A warship arrived on the coast of Sabaody Archipelago island.
"I can't believe what happens in my eyes." A navy stepped down from the ship. What greeted him was a graveyard of corpses and a smelt of blood.
Many people died from this event. Commoner, pirate, navy, and even worse, Teryuubito.
Sabaody Archipelago was noisy mixing with many kinds of voices with many different emotions.
However, the ones who suffered most from this event were the Marines.
He approached the nearest marine's corpse to inspect it. Not out of his expectation, there was one bullet hole in the corpse's head.
"I thought Vice Admiral's death was already the worst thing that I have ever witnessed." he took out a cigar and ignited a fire on it.
He was reminiscent of the time when he entered Vice Admiral's workroom. He was shocked and vomited at that time.
What he found at the scene was a headless body. Judging from the costume, he knew the corpse was his Vice Admiral. He quickly reached Den Den Mushi, Transponder Snail to contact the Headquarters.
For some reason, the snail was drunk and it was incapable of transmitting the information.
He took a deep breath to refresh his mind and suppress the stinky scent of blood.
"My life is full of shit." he let out swearing words to vent his chaotic feelings. He was afraid that after this incident, his salary would be cut off.
He threw the cigar and started his job.
"Alright, boys. Things can't be worse than this." he unsheathed his sword and raised it to the sky.
"For the justice. We are going to kill pirates and let them pay for what they have done."
"For the justice" the crowd of Navy roared out.
The next moment made them stop for a moment.
The only Commodore in their fleet had his head exploded like a watermelon. The blood scattered on the ground drawing a crimson spider-web art.
"The pirates have killed him. Make them pay." A random person exclaimed.
Although their leader was dead, their spirit didn't die like their leader.
"Die. Pirate." The navies engaged the fleeing pirates.
On the pirate's side, they didn't have much choices. They knew an Admiral would come to this island after the death of Teryuubito.
They didn't know who was the stupid one causing this mess by killing World Noble. Even the most vicious pirate on the sea didn't have a gut to kill World Noble.
However.
If they wanted to escape this island, they had to arrive at their ship.
Arriving their ship wasn't enough, they had to fight Marines on their way in order to escape.
They didn't want to fight Marines but Marines were agitated by someone.
The battlefield was full of mess with pirates and marines.
At first, it looked like the Marines were the ones who had many advantages. However, their advantage was lost as time passed.
It was the same guy who killed World Noble. He killed Marines by sniping from afar. Each shot was accurate in the middle of the head. What made special about him was a silent shot.
Normally, a sound created by a gunshot was very loud. For this guy, that sound was reduced to 0.
He had eaten a special Devil Fruit to suppress the sound making him become a deadly assassin.
Without knowing, the navy soldier fell to the ground one by one with a hole in their head.
"Oh my. The beauty of Sabaody Archipelago is destroyed because of someone." Kizaru looked overall the situation in the sky.
He took a quick glance at The Guy on the Sky. The broadcast was still there and many navy soldiers had fallen in the battle. This broadcast had given a big hammer into the Marines's reputation.
He looked for a while before he concluded that someone only killed Marines.
"This is a headache."
Using his rich experience, he tried to guess the sniper's position. All the common spots for sniper were scanned. To his dismay, no one was sniping at those places.
He didn't want to go down and block bullets for navy soldiers since it could make the killer run away.
He had to think of a fast solution. The only obstacle in finding the attacker was the sound.
In some places, the sound was reduced to zero for some unknown reason.
He could judge the attacker's position by looking at the trajectory of the bullet.
Only taking a short moment to re-adjust the situation, he realized the slayer of Tenryuubito wasn't a stupid person like common pirates that he found on the sea.
With each kill, he moved to a new position making Kizaru have to find again.
"You know what. Since I don't know where are you, I just bombard this place to the ruin."
Kizaru gathered light on both of his hands. After reaching the maximum, he released many light beams towards buildings.
Many buildings collapsed and became a ruin.
"I hope you will rest in hell after this" Kizaru said while looking at the ruin. Trying to detect the smallest movement. Deep inside him, he hoped this matter was over so that the five elders wouldn't blame him for being lazy.
From the ruin, a muzzle was aimed at Kizaru and shot with a special bullet.
Kizaru's Observation Haki detected something was flying towards him.
Normally, he just ignored it. However, he realized the bullet wasn't a normal one.
He dodged it while the bullet was right in front of his eyes.
The bullet grazed his face. A small blood ran down his cheeks.
"Ocean stone"
He shot a laser in the direction where the bullet was shot.
*Pew*
An explosion rang out reducing the ruin to ash.
After that shot, the attacker suddenly became quiet.
"Good grief." Kizaru waited for the next attack but no response from the attacker.
"It seems like he escapes."
Although Kizaru was confident in his strength, he didn't underestimate the unseen opponent.
Besides, that shot was used to gauge their strength. The slayer of Tenryuubito saw the gap between them so he retreated.
"Sound reduction and camouflage," Kizaru concluded the ability of the slayer of Tenryuubito so that he could make a report to the fleet admiral.
"Camouflage seems like to be some work of science. Sound reduction. I assume there was one person with this ability in the Marines before."
After finishing what he had to report, he immediately assisted the navy soldiers in annihilating the pirates.
They had to work from day to night to arrest and kill pirates and criminals.
Kizaru took out Den Den Mushi to contact the headquarters However, Den Den Mushi looked like it was drunk from the appearance. It spewed out nonsense language repeatedly.
He put away the snail and approached the prisoner.
"Right. We have many works to do today so I don't accept a subtle answer." he raised his leg with light under his feet.
"If your answer doesn't satisfy me, I will end your life in this life." Kizaru threatened their life and Pirates were shivering in fear.
"First of all, do you see the face of the one who killed Tenryuubito?"
He expected someone would step out and answer it for him. However, they were silent. Too silent.
"This batch is useless. Execute them." Kizaru turned and left for another batch of captured pirates.
"Wait." Being pointed by countless muzzles, a pirate spoke out.
"I know him."
"Why don't you tell more earlier."
"It's just. I don't know his face."
"Waste of time." the barrel was aimed at that pirate.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. I don't know his face because he swore a mask."
"Can you be more specific? If you stop at that then you are good as a goner." Kizaru looked down at the bowing-head pirate.
"I… I… I tried to rob him." Under the enormous pressure, he stuttered while trying to calm his breath.
Seeing silence as a sign to continue, he carried on telling the story.
"The first time that I met him, I was interested in his suit and his gun. Those things couldn't be seen on the market or anywhere else. He carried a musket on his back."
He swallowed a big saliva.
"I thought he was a young noble who wanted to play cool so I invited my friends to rob him together."
"Uhm."
"When we corner him in the alley. Suddenly, he disappeared right in front of our eyes." the pirate looked at Kizaru before continuing.
"As if he became invisible. One by one. My friend fell to the ground with a bullet hole in their head. I was scared at that time and fled away. That's all I know. I swear that is all I know."
"I see." Kizaru stood up and whispered to the nearest navy.
"Imprison him in a special prison."
"Yes, sir" Two navies approached and dragged that pirate.
"No no. Please don't kill me."
The sound gradually died down. Kizaru looked at the mess with bleary eyes.
He didn't know where to confess his thoughts. Without meeting 5 elders, he could imagine what they would say to him.
[Look. Someone is going to be scolded. Are you sad?]
A voice in his head rang out.
Kizaru moved while ignoring that voice.
[Sorry that I can't be moved from your brain. Your only hope, Dr. Vegapunk, said you will die if you do so. You should consider me as your family from now on.]
Kizaru sighed heavily expressing his helplessness.
On Red Line, At Holy Land Mary Geoise.
The 5 elders were having a meeting with Shanks, one of the emperors of the sea.
"How nuisance" Slamming the cane to the floor, one of the elders expressed his anger.
"No one dared to kill World Noble before. And now. There is one."
"We have to kill him in order to make an example for the world" Another elder added.
"That's right. Without it, the world will fall into chaos."
"And you don't want it, do you?"
All of their attention was paid to Shanks who was kneeling.
"Of course, we all don't want the world to fall into chaos," Shanks replied.
"Then why do you stop us from doing that."
"If you do that, The Guy on The Sky will exploit it. So to be wise, we must catch The Guy on The Sky first" Shanks answered.
He knew what are they implying. They wanted to sink the entire Sabaody Archipelago island to make an example for opposing World Noble.
However, Shanks used the variable to change the situation.
Media was controlled by the government for a very long ago.
The lack of media meant the World Government's reputation was safe. Since that guy appeared, many things have happened in a bad way for the World Government.
"If you think so then we order you to capture and kill The Guy on The Sky." one of them ordered Shanks, the Emperor of the sea.
"Yes. I will do that" Shanks stood up and moved to the door.
There wasn't any smile on Shanks' face. The Guy on The Sky.
Shanks didn't think he could capture him since he didn't have any clues.
"A new age is coming and my back seems to be worse with each day."
