Chapter 134: Love Parameter
---Love Parameter---
Before Setsuna obtained the "Love Parameter" reward, it wasn't easy for him to determine whether someone was a spy or not.
He hadn't used the Nine Tails Perfect Jinchuuriki Card yet, so he couldn't discern the bad intentions of his allies. However, after receiving the Love Parameter, he could now view the statuses of both friends and enemies.
For example, Uchiha Kagami's status would be:
Name: Uchiha Kagami
Loyalty: 98%
Status: Ally, disciple
(Extra notes: 0% and below = enemy, 50% = accepting you, 60% = likes you, 70% = can be trusted, 80% = would follow your orders, 90% = trusts you the most, 100% = reserved for lovers)
Sometimes, statuses could change, like for his wife:
Name: Hyuga Haruko
Loyalty: 100%
Status: Jealous, wife
If it was an enemy, the status would look like this:
Name: Black Zetsu
Loyalty: -100%
Status: Non-affiliated, Kaguya's third son, would try his best to eliminate you, wants to help his mother.
He discovered this information when one of his clones encountered Black Zetsu. This Love Parameter was extremely useful. Initially, he thought the system was just for those losers in anime who wanted to know the status of other women.
But even in the ninja world, it worked well for him, making it much easier to identify enemies or spies.
---Danzo---
After being knocked unconscious by Shino Chinoike, Danzo wanted to raise a complaint to Hiruzen.
However, he was stopped by Hiruzen due to the unrest he had caused earlier.
"Why did you attack him and even accuse the Chinoike clan of wanting to rebel against Konoha?" questioned Hiruzen.
"They dared to reject my invitation to join Root," answered Danzo.
"Danzo, from now on, you cannot force others to join Root. If you try, they have every right to fight back," said Hiruzen.
"What? Hiruzen, how could you let this happen?" replied Danzo, shocked.
"This is your fault. There are only 13 people left in the Chinoike Clan, and you caused a scene, making every clan head and even some civilians witness the commotion," said Hiruzen. "I have promised them that no ninja will be forced to join Root or Anbu. They can reject it if they choose."
"What? Wait, why did you say there are only 13 people left?" asked Danzo.
"Yes, there are only 13 members of the Chinoike Clan left," answered Hiruzen.
"What? Why has their number decreased so drastically?" Danzo questioned again.
"They were exposed to harsh conditions in the Valley of Hell, and many of them have died slowly over time," replied Hiruzen.
"But from many to just 13 people? That seems impossible," said Danzo.
"Yes, it seems so. I have checked it. Apparently, during the era of the First Hokage, he allowed members of the Chinoike Clan to leave Konoha and live with the Uzumaki Clan," explained Hiruzen.
"Why didn't I know about this?" asked Danzo.
"It was recorded in the official records, but it was never made public," said Hiruzen.
"That makes them traitors!" replied Danzo.
"They would only be traitors if no one knew about it, and they had left in secret. But since the First Hokage recorded it, they are not," Hiruzen explained.
"How about we burn the records and declare them traitors?" Danzo suggested.
"Don't do that. If you claim they are rebels, it will be impossible to prove, as there are other shinobi who know about this. There was no sign of them fleeing Konoha," replied Hiruzen.
---Sealing Secret Jutsu---
Danzo and Hiruzen didn't dare to blame the Chinoike Clan, especially since the gain would be minimal with only 13 members of the clan left in Konoha.
So Danzo tried to change the topic.
"Did Mito-sama say anything about the sealing jutsu?" asked Danzo.
"No, she didn't mention anything," replied Hiruzen. "But she did give a scroll on how to engrave it onto people in Root."
"What? Then this is useless," Danzo responded.
"No, it still has its use for torturing others, but Mito-sama didn't want to pass down the full knowledge on how to torture others," explained Hiruzen.
"Hiruzen, I can't create an elite force without using forceful methods. If I try to torture them, it could weaken them. I might break their bones or make them disabled," said Danzo.
"Hmm... Later, you'll come with me to meet Mito-sama," ordered Hiruzen.
Danzo grinned at Hiruzen's response, knowing his friend well after making such an outrageous suggestion.
Hiruzen liked to assign dark tasks to him and knew Hiruzen would often turn a blind eye.
"Have you heard about the growth of our former comrade?" asked Danzo.
"You mean Katori?" replied Hiruzen. "She's become Mito-sama's best student. It seems she no longer trusts us."
"How dare she," said Danzo, his eyes flashing with anger.
While they were talking, the invisible forms of Tobirama and Hashirama were having their own argument.
"Tobirama, look, is this your student?" said Hashirama.
"Shut up, brother," replied Tobirama.
"No, I won't shut up. I always said that after me, it should be an Uchiha who becomes Hokage," said Hashirama.
"An Uchiha? Better not. They're too unstable," replied Tobirama.
"Mikoto, look at your husband," said Hashirama.
"Huh?" Mikoto just smiled.
"Don't drag her into this, brother," said Tobirama.
---Gates---
Setsuna didn't know the real reason behind his obsession with justice and world peace—it was due to his Sharingan.
Although his Sharingan had been activated through the system, the special chakra still influenced his brain. Fortunately, unlike Madara, he managed to overcome his emotions with knowledge.
He was someone who truly wanted the best for society: a clean city, rights to education, rights to food, and much more.
"System, should I use the gates to travel to other worlds?" asked Setsuna.
"It is up to you, host," replied the System.
"Hmmm, let's save it for later. Right now, what is the status of Sunagakure?" asked Setsuna.
