Luke after finishing his torture...Cough providing a good night sleep to the Goblin Archer in broad daylight went to the goblin scouts and saw them sitting under a tree taking a break.
"Oh! taking a break from such hard work as scouting, don't worry I the 'kindest person' on the entire World will also give you a break, a very long one at that" thought Luke while casting 'Inspect' on one of them
Goblin Scout
Grade: Common
Level:9
HP: 80
MP:10
Both the sword wielders were level 9 while the one with the Blow Dart was level 10.
Luke can handle three goblins without using the 'Mana Wave' skill due to the Shaman's presence but it will require him to use his equipment's skill because of their teamwork which is something he wanted to save for a stronger enemy, since the skill had a cooldown of 1 day.
Luke sneakily climbed over tree under which the Goblins were resting and jumped down directly on one of the sword wielder.
A fear of death loomed over the goblin and by instinct the goblin looked up only to find a man with a mace in his hands directly above him. Which was the last thing the goblin ever looked at
A number popped above the goblin whose forehead was now a part of his neck
[-120]
A huge damaged popped when Luke's mace smashed into the Goblin's Head, such a damage of 120 is not something Luke can currently deal with his meagre body stats but due to the gravitational force from the fall and a direct hit at the head, he managed to pull it off killing the goblin in one blow.
The green blood of goblin splattered all over Luke when he ripped the mace off from the sitting goblin's dead body not even giving it time to fall down and disappear.
The other two goblin reacting instantly tried to pick up their weapons from the ground but Luke kicked the sword of the other Goblin away and engaged in fight with the goblin with blow dart.
What can a goblin with a ranged type weapon which has to be loaded do against Luke, when Luke was running towards him holding a mace in his hands, yep, he can only die after getting mashed like a potato by the mace which was also the same for the last Goblin Scout who managed to get his hands on his sword unlike some struggliy Undead…Ahem but still it died at the hands of Luke.
Luke now green blood stuck all over his body moved towards the settlement. On nearing the settlement, the makeshift huts came into his view, he saw that only a goblin was sitting near a some burning logs probably their campfire at the center of the entire settlement cooking some kind of meat. Luke killed the Goblin who was about to eat his food in the same way like he killed the scouts with his mace not letting him even have the last meal.
Luke after killing the goblin picked up 2 small pieces of wood from the ground and ignited the pieces on the campfire. He threw the ignited pieces directly at the two makeshift huts.
The two huts being made of dry wood and leaves caught fire immediately. The goblins inside started to run out from their home, while their bodies was on fire, but Luke ignored the running goblins, he had only one goblin in his mind, the leader of this group the Shaman who has come out of his hut after hearing the pained shriek of his kins.
The Shaman unlike other goblins had a tattered purple colored robe worn over the body which was probably from some dead adventure, while in his hand was a wooden staff embedded with a red colored core at the very top.
The eyes of Shaman went over at his suffering subordinates then finally fell upon Luke who was standing not too far from him.
His eyes went red with anger, if only, he was a physical type mob, he would have already went berserk witnessing the current state of his kin.
Luke stored the mace in his inventory and with his empty hands spreading forward he said with a devilish smile "HEHE! YOU MAD BRUH!"
The goblin aimed his staff towards Luke and started chanting in an unknown language.
While the Goblin was busy chanting a spell, Luke casted 'Inspect' on him
Goblin Shaman
Grade: Common
Level: 15
HP: 100
MP: 200
The Goblin Shaman level was the same as the Undead Swordsman but its grade was still common indicating he was weaker than the Undead swordsman, whom Luke previously faced.
Luke kept his eyes fixed on the red colored core, he can see sparks of mana constantly generating inside the core with every syllable of the unknown chant spoken by the Goblin Shaman.
"Sound Barrier" Luke muttered under his breath, so that the Shaman could not hear him using any skill.
The chant came to an end and a ball of fire came out from the core, a common spell used by apprentice fire mages 'Fireball'.
At the very last second when the fireball was about to hit him, Luke clapped his hands from the spreading position.
Everything that happened after that went by in an instant of 1 second, the goblin Shaman after casting the spell was shocked to see that Luke was still standing in the same position with his hands spread out with not even a hint of damage in his body but the spell casted by him was nowhere to be seen.
The Goblin even tried rubbing his eyes to confirm that he was not suffering from any kind of hallucinations, but Luke who had his eyes focused on the fireball saw everything that happened within that single second, when he clapped his hands, a blue colored transparent barrier formed instantly in front of him which was made from the combination of his mana and the sound wave released from the single clap of his hands.
The Barrier formed by the skill was stronger than the Fireball with the grade of the skill being Semi-Rare and the barrier was even stronger as per the skill's description.
Sound Barrier
Grade: Semi-Rare
Producing a sound will combine it with mana that will form a barrier in front you. The shorter the sound the stronger the barrier.
Cost:10MP
Cooldown:3 sec
The Fireball hit the barrier as soon as it is formed and due the collision, all the fire element mana that contained inside the spell giving it a shape spread all over the Barrier. The Barrier completely halted the movement of mana for 1 entire second after which the barrier was released but the fire elemental mana not having the force to move forward also disappeared in the atmosphere losing all its power.
