Chereads / Agust, An Alpha's Lycan King [BL] / Chapter 22 - Be Brave, My Beautiful

Chapter 22 - Be Brave, My Beautiful

[PARK]

"What happened?" Alpha Park asked as he walked through the gates of the Kiyoto pack.

He was still in Agust's clothes and smelled like him. The Lycan king's scent was so potent on him that instead of his people welcoming him with open arms, they were looking at him with skeptical eyes.

They couldn't believe that their alpha, their strongest alpha in the realm was smelling like the devil himself. How the fuck was he even supposed to explain this?

"Where have you been, Jimin? We looked for you for an entire week and didn't find a trace of you. Now you're back home smelling like that little shit that has been killing our people?

"Where is the hatred? Where is the anger towards the Lycans? Where is the rage for what had happened to our race?" a woman in her mid-forties asked as she looked at the young alpha.

Her face was blank but there was disappointment on her face. She looked like she was about to send the alpha back to hell herself if the alpha didn't say a word of what they needed to hear.

"Mom, I—" Alpha Park began, looking at his people, the wolves who relied on him. They looked so distraught and defeated and the Alpha had a feeling that this was more than just because of his disappearance.

His mom was glaring at him with so many questions lingering in the air, the young Alpha stood there, unsure of what the hell he was supposed to do this time. Perhaps time was really a construct that was beyond him, right?

"Don't you even start with me, young wolf. Go take a fucking shower and meet me in the alpha's office. If you remember where that is," Luna Park said, not giving her son a chance to say anything.

And so, the alpha walked into his home, feeling like there were a hundred things wrong, but he couldn't quite put a hand on whatever the hell that was. He didn't fight his mom, and went to his chambers, to take a much-needed shower.

"What the hell happened?" Alpha Park asked himself as he walked into his chambers and found everything torn apart. He could smell the fear and rage of his mom and dad, but mostly it was just his mom and it wasn't a pleasant scent.

Sighing, Alpha Park walked into his bathroom, ready to rid himself of everything that had happened in the past five days. His mom had talked of him going missing for a week, and that could easily mean that the alpha was missing time.

He had so many questions.

Walking into the showers, Alpha Park couldn't help but think of Agust, no matter how hard he tried not to. He should have been focused on what was happening and figuring out why his mom was so riled up, but his entire being was somewhere else.

He hadn't taken off the Lycan king's clothes, maybe because he didn't want to lose them or maybe because he still wished that Agust would have stopped him when he left the Lycan palace.

Granted he wanted to go home and be with his people, but then a few hours without Agust, or even the idea that Agust would be coming for him, and here he was, yearning for more.

Alpha Park was seeking Agust out in his mind, hoping to the goddess that things would be better soon and that he would see Agust again, even if it meant that they were on opposite sides.

He had accepted the mate bond and he knew that he would eventually have to go back to Agust.

However, here in the showers as the water trickled down his body and Agust's clothing clung to him, Alpha Park wished he could see him again. Just one more time. Maybe he was asking for the impossible but he could swear he felt hands on him.

"You shouldn't have left, Jiminie. I would have given you a better life other than waking up, fighting my Lycans, losing, and going back home to a dejected pack. You could have been happier," Agust said as he helped Jiminie out of his clothes.

"Fuck," Alpha Park breathed out as he heard the voice he never thought he would what again. He had hoped for it, prayed for it in the midst of the loneliness his pack was engulfed in, and frankly, he preferred to be with the bastard.

The young Alpha tried to fight it, but he couldn't. He knew it was a lost cause, so he let the big bad Lycan undress him as he stood in the shower. He loved Agusts's hands on him and he wished that he could feel more than just that.

With Agust, he was Jiminie and not Alpha Park, a truth that he had leaned into, a truth so comforting for him, because as Jiminie, he was Agust's little princess or prince, whatever the fuck the king thought of him as.

With Agust, there was no pressure to lead or make the hardest decisions and as awful as that would sound to his mom and the rest of his entire pack, Alpha Park wanted to remain just that. Agust's Jiminie.

Maybe that was why as he was standing here in the shower, feeling Agust on him, he let himself be the princess for the barbarian. He would come out of this and go back to being his people's alpha later, but until then, he was Jiminie.

His Xiao Xiao's Jiminie.

Jiminie was curious about what the mate bond meant for them, and he wanted to know if there was a way out of this without any more casualties. A part of him even hoped that there would be an alliance with the Lycans, now that he and Agust were mates.

"You shouldn't be here, Xiao Xiao," Jiminie whispered softly, as he leaned into Agust, letting the king breathe him in, and hold him closer.

Jiminie could feel Agust's breath on his neck even as the water trickled down his body, and the king held onto him like he was the best thing that ever happened to both of them.

It was a beautiful feeling, having Agust in here, and in that moment, he desired the impossible and more.

"Your body says otherwise, sweetheart. Your breaths are rushed, your tits are perched and feel so beautiful in my hands, and you're wet. Very very wet, my dear dripping park. I love it when you drip like that, baby," Agust said as he spread the alpha's legs and settled his hands at Jiminie's core.

The young Alpha didn't fight him, despite the fact that he was still sore from the last time he had been touched roughly by Agust himself. The king hadn't exactly been subtle with him, but Jiminie had loved it. He loved how Agust touched him.

"The Lycans are hated here, Xiao Xiao," Jiminie reminded in a soft whimper, as he felt the king push fingers into him.

"I know, baby. But I am here for you. You called for me, and I came. I can never resist you, my beautiful. Tell me you don't want this, tell me you don't want me here, and I will leave.

"Tell me you need me gone and I swear I won't look back," Agust said and Jiminie whimpered when Agust's hands stopped moving inside of him, before they pulled out leaving him empty.

"Xiao Xiao," Jiminie whimpered and Agust turned the Alpha towards him, so they could face each other.

Their faces were so close, their breath so tense and their bodies so ready for each other. It didn't matter that Agust was clothed and Jiminie was there in the shower, naked. Agust had seen him this naked more than once, so this was nothing.

"Tell me, my beautiful. Tell me to leave and I'll leave," Agust insisted.

"I—" Jiminie began and Agust just stared at him.

"My beautiful Jiminie. I know that is a hard choice, so I will not push. I will not give you such a hard choice sweetheart. But I need you to promise me you will take care of yourself.

"Coming back here is not going to be easy, my beautiful. And I know your people need you, but please… if you need me, you can always find me, okay?" Agust said with a sad smile on his face, as he held his erasthai close to him.

He loved this pretty man and he would do whatever it took to keep him safe. Jiminie already knew that, and he understood Agust, no matter how fucked up the king was. He was a paradox on his own, but maybe there was hope, right??

"Don't go, please," Jiminie pleaded.

"Baby—"

"I know this sounds stupid, but I don't know how to live a life without you, Xiao Xiao. I can't breathe when you're not near. My entire being calls out for you. I don't know what life means anymore, not with all that is going on," Jiminie said.

"It's not stupid, my soul," Agust said earnestly, pecking Jiminie's lips, before pulling him into a sudden hug. It was comforting, and Jiminie closed his eyes to stay in the moment.

"Be brave, my beautiful. You and I will find each other, but until then, don't blame yourself for anything that happens henceforth, and be the Alpha they expect you to be. Don't hold back, my Jiminie," Agust whispered and Jiminie just nodded.

The Alpha wasn't sure how long he had been in the showers, but when he heard his mother's furious voice again, he knew he was fucked.

"You've been in there for an hour already, Park Jimin. I thought I told you we needed to fucking talk!"
