"So this is the domain of the new pantheon?" A falcon headed man flapped his white wings as he observed the fairytale-like palace resting on an elevated hill. Horus was slightly jealous at how beautiful it was. Not even his pantheon had such a beautiful property.
"Haha, jealous?" A burly red hair man wearing brown leather armor, a gold belt and a small bronze hammer at his waist.
Looking at his companion, Horus pokes at him, "Thor, Asgard does not have such a place, so why are you not jealous?"
Thor laughed, "Why would warriors care about appearances? All that matters is being the strongest."
Thor and Horus bickered with one another in the skies, causing the weather to become affected by their emotions.
The two of them had been friends for a long time as the Egyptian and Norse Pantheon have been allies since time unknown. As kids, they went on adventures throughout the known cosmos, making their name known across the cosmos.
Their Epithets cause many civilizations to shiver in both awe and fear as they were both powerful war gods.
"Did Amun-Ra tell you why there is a sudden interest in Nazarick?" Thor asked as he continued, "The All-Father hasn't given me any information. In fact, being here is not according to my father's orders, but because I was curious. How can a group of gods appear out of nowhere?"
Horus shook his head, causing a frown to crease his bird head, "Amun-Ra, as you know, is very secretive and likes to observe from behind the scenes. I was actually surprised since he had abdicated the role of God King to Ra, the Sun God, and disappeared. We haven't heard from him until recently, because of Nazarick."
Many people would be confused about Amun-Ra and Ra. What is the difference between the two? It's actually obvious, Amun-Ra is the fusion of two deities, the Hidden God and the Sun God. it would be more accurate to say, Amun and Ra are the split version of the supreme Creator God of Egypt.
Amun-Ra likes to fragment himself into lesser versions, i.e. other gods, to become a part of the story but remain an observer from his eternal seat as an immortal being. No one knows how many fragments there are of him, or if they are a part of him. He is honestly a terrifying god that only the All-Father Odin can handle.
Thor and Horus stopped speaking and glanced at the palace with caution and alertness in their eyes. They could feel many pairs of eyes on them, which wasn't all that friendly. Well, they did come uninvited.
Almost as if instinct, the two of them stood back to back, facing different directions. As gods of war, the more dangerous the situation was, the more violent their blood boiled! Only in battle can they showcase why they are called gods!!
Thor held his hammer in the air, causing thunder and lightning to rage throughout the heavens, "I'm Thor of Asgard! Under the command of the All-Father, Odin, I demand an audience with the gods of Nazarick!"
Horus squinted at Thor and followed along, "I am Horus, the son of the Nile! At the orders of Amun-Ra, I request an audience!"
"Welcome to Nazarick." A opened with a group of people led by a beautiful woman wearing a one piece white dress and holding a small black staff. Behind her were two other females and a man, who gave off evilness.
The group walked towards Thor and Horus and began to introduce themselves. The first to speak is the leader of the group, the goddess who had two horns on her head and yellow eyes with a slit, "My name is Albedo, the Goddess of Love, Beauty, Order, Protection and Intelligence. I am also the highest ranking god underneath the Supreme Beings."
Albedo bowed a little while looking at the gods in front of her with curiosity. The first to catch her eye is Horus, the Sky God of Egypt. He had a well toned body, which was steamline as if it was designed for speed and nothing more. She had the feeling that even though there were many restrictions and wards in place, as long as he wanted, he could escape. It was a weird feeling but she trusted her intuition. However, Albedo's main concern is the weapon in Horus's hand. It was a plain pole with an almost invisible blade at the end. If Albedo had to rank the item, she would rank it as a World Class Item. Even the defense she was proud of wouldn't stand up against it.
As for Thor, Albedo didn't have too much of an interest since she already expected him to have Mjnior, a World Class Item. She was very clear about the capabilities of Thor, as anyone from Yggdrasil would be.
Thor is a very powerful god and not many of the Guardians can kill him or even challenge. In Yggdrasil he was called an Event Boss, he was stronger than the weak Vampiric god, Cain, killed by the Supreme Beings.
Thor and Horus looked at Albedo with surprise. It's rare for a female god to have so many domains. The last three domains are enough for her to become an extremely powerful goddess on equal standing to some important gods of other pantheons. For her to just be below the Supreme Beings, means her status is very noble.
Albedo's strength wasn't low as well, it was not worse than their power, even though with their divine artifacts their strength can reach higher levels. What Horus and Thor didn't know is that Albedo possessed an item with similar effect to divine artifact.
The tall blond beauty behind Albedo introduced herself, "Hello, my name is Chu Ba, the Goddess of War, Sun, and Guidance. I'm also the eldest daughter of the Supreme Being Heaven's Blazer."
Chu Ba didn't have interest in these gods like Albedo as she just wanted to fight one of them. She knew Chu Yi would need to test the strength of this world's inhabitants, so she was willing to acquire the information by doing what she wanted to do.
A child of a Supreme Being? Thor and Horus could tell she is very powerful. In fact everyone in front of them was powerful enough to become central figures in any pantheon. However what drew their attention is the fact she is the oldest daughter, that obviously means she had sisters who might be just as powerful. That would mean the Supreme Beings are truly worthy of being God Kings as they could birth such powerful beings. That would also mean that their true purpose here was to gauge the strength of Nazarick and act accordingly.
The small girl nervously held the helm of her skirt with one hand and the other played with her staff in the dirt, "H..e.llo, I'm Ma..re Bel.lo Flor..ie, the Go..d of Des..tru..ction and Nat..ure."
Such a tiny child with such a dangerous domain was unheard of. Destruction is a domain that is equal to the domain of creation in strength but it also means it's just as hard to control. Gods of this domain are usually evil and hated by other pantheons since they are a ticking time bomb. Who knows when they would get angry and cause havoc? One must know mortals are precious resources for the gods. The more that die, the more harm is done to their precious faith, though the effects are not immediate.
The man with a devilish smile and a cold chuckle, "I am Demiurge, the Ruler of the Blazing Inferno, Darkness and Rites. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."
For the first time, Thor and Horus looked shocked and frightened. A Ruler? That's impossible! One hasn't seen a Ruler for eons, because they are extremely powerful and rare. Unlike the gods, who are gods of a domain, Rulers have complete control over whatever they are in charge of, meaning that they have complete monopoly on a domain, unlike gods who have to share. That's why there is a difference in strength to many gods of the same domain as they had a higher or lower share of the domain .
