My mind wandered back to Danzel's house. His house was never empty. There would always be someone to keep me company, especially Yara and Susan. I couldn't help but miss them. In those days, they were the only ones who kept my mind off from my family. I was used to seeing them and Danzel.
Danzel.
He was someone who just had to keep entering my thoughts when I was alone. I shrugged off his thoughts and switched on the T.V. and just then the doorbell rang. I got up and opened the door.
"Lexi, you areâ€"" I noticed there was no one, but a small envelope lying on the doorstep.
I frowned.
Who must be it?
I looked around for someone, maybe some car or something, but to no avail.
I thought about the sender.
No one knew me here, except for Danzel. He must be the one for sure.
I smiled at the thought.
I slowly opened the letter and frowned because it wasn't Danzel's handwriting.
