"Well, the Level Up notifications are all good but what is up with this hidden skill?" thought Luke.
Luke checked the Status Logs to check, on what time did he get the notification of this hidden skill. The log showed '10 min ago'.
"Hmm! 10 min ago, I probably must have received this notification as the form of ringing sound when this Goblin Shaman was scared of me like chicken. So, I can pretty much guess on, what type of skill I will get after completing the other requirement but I still cannot guess the exact skill because there are too many similar types of skill, present in the world" thought Luke.
"Well, let's wait and see because even I don't know anything about the second hidden requirement. Even clearing the first was a coincidence for me because I never knew of such hidden requirement. While, I know of certain locations for acquiring high grade equipment and skill but that is still faraway in future" thought Luke.
"I hope that the AI surprises me with a good skill, if I somehow manage to complete the hidden requirement." said Luke while praying to the AI in his mind for a better skill.
Luke looked down only to find that the Goblin Shaman disappeared while leaving behind a yellow colored loot.
Luke picked up it up, the loot was the staff of the Goblin Shaman
'Inspect'
Wooden Fire Staff
Grade: Common
Attack: 30-40
Durability: 30/30
Additional Effect: Slightly Increases the 'Burn' damage of Fire-Type Spells
Requirements: Mage Class
"Hah! Even after death, the Goblin was still worthless" said Luke while sighing and storing away the Staff.
Luke thought of selling the staff to some Fire Mage Player because the stats of the staff were quite good for a beginner player and the additional effect was icing on the cake.
There is something common among humans, that whenever something good happens to them an Intrusive thought suddenly pops in mind about How to turn the Good into Worse such a similar thought came in Luke's mind about another use of the staff and he muttered "Using the staff in that way will not only make me lose silver coins but also cost me, the entire durability of the staff."
Luke hoped that such a situation never occurs, where he have to use the staff in that specific way but using it in certain situations can act as a major trump card.
Luke moved towards the hut of the Goblin Shaman, upon arriving he went inside. At first a very bad odor hit his nose causing him to shut his nose with his fingers.
There was less visibility inside the hut, which also was only possible due to the sunlight coming inside the hut from the tiny gaps between grasses who formed the roof, but it was still possible for Luke to make out inside, due to the Sense Stat.
The first thing that came into his view was a wooden altar situated at the very center of the hut, on top of the altar were some human bones. Luke went closer to the altar only to find a mass amount dried blood stains which was stuck all over the altar as well as the bones.
"Probably the captured people were used in some sort of sacrifice to their shitty self-proclaimed God" muttered Luke while removing his hand away from his nose.
Luke can still smell the strong odor, which he thought was coming from the altar but the source was not the altar, he looked around and on one corner there were some blue colored herbs and a small pot at the corner.
Luke knew about the herb but still casted 'Inspect' to confirm whether it was the even the herb or some random blue coloured grass. He was met with a red colored alert this time
Requires 'Herbology: Basic' to Identify
"Found it" said Luke while storing it away in the Inventory.
He opened the lid of pot and a green colored mixture came into his view, the mixture had some body parts of insect such as centipede and some other unknown bugs with the leather of snake, was visible on the surface which looked quite disgusting.
"Poison created by them" thought Luke and stored it away.
Luke followed his nose towards the source and finally spotted a small cage. It was very dark around the area, near the cage. So, it did not come into his view earlier.
When Luke looked inside the cage, his blood boiled and eyes went red. Inside the cage was a naked lifeless body of girl looking around the age of 18 to 20 years old, who had her arms and legs cut off, to fit her inside the cage, due to the small size of the cage. Since the Goblins didn't knew anything about First-Aid they burned the amputated part to stop the massive bleeding. Everything happened when the girl was alive.
In the entire scene what angered Luke the most, were the two small goblins probably kids of the shaman. One a slight bigger in height was eating the leg that had been cut off and the small one was sucking on the breast of the lifeless body.
Luke kicked the gate of the cage with full force. The gate being made up of wood broke apart into splinters, which fell on the floor. The two goblins following their instinct instantly jumped at him to attack him.
Luke punched both of them causing them to fall down.
"You maggots! like to eat and drink a lot, don't you? Give me a chance to serve you a dish as well." said Luke with his maddened voice.
Luke placed his feet on the stomach of the bigger one to stop him from moving and picked the little one up.
"Allocate 5 points into strength." said Luke.
Luke held the arm of the small one and ripped it apart with his bare hands by the help of his increased strength. If it was an adult goblin, it would be be hard to directly rip off a body part even with 40 strength points, but they were not adults.
The shout of the small one echoed in the hut. Luke then forcefully stuffed the separated hand inside the bigger one's mouth and said "Chew".
The bigger one tried to spit it away but Luke did not let him and increased his stomping force and with an increased voice said the same word again "CHEW"
The Goblin in the fear of the man with blood red eyes started chewing. Luke did not wait patiently for him to chew and swallow.
Luke ripped apart another arm and then legs, one after the another and kept forcing the body parts into bigger one's mouth. The small one, died of pain and blood loss. On the other hand, the bigger one died of not having the time to even taken a breath when his younger brother's body part were forced onto him.
Luke threw away the carcass of the small one while moving towards the dead body of the girl. Without even a look of disgust on his face, he gently picked her up.
When he picked her up some blood mixed with some white substance fell on the floor from her lower orifices.
"Sickening Bastards" muttered Luke.
With a solemn look on his face, he wrapped the body in a piece of cloth which was lying near the cage and stored the dead body away in his Inventory.
Luke being a human wanted the dead body of the girl to at least have a proper burial in the Graveyard and not anywhere near this settlement inside the forest.
Luke calming his anger, looked at the floor carefull.
He then kicked the altar away to look underneath, not finding any hidden entrances to a dungeon.
He stood up, took his map out and started moving to the next direction, the second settlement which was marked as a 'Older One' in the map.
