These solid projectiles—which moved at tremendous speeds, struck some of the people behind Ghaurris who couldn't put out a protective screen in time.
However, majority of them were protected by the blood and vitality-powered, magical shield-artifact that Ghaurris quickly produced to deflect the lethal, sharp earth fragments that will burst out like raging bees towards them because of the devastating, collision-evoked explosion.
