Do you believe in ghosts?
Like something hiding under your bed or something hiding in the wardrobe, hanging between your clothes. Waiting for you to let your guard down, and trying to approach you when you are already asleep in your dreams. Just imagining it makes goosebumps creep up your spine. Some of you may not believe it, and some of you may believe it. Like an American-Hong Kong girl who is sitting accompanied by a laptop and a bunch of horror stories that she likes. Callysta Gloria Angelic Wang, let's call her Gloria Wang. The girl didn't even mind being called strange when it came to her hobbies. At one in the morning, accompanied by a cup of hot chocolate that wasn't too sweet and sausages that he had just fried. Don't forget the tense atmosphere of a quiet house with sleeping people waiting, meaning the family members.
Everything seemed perfect, until Gloria didn't notice the figure coming down the stairs and slowly approaching her. In fact, when the figure was standing behind him he still didn't realize it. Until the moment the figure tried to touch Gloria with his hand.
"Brushh, damn it. You startled me, what are you doing at this time of night?!" asked Gloria, annoyed because of the hot chocolate she spat out of her mouth. Don't ask him, it was the result of Giovani coming and secretly surprising him.
"Watch your mouth Glo, don't curse or I will report you to daddy," said Giovani and sat next to Gloria.
"Stop calling me that name, it sounds weird," Gloria replied.
"Okay Ria..."
"Argh, Gloria. GLORIA, there are no words between Glo and Ria," said Gloria with great emphasis after interrupting Giovani's words.
"But I like Glo," replied Giovani, teasing Gloria.
"But I didn't! Oh my God, Giovani, go and back to sleep. You're bothering me," said Gloria, returning her focus to her laptop.
Giovani quickly closed the laptop in front of Gloria, withdrew the object and hid it between his hands to prevent Gloria from taking the object back.
"Give that back," said Gloria, looking at Giovani sharply.
"No! You have to sleep, it's already early morning and you're still struggling with these writings?!" asked Giovani.
"Oh come on, I'll sleep when I finish that one."
Giovani stood up and headed back to his room with Gloria's laptop. He knew his sister's temperament very well. Gloria would stay up late last night reading horror stories on the internet while the rest of the house was asleep. And it's Giovani's job to pull his sister to bed because if they wake up late tomorrow, Hillary the fussy mommy will have snakes coming out of her head like Medusa ready to turn you into stone.
"Sleep Glo! Or I will burn the novels in your room," said Giovani climbing the stairs.
"What's?! Gio, if you dare do that I will delete your entire anime collection!"
"Gio, hey listen to me!"
"Give me back my laptop!" said Gloria following Giovani to the front door of his room. Their rooms are next to each other. Since childhood, the two of them never wanted to be separated. In fact, when their room was made, each of the twins refused to eat and bathe. As a result, Christ, their father, made a door from inside the room to connect the two rooms.
"Stop it, you'll wake daddy and mommy if you keep shouting like that," said Giovani, clutching Gloria's cheek.
"Aish, let it go, really if daddy and mommy wake up it's your fault," replied Gloria.
Giovani's eyebrows furrowed, "Really?! Then when they wake up I'll tell you if you stayed up all night with your horror stories."
"Okay, okay. You win, I'm going to sleep."
Gloria entered her room, as did Giovani. Each of them tried to sleep and enter dreamland. Gloria had even fallen asleep two minutes after she closed her ocean blue eyes. Little did he know, something was watching him from outside the tightly locked bedroom window. Floating on the second floor of the Wang family residence with long clawed arms, no legs, and don't forget the smile on his face was so wide it could reach his ears.

In the morning, twins Gio and Glo were at their school. All this thanks to the new car that Christ gave the twins. They arrived at class when only a few students had arrived. Well, at least it's not too quiet for Gloria who is too cheerful. But look on the bright side, this situation suits the quiet Giovani. Calm and peaceful, at least before Gloria opened her mouth and destroyed Giovani's peace.
"Look, you're too excited about that new car. It's too early to go to school," said Gloria.
"We arrived 10 minutes before first class starts if you don't know," replied Giovani and sat down in his chair.
Gloria didn't pay attention to Giovani's words, she preferred to approach a gloomy looking girl who was sitting in the corner of the classroom. Actually, it's not really gloomy, that's just the word Giovani uses for Owen who really likes rock music. Especially when Gloria and Owen have discussed the horror things they like. Giovani prefers to go on holiday to the Maldives because he is sure that when he comes home from holiday, Gloria and Owen will definitely not have finished discussing their ghosts.
"Hey spinster! What did you do last weekend?" said Gloria.
"I just helped my father clean the garage and warehouse, you know it wasn't an interesting weekend. But I had to do it otherwise he would burn my music CDs," said Owen.
"Oh, that's a shame," Gloria replied.
"How about you?"
"Me?! Of course I spend time lazing around. You know, the bed and I are inseparable," replied Gloria.
"Yes, even I have doubts. Your twin is Giovani or your bed," said Owen.
"Shutt, don't mention that grown man's name. He's really annoying," said Gloria while placing her index finger in front of Owen's lips.
"Let me guess, it must be about you and your staying up late routine?"
"What's, I'm really don't believe how cold-hearted men are so infatuated with women at this school. Is the woman who gave him the love letter blind?! He's annoying!" said Gloria, come on Glo you said it so loud. Even Giovani could hear it, and guess what Giovani's expression is now. He just rolled his eyes, bored of hearing Gloria's mocking sentences.
"Um, I think Giovani really deserves to be crazy about I mean, do you see?! His sharp eyes, lips red like cherries, thick eyebrows, eyes as blue as the ocean, a sharp nose, and don't forget the bass voice that can make women melt when they hear it. "You know, your brother is PERFECT," said Owen.
Owen wasn't lying, he really preferred men with rock n' roll looks like him. However, if she was offered a man like Giovani, she would not hesitate to say 'Yes'. His friend's twin brother is really charming in every way.
"Argh, you're the same as Whitney. By the way, where is she?" Gloria asked.
"I heard from David that she's on leave from school today. Whitney's mother left the permission slip with Dav. You know, he said Whitney was sick after accompanying her mother on a mountain climb. Maybe she saw a ghost and was scared and fell ill," said Owen.
"I remember, you once said that Whitney's mother was a ghost hunter. I thought it was a joke, but it turns out it's true. Let's visit after school and see if Whitney's mother sealed the ghost in an antique urn," suggested Gloria.
"Wow, Glo, you know what? You're a genius! I'm coming. Let's invite Giovani, David, Janette, Bowie and Matt."
" Come on!"
Giovani massaged his temples slowly when he heard Gloria's plan, this was just one of hundreds or even thousands of crazy plans prepared by Gloria and what was even crazier was the fact that he was involved in it. Visiting Whitney was just a cover for Gloria so she could ask for one of the objects that could seal the ghost. Ah damn, Giovani's head is spinning now. By the way, if you ask whether Giovani believes in ghosts like Gloria, the answer is yes. He is not a fanatical fan of horror fiction like Gloria. He only believed in invisible creatures around them. Because he only believes what is captured by his sense of sight and what is heard by his sense of hearing.
You will not suspect what is around you until you see it for yourself. When the creature crawls on walls, hides in the dark, and monitors your movements when you are alone.
