The contents of the letter were like this
Dear Disciple of mine,
By the time you would be getting this letter, I would not be in the Central Continent. I am neither a thief nor a mage who can make you aim your spells better. I apologize for lying to you about making your spells better with Throwing Arts. Though it is partially your fault for believing a wandering old man like me. TEEHEE!
