"Ayra Thompson Nut out with it now!! What is going on between you and the most handsome guy in class? " Ella questioned folding her hands against her lunch tray.
Ayra who was about to nibble a bland sandwich quickly dropped it back on her tray." Ellaaaaaaaaa someone might hear you "she whispered flashing her eyes around the four corners of the cafeteria. "How many times have I warned you to abstain from using my last name. "
"Which one? Oh you mean "nut" right I think it's cute and it's your name darling. ,
Ella she muttered a warning note in her voice she looked around her again and was relieved that no one was paying heed to their conversation as everyone was engrossed in their various tables.
"Ayra if you don't wish to be called by your last name then tell me already" she shrieked shoving ayra's hands.
"Ok Okay calm down eishh you are such a bone in my craw".
Ella looked at her expectantly and gave her her undivided attention while her brain screamed "let's have it ayra "
Ayra looked down at her unbitten sandwich it was a routine for her to always have a sandwich after every quiz or exams to calm the chummness she always felt at the pit of her stomach.
"I'm waiting bestie!! why is it so hard for you to spit out for crying out loud".
"Calm down before you bite my head off I kinda of ran into him in the hallway and and we came to class together because obviously we stay in the same class "she said in a breath.
"Hmm ok so the "little note " he sent you what was it about? "
"Oh that, it was nothing she shrugged you know how goofy boys can be".
"Uh yeah but I think he likes you she said winking".
"Ellaaaaa stop it it's nothing, this doesn't mean a thing at all and you know it. "
'Right so why is he starring over at our table right now as we speak? " Ella countered.
"Is he?" She made to turn around but was quickly stopped by Ella.
"Don't look okay ,act sophisticated like you don't care whether he is looking or not it will make him fall for you more".
Ayra looked at her like she had grown two heads and muttered "you are crazy."
"No I'm not ,jack never speaks to any girl in our class "ever " She emphasised rolling her eyes and he sent you a frigging note and though you say it's nothing am sure it is something ".
"That doesn't mean he likes me and keep your voice down". Ayra shushed.
"Whatever you say but I can smell something in the air".
"Oh I think the cafeteria are baking cookies" . She replied innocently .
"No not cookies silly you I can smell love in the air, written in the stars destined to be together". Ella muttered spreading out her arms in gestulation.
"Oh no" ayra face palmed herself in agony when Ella decided that two people were meant to be together there was no stopping her from making sure it happens.
"Ella he has a girlfriend in town ,she said and wondered why she felt a little jab at the tail of her heart at the thought of his fabled girlfriend.

"But he never refuted people that said it and do you seriously believe that a guy like Jack doesn't have a girlfriend and he is interested in a girl like me? ".
