[2 days later]
Morgrathun is seated in his office with a serious and murderous expression. When the door opens, one of the demons enters and says, "Yes, My Lord?"
Morgrathun remains silent for a few moments before speaking: "Scaldrax, I want you to open the cage so that Solariun's Eagle, Malefic, can assist us in tomorrow's war."
Scaldrax responds, "Are you sure about unleashing that beast, Lord?"
Morgrathun responds, "What is that supposed to mean?" Are you referring to him fighting with me? If that's what you meant, don't worry; he's now my friend. As he does not have the same bond with me as he did with the ancient demon lord."
Scaldrax responds, "Yes."
Morgarthun gets up from his seat and says, "Let's go." He walks towards his office door, opens it, and exits with Scaldrax.
After exiting, they both begin walking down a lengthy hallway.
Scaldrax asks as they travel, "We could attack humanity tomorrow without having to unleash Solariun's pet. Besides, I have no idea who Solariun is."
As Morgrathun walks, he says, "No, Solariun was one of the Heavenly beings that had fallen by the heavens. But he was chosen by Hell to be the demon king because of his cruelty and brutality toward innocent souls, but he was unable to achieve the crown. And, before his soul passed away from his body, his final words were 'I wished to annihilate humans', and his body was never found after that."
Morgrathun Pauses for a few moments before continuing, "To answer your other question, I've decided to follow Solariun's path of destruction. Thus, in this fight, I will utilize Malefic to respect Solariun."
Scaldrax inquires, curious, "I thought Previous Demon Lord and Solariun were the same entity."
Morgrathun says, "There are rumors that, Solariun was indeed the previous demon lord, But there is no evidence supporting that."
Scaldrax wonders as they go, "But, who could this being be, with enough power to defeat Solariun in battle?"
Morgrathun responds, "I do not know on who this entity is, But i know for a fact that, Entity was ordered from heavens to decimate Solariun."
Scaldrax becomes silent before continuing, "You said that, Malefic is your friend now, and you don't share the same relationship as you did with the previous demon lord, what does this mean?"
"When Solariun was defeated by the entity, Malefic was captured and prisoned by previous demon lord and was even tortured by previous demon lord." Morgrathun states.
Scaldrax pauses before saying, "Why did the previous demon lord torture malefic?"
Morgrathun looks at Scaldrax and says, "That's because Solariun, along with his pet Malefic, humiliated the previous demon king when they fought long ago."
Scaldrax responds with "Oh."
As Morgrathun and Scaldrax chat, they notice that they have arrived to the door where Malefic is locked up.
Scaldrax moves forward, takes the key out, and places it inside the locker to unlock the door.
Scaldrax unlocks the door and fully opens it. Morgrathun and Scaldrax can detect malice in the air as the door opens.
Morgrathun steps forward through the entrance and begins to levitate.
As Morgrathun Levitates, his eyes glow, and the entire chamber becomes filled with searing heat that begins to melt air.
As air melts, a shadow appears.
Morgrathun levitates towards the shadow and uses his energy to break the secret seal.
As Morgrathun removes the secret seal, a rumbling shrieking reverberates around the area.
Morgrathun smirks and says with open arms, "Long time no see, Malefic."
Malefic glances at Morgrathun, its beak practically touching him.
Morgrathun smirks back at Malefic before saying, "You are going to help me in tomorrow's war."
Morgrathun smiles and says, "Good" as Malefic tilts its head slightly upwards.
Malefic abruptly vanishes from sight.
Scaldrax is surprised and asks, "Where did it go?"
Morgrathun remained unmoved, saying, "This is his natural habit. So there's no reason to worry."
Scaldrax says, "Ah, I get overreactive over minor inconveniences."
Morgrathun smiles and says, "Yeah, you sure do. And you told Malgorth about the war, right?"
Scaldrax closes his eyes and answers, "Yeah, he said he would be present in the war."
Morgrathun says, "Good," and proceeds to walk.
On the day before the war, many members are seen at the 'Outline Preserver of Humanity' headquarters preparing for battle. A few members are on the rooftop practicing hand-to-hand combat with one another, while some are seen creating hyper armor to defend themselves, while others are seen collecting data on demon abilities. As they search for data, a few workers' eyes expand as they come across something that will give them an advantage over the demon
One of the researchers immediately leaps out of his seat and hurries to the Manager's office.
After a few minutes, the researcher knocks on the Manager's door, respectfully but excitedly informing him of their discovery.
After a few moments of stillness, the Manager says, "Yes, come in."
The researcher enters the manager's office. The manager asks, "What do you need?"
The researcher says, "We found something that will give us an advantage in the upcoming battle."
Manager responds, impressed and inquisitive. "Really? And, what could that be? Go ahead and elaborate.
Reseracher replies, "Gladly, sir."
Manager begins to listen intently to what researchers have to say.
Reseracher responds by asking, "You know, How every demon have the inventory of overpowered ability known by 'Abyssal Curse', right sir?"
Manager lifts his eyebrows and says, "Yea, what about it?"
The researcher goes on to explain, "Apparently, it turns out, those abilities are not as broken as we initially thought."
Manager responds, "Elaborate on."
The researcher goes on to add, "You see, we could tank their heaviest onslaught if we were prepared enough. Furthermore, if someone can heal himself, they can quickly overcome it."
Manager is intrigued and interrupts, saying, "So, you're telling me that if we use healing, we can defeat their arsenal? But if that is the case, Caelum should not be dead."
Manager continues, "I know for a fact that Caelum was slain by one of the Abyssal Curses, despite having the tools to heal himself. This means that even if we discovered a weakness, it ultimately comes down to our capacity. Prove me wrong: "We can't tank their abyssal curse if we don't have enough physical or mental capacity, right?"
Reseracher says, "In short, yes."
Manager rises up from his chair and says, "Yeah, it's quite intresting discovery, but don't underestimate Demons."
The researcher nods and replies, "Yes, sir."
