something so silly.
"Sorry professor, I don't quite feel so well, but I'm sure that he feels up to it." Raven said as he stomped on the toes of the person next to him making them shoot up.
"Of course, of course, you take it easy, wouldn't want you feeling unwell. Come on down young man. Let us reenact my fight." Lockhart said and Raven huffed as he laid his head down on the desk with a smirk as he could feel the annoyance of the person he just sacrificed.
He wasn't sorry.

Raven hummed softly as he floated in the forbidden forest, he was testing new methods for controlling his powers and using them effectively and efficiently. Plus coming up with new ideas.
One was as such, with a single flap of his wings, a few blades of wind shot out and cut down a few trees easily before dying off as they almost cut through a thick and deep rock.
"Not too bad." He smiled as he started practicing that, weakening it, enhancing it, and multiplying it. He also tried seeing if he could use that alongside fire for some cool move.
Flames witu the cutting power of his wind blades would be an effective tactic, especially with healers as it would cauterize the wound if the flames were hot enough. Healers would hate him, no wait, they already do.
After a few hours of trying to mix his flames into it, with moderate success, he decided to focus on something else now.
Something old, but with so much potential.
A solid glowing blue sphere formed above his hand.
It was raw and pure mana exactly like his own, the moment it touched something, it would blow up. He dropped the sphere and watched it destory a good chunk of the area.
"It needs to be a lot stronger though. If I add too much mana, it destabilizes before it can reach it target. However too little mana and it doesn't pack enough power." Raven mused as he tried to think on how to improve his technique.
"Maybe instead of just forming a shell around the magic, I form multiple shells instead. Each one containing the maximum capacity I can create, but crammed together, but untouching. Hm, let's try that." He mused out loud as he created several floating spheres of magic and let a single bigger sphere wrap around them, however he realized a crucial mistake in doing this.
He technically wasn't holding the smaller spheres in place anymore by holding the bigger sphere in place, so all the little ones started following gravity, and as such.
BOOM
The ground beneath him exploded and sent him flying away in a blast of fiery awesomeness. He barley managed to wrap his wings around himself in time to shield himself from the initial blast.
"Well… looks like I'm blasting off!" Raven said with a grin as he remembered watching Team Rocket blast off in Pokemon just like this all the time.
"Meowth, that's right." He mimicked Meowths voice with a laugh.

Raven blinked as he stopped flying off the power of the explosion. It was a good thing he had formed a barrier around the area before he started experimenting.
"Now, where the hell am I?" He asked himself confused as he floated over a building, and making himself invisible. He could see a bunch of muggles walking around.
"Oh, I'm in Rome." He laughed as he imagined telling someone he managed to launch himself from Scotland to Rome. It's not as quick as his other forms of transportation, but it's a pleasant ride. Perhaps he would start flying instead and enjoying himself more.
"Well since I'm here, I guess I can enjoy the sights and try some food." He smiled as he landed and merged with the crowds and became visible to people after putting his wings away.

Rose Potter made her way towards where she knew Raven liked to study, she was excited to start learning new fire spells, she felt bad for lying to Raven, but she couldn't admit she wanted to learn more for revenge and fear.
She had to be stronger, so she was an hour early, Lockhart had "let" the class out early after somehow being trapped in his office by pixies of all creatures.
"Yes!" She heard a females voice yell, and she shrugged it off, this was Hogwarts and hormonal teens forgot to put silencing spells up half the time.
"Harder Raven!" She heard just as she walked into the area she was supposed to learn and saw Raven and a older girl in Slytherin clothes going at it hard.
With a furious blush, she rushed off after gently closing the door she just barley opened. She'll be back later and only five minutes early from now on. If that.
She tried to hide the annoyance she felt.

Morgan Le Fay rolled in her sleep as she remembered the fall of Camelot.
A black scaled beast not unlike a western dragon, but without the wings.
Screaming. Large outputs of magics.
She could remember a person with striking blue eyes and white hair grinning as he wielded a bulky great sword that was black with blue design marks. His grinning face reminding her of Mordred and her battle tendencies.
Then she passed out from blood loss and empty magic container. Even her dragon lungs gave out.
When she woke up, there was a fading body, a crater with the shape of the beast in the remains of Camelot, and a also fading sword.
All that was left was a somehow still beating blue heart.
It still remained locked up in her castle in the fae realm.
