"Today sucks big time"
"Laiten quietly trudges his way to Mrs. Akira's office dreading the oncoming encounter"
"dude stop it already you're freaking me out," Laiten says nudging Killian who offered to walk with him to her office
"come on I'm giving you emotional support," says Killian chuckling
"My apologies master this is my fault"
"no, no it's not your fault"
"well duh of course it wasn't my fault I didn't make you trash talk the teacher to her face" Laiten pauses realizing that Killian didn't speak, it was Draken.
"uhh yeah, yeah I knew that, I- I knew that I was just saying, it's your fault I'm getting all jumpy and stuff," he says quickly trying to seem tough and not make it obvious that he was talking to someone else.
"oh yeah, I thought you just said you were freaking out" teases Killian grinning at his friend.
"me? Did I say that? uh I don't remember that " Laiten says defensively
"are you going to stand out there all day or will you get in here Mr. Esperon" Laiten jumps at the sound of Mrs. Akira's sultry voice from inside her office, Killian chuckles patting him on the back.
"you'll survive my man, if not I'll see you in hell," he says before walking away. Laiten took a deep breath dreading being left alone with this lady who made him feel uneasy, why did he feel uneasy around her? why did it seem like she meant no harm yet he couldn't help but find something about her slightly creepy, maybe it was a gut feeling, or maybe it was the fact that despite her beautiful appearance now he was sure she was the lady in the hospital.
"sorry I'm a little late, I guess I'm gonna be in detention huh," he says gulping slightly at the thought of having to spend time with her even though it was only detention
"detention?" she says looking at him quietly before bursting into a fit of nerve-wracking laughter.
"oh no, no, boy, I have something else in mind for you, Chosen one"
Laiten's expression becomes a mix of shock, confusion, uncertainty, and a sort of fear.
"Chosen one? what do you mean by that?" he asks trying to brush it off as a coincidence or a misinterpretation as he found it confusing that she called him the chosen one just as Draken had when they met at first. Slowly she inched forward approaching him she took small, calculated steps towards Laiten.
"oh don't be so modest, it truly is an honor to meet the universes chosen in person," she says as she slowly reaches out to touch him.
"Master!" before Laiten could react Draken jumped in front of him sending Mrs. Akira right into the wall, Laiten looked at the dented wall in shock as to what was happening.
Slowly she began to emerge from the stone wall causing rubble to fall around the classroom.
"Draken why did you do that?!" Laiten finally asks after recovering from the initial shock.
"I apologize, master, I failed to notice earlier," says Draken his eyes or rather the black hole he had for eyes trained on the spot where Akira stands staring at the floor
"what do you mean by that, you just turned my teacher into a wall decoration," Laiten says glaring at Draken who wasn't even looking at him, at the moment it seemed the Samurai's mind and body were fully focused on Akira who was just standing there staring at the floor.
"Miss I'm so, so sorry he wasn't meant to do that please don't give me more detention hours," Laiten says apologetically but is met with silence
"um Miss?" he calls a little confused as she was standing and her slightly heavy breathing was audible but she remained silent gazing at the ground, he once perfect bun was now disheveled on her head but then she began to speak, or rather, sing
"...the monsters are gone, come home my dear, let waltz together to the depths of hell" The sickening sound of cracking bones accompanies her haunting song
"I'm sorry what?" Laiten asks caught off guard but she doesn't reply to him
"holding hands, skipping vines, till our skeletons engulf our wretched flesh" More bones crack as she begins to change, becoming bigger and bigger by the second.
"Draken?" Laiten says more than caught off-guard by the situation as he watches his teacher sprout wigs like that of a vulture and horns like that of an adult ram
"Master stay behind me," Draken says unsheathing his sword
"Now now, here no need for such violence," she says standing to her full height of 7 feet still a little shorter than Draken 8-10 feet frame
"What the hell are you?" Laiten asks, his voice no different from a whisper and an underlying fascination hidden beneath the depths of the fear that clouds his mind as he stares at this creature that has taken form in his literature classroom.
"me? oh poor illiterate child"
"hey!"
"I'm only the embodiment of perfection, a great life form that you humans could never hope to achieve" she says in a loud, proud, and condescending manner.
"a Faerie" Draken says his sharp obsidian black orbs narrowed as he focused on her rather intimidating frame, at least to Laiten who was merely 5 feet and 11 inches her frame was very much intimidating though, of course, his height was quite appropriate for a high schooler.
"wait a second that's a Fairy?"
"not Fairy, Faerie, or Fae for short" Draken corrects as Akira applies what seems to be a blood-red lipstick.
"wait is that lipstick?" Laiten asks
"no it's the blood of my enemies" She replies looking at him condescendingly.
"Really?!"
"good grief if there was an award for stupidity you'd-"
"yeah yeah let me guess I'd win first place?"
"no you'd win last place, you're beyond plain stupidity at this point"
"what are you doing here Enzo?" Draken asks
"Wait Enzo? isn't that a guy's name?" the Faerie sighs folding its arms
"You Samurai's just love taking the drama out of everything don't you" she says frustratedly as a cloud of smoke engulfs her and when it fades there stands a male, horns, wigs and all, dressed in a sort of butler uniform and a toothy grin playing on his lips
"you're a he?!" Laiten says as his aw hangs open
"yes, yes I am aren't I just magnificent as a woman though?" he says cackling slightly.
"how? why?"
"oh dear I seem to have broken him, here let me fix that," Enzo says reaching to touch Laiten his grin getting wider and a look of pure mischievous intent in his eyes, but in a flash Enzo was no longer before Laiten but now stood at a distance, one arm slashed off, and Drakens Massive sword covered in the thick dark red blood of the Faerie, Laiten looked stunned as he didn't even see what exactly happened.
"such unnecessary violence," says Enzo in an irritated manner as his arm slowly grew back, the audible cracking of the bones as they reform.
"keep your hands away from my master," Draken says in a low tone earning a scoff from the Faerie.
"how rude, that's not a proper way to treat a guest, but it's fine, I know where I'm not wanted, but"
"but nothing"
"ah, ah, ah, you didn't think I was leaving empty-handed did you?, I'll leave on one condition"
"And what is that?" Draken asks growing impatient
"hand over the boy".
