"I stepped into the classroom, bracing myself for the chaos that awaited me. The air buzzed with the conversation of the students , the whole room was in chaos. I couldn't help but shake my head in disbelief. How did I become the shepherd of this unruly flock of sheep, I thought? It was a mystery that even my super-genius mind couldn't fathom. "Well, I managed to survive as the class rep this year," I uttered lightly.
"I feel like a protagonist who survived a trial and is going to claim his reward," I muttered to myself, a hint of self-amusement clearly visible.
"Is this a sense of accomplishment? "
"Hehe, I am proud of myself. Hehe, haha."
"Class rep, you are looking creepy." said someone .
"Class rep , please, stop that." another one added .
"Hey, back to reality." a girl says.
I stopped laughing; even I feel it's kind of creepy. "I should stop reading web novels at midnight. It's affecting my pure self," I muttered under my breath.
"Alright, folks, gather 'round," I declared, my voice cutting through the various conversations and laughter. The room gradually hushed, the students turning their attention towards me, like a crowd settling before a show.
"As your class rep," I continued, a smirk playing on my lips, "I'd like to express my gratitude to all of you." I couldn't help but chuckle at my own words.
"There were many times when I felt I should quit this, especially because of Mark and his gang of bullies. But then I realized, if I quit, no one would put Mark in his place. So, I continue as a class rep." I leaned back, chuckling. Some students exchanged knowing glances, while others began to laugh, well aware of the reason why I didn't quit.
The truth was, I persisted in this class rep thing not because of some noble sense of duty but because of Professor Ramirez. Well, she's one hell of a beautiful woman. Most of the boys in our college feel the same way. Heck, I've heard rumors that some professors are in line too.
A ripple of laughter swept through the room, breaking the tension of yesterday's event. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere which I had created.
"Now, onto some exciting news," I continued, the room buzzing with anticipation. "We've managed to convince Prof. Ramirez to attend our farewell party!"
"Ha, see, I'm the best class rep , right?"
The announcement hung in the air for a moment before sinking in. The faces in the room transformed from initial surprise to pure joy, and the classroom erupted in cheers and applause. After all, Prof. Ramirez doesn't attend many parties.
BOOM

15 minutes Earlier
A boy, head down on his desk, tried to find a moment of peace amid the chattering noise of the class. Everyone around him engaged in never-ending conversations about a new game. He closed his eyes, attempting to take a nap amidst all this noise.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Jean, the class rep, entered, bringing silence to the room.
"Alright, folks, gather 'round," Jean declared, his voice authoritative yet tinged with a hint of playfulness. The room gradually hushed as students turned their attention towards Jean.
The boy, now fully awake, rubbed his eyes and looked towards the front of the class. He caught Jean's eye and received a subtle nod, as if inviting him to come forward and listen to his speech.
With a resigned smile, the boy got up from his desk and joined the gathering, curious to see what Jean wanted to announce .
After his announcement, the whole class erupted into cheers and applause. Even my eyes were wide open; Professor Ramirez attending our party was a big surprise, even to myself.
BOOM
A loud noise interrupted Jean. I turned around to look at the door, and it was Mark and his gang of bullies. Their arrival caused a dip in the previous joyous mood. After all, yesterday's events were still fresh in everyone's mind.
"Hey, Mark, you can't just interrupt me like this; I'm the class rep," Jean said, injecting humor into his tone.
"Well, well, if it isn't the hero of the class," Mark sneered, eyeing Jean with a mocking grin. "Did you make changes to the party like I told you? After all, I, Mark, can't go to a crappy party; it will ruin my image."
"Your reputation is already low, Mark," someone from behind remarked, causing Mark to lose control.
Before Mark could do anything, Jean interrupted him and said, "No, Mark, nothing like that is going to happen. After all, there will be girls and professors attending. You can join the party or not; it's your choice. But don't think for a second that you can ruin the class mood like you did yesterday," he said authoritatively.
"And don't think you're safe because no one saw it yesterday. Do it again, and I will make sure the college suspends you."
Soon, Professor Ramirez entered the class and said
"Lyre"
"Lyre , are you awake? "
"Hey, Lyre, are you listening to what I am saying?"
"Gosh, how can you sleep right now?" I heard a voice, and soon I opened my eyes, slightly rubbing them. I came to the realization that I was remembering about the incident from three days ago. The person calling me is Arian, who is sitting next to me.
